Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

It's also a poor setup for taking a character with you if they managed to break their arm the first time you meet them in an arm wrestle. Or taking someone that apparently forgets their strength like that. >_>;
Is a broken arm even that serious when there's a white mage right there?

Yes, because that gives the suggestion that people have carte blanche to do completely stupid things simply because there's a character that can heal them. A good measure of whether an injury should happen is 'would I have this cause so much injury if there wasn't a healer there?' Except in the case of deliberate IC-actions, if the answer is 'no' then there shouldn't be that level of damage in the first place.

I'm not sure if the white magic was intended to quickly heal broken limbs like that and I now realize the extent of her healing capabilities should be made a little more clear, which I forgot to do. Even if it is, it still takes up quite a bit of posting time with tending the injury and healing it, unless it was very quickly glossed over so explanations and travel could occur.

Good for simple things like cuts and sprains, takes quiiiiite a bit longer for broken bones, and doesn't really have any confidence in her ability to heal massive internal injury? So basically it's longer, or she can't do it, if it's too severe/the thing she's fixing's complicated.

This is why I prefer to talk to the person I wanna interact with in pm, then work on a collab post together. None of those short and sloppy quick posts from speed posting.

Because clearly insuring nobody else can interact in a scene until it's done is preferable to simply waiting so that people who coincidentally aren't able to readily post in the USA late at night can possible interact in scenes.

I don't even begin to comprehend the logic that intentionally excluding people is the best way to avoid issues with... excluding people from a scene.
Inferring and describing the architecture and decorations of a long-defunct castle is child's play, and most likely can't impact the lower levels in any meaningful way. Plenty of mortar, plenty of dust, plenty of rotten wood and maybe one or two goblins. Fieri's planning on making her immediate area as safe as possible, and immediately going to set up a storefront. At the cutting edge of mercantilism, there's no way for her to lose in today's cutthroat economy!

This assumes an open front door. Regardless, this is a party based roleplay. There's no justification for going off alone to do something alone in your first post. :/
Presumably, the first floor or so is standard castle and dungeon fare, right? Fieri, being largely outclassed and unwilling to stray too far from the entrance, won't get to the weird stuff until she has a reliable customer base (i.e. the rest of the party).

Fieri heard of the castle's wealth, popularity, and spectacular ease of looting from someone who has experienced it firsthand, and recognized the mercantile opportunity in the making.

The thing is, you're nowhere near anyone else, and it means going into detail about the castle whilst everyone but you's there. Better to meet the other characters than go dungeoneering alone.
Since we need a few more characters to get full pairings done, I'd like to encourage people to advertise the RP to friends who may be interested.

I can always try doing two more characters if we REALLY need them. :D
I'm presuming harpies are lactose intolerant. Where the fuck would you find and tame cows with no hands in the mountains? Goats aren't THAT much better. XD
"Um... Miss Palayen... don't you think looking so angrily at everyone might drive them away?" the already pre-recruited nun wondered, continuing to sit beside the diminutive paladin and very carefully keeping hold of her drink. Unlike the alcohol-averse paladin, Sophia had no real dislike for it... not that she wanted to get inebriated before a mission, but it would have been unsightly to sit in here and not order something. Plus, unlike her more dangerous companion, the harpy really didn't like drinking milk. It was one of those things her people had absolutely no ability to procure naturally, after all.

"Excellent," the runemage said, not turning away form her work inscribing on the ceiling, "It's unlikely that we'll be able to gather much information before nightfall, as the war normally takes place when people aren't around to observe, but until then, it's simply more time to prepare."

The Irish girl looked away from her work to observe Archer's choice of fitting attire. It was... garish. Garish, overly decorated, and she wasn't entirely sure how he'd gone about acquiring it, though 'outright theft' seemed most likely for someone that was, in every possible respect, legally dead.

"You aren't history's greatest pimp, are you?"
No Longer An Alley

Eventually, the girl's directions through the various alleys led to what appeared to be just another door--one that opened at their approach into a clinical, and apparently deserted, waiting room. A plotted plant appeared to be slowly wilting in one corner, and their captor shut the door behind them, sealing the lock.

"Since nobody's in, there's another experiment going on right now. You can ask any questions you want, now; you'll forget the answers by the time you leave."

She leant on the door, watching them.
