She seemed rather annoyed, if the faint arcs of electricity were anything to go by, but that could just be the result of having been rather enthusiastic with her abilities during the fight. The girl, whose shoulder she was still keeping a hold of, didn't seem to be in any danger from it. After fighting the people obviously out to harm the girl--they certainly weren't being careful with her--Mikoto wasn't perfectly willing to trust her temporary allies... even if one of them was also a small girl in a cute hat...

Getting from the branch office to the scene of a reported crime quickly would have been no easy task for most people, even the many Espers in Academy City. For one of the city's few teleporters, getting to a normal crime scene before things got too out of hand would normally have been quite achievable--even if the sight of someone appearing and disappearing could confuse onlookers.
This was no ordinary crime-scene, however; it was one of those occasional scenarios where if she didn't get there in time, it would be more about cleaning up the aftermath than preventing any wrongdoing. Time was of the essence but even as Kuroko arrived, ready to declare exactly who she was, it was clear from the bodies lying around that she was already too late.

@Flamelord Yeah, it's not acceptable as is, since the power's so... enormously broad as it is that it's something that you wouldn't expect to have before level 5. Light, heat... electricity and magnetism find their way into it as well. Plus inserting her retroactively into branch 177 would just be weird.

@Apollosarcher I'm sorry, but I can't accept the character as it is. The backstory makes no sense, as they're apparently a normal esper before coming to Academy City, and there's nothing that could really get you thrown out--it's a sovereign state, you'd just be detained and imprisoned inside it.
Especially as it's the only place in the world with a facility for holding Espers.
