Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Marsaili

Having made her way into the city, Marsaili was beginning to wonder if the height choice had really been her greatest move after the whole 'dying' thing. Having spent more than twenty years towering over everyone and anyone aside for some coworkers, she had definitely been expecting it to take some adjustment to being smaller again... but the level of change was hard to account for. Seven feet to four and three quarters made everything far more intimidating.

She hadn't gotten this far in life--well, hadn't, at least--by letting scary things get the better of her, like having to be slammed through a metal cage by a guy with more muscles than brains. So she just adjusted the panda hood, which was definitely the second best thing to come of all this so far, and kept walking around, getting the hang of 'living' (she was definitely in a... grey area) again until the quest window showed itself. The wrestler regarded the choices before picking the one that, though marked as medium, was definitely more in line with her skills than the easy task.

It wasn't like she was Steve Irwin; she hadn't much of a clue how to go about wrestling wild animals. Instead, the short-haired girl had opted for a far more straight-forward task: delivering a message! That way, if things did go wrong, her normal skills would still be applicable to some degree or another.

Looking for the actual... well, message, and her fellow couriers was successful and eye-opening. Some random winged woman came out of nowhere and just... groped another girl for no apparent reason before getting driven off.

"Does... does that happen a lot, here?" Marsaili asked, arm raised in case it did--whether to girls in general, or simply people with the best possible taste in cold weather outfits.

Character Concept: "If the Undertaker reincarnated as a small, adorable girl."
Name: Marsaili, the Deadman
Gender: Female
Background: Before a move gone wrong lead to a horrific broken neck and untimely death, Marsaili was a renowned heavyweight professional wrestler: good at getting over with the fans due to her relaxed personality even with a monstrous gimmick and a style revolving around taking hits well and responding in force. Despite this, she knew what she was doing and had the technical ability to pull off moves that would have been wildly out of character in most circumstances. Having been given another opportunity, she opted for a long-ignored desire--though it seems that the wrestling isn't going to be going away any time soon.

Level: 1
Class: Professional Wrestler (some things you can't escape)
Race: Zombie. A human zombie, precisely. Unfortunately, whilst this might prove handy in the long run just because bits can be reattached, there's not really any advantage to being dead but alive... especially as people get upset about that sort of thing if they learn.
Attribute: Force

Martial Arts: Nope
Thaumaturgy: Mega-Nope
Gift: Born Performer: So long as Marsaili plays to the crowd, then her abilities will be better. This could be adjusting music to fit the crowd's responses or mood, but as her approach is wrestler it instead has a far more obvious role: as long as she keeps 'in-character for the Deadman', sells enemy attacks as appropriate for the enemy and seriousness of the attack, and treats things like a sport rather than a martial art or to the death; Marsaili's physical abilities and endurance will be more like the hulking behemoth she used to be (or better) than her current 'small girl' status. Ain't no grave gonna hold her body down.

Equipment: HER FISTS.
@Raineh Daze roleplayerguild.com/posts/3334181 This is everything important. Quests are in there.

I mean, if I accept a quest, do I get some sort of idea of where to find other people on it?
And... do I get to know where the hell to go? @_@
@Raineh Daze You do have a point motivation is probably the first thing you should figure out. Honestly this is something you should figure out yourself, she's your character and you know her best, or you know at least in theory.

I mean she could just dick around if you can't think of a reason for her to get seriously involved.

Less motivation and more 'how do I know to do it?'
It's not the specifics that are a problem, it's 'why would I know to get involved with any of these people/quests'.
... I have no idea how to introduce myself to anything going on. @_@
The reason for making it a gift rather than a bunch of techniques is... essentially just flavour at this stage of the roleplay. It's a reason for them to tackle combat like a wrestling match: in some ways, style over substance, and making it look good is more important than efficiency--and all of this actually working. Mechanically, it's no different than just having signed up with a big guy in the first place, since it's not a 'use to buff' style thing.

In the long run, I guess it would be something like Beowulf's hype thing from Skullgirls, or any number of combo/chargeup things from various RPG's?
@Raineh Daze I feel like that gift's application will be limited if other players aren't big enough of a crowd to count as the "audience".
But if you are certain you are accepted.

Well, the idea was that the players are... because otherwise the whole character idea's a bit unfeasible. How else is a tiny girl going to suplex someone? xD
@Raineh Daze I need clarification: her gift makes her more physically powerful the more she "performs" in front of the crowd?

Roughly? If she keeps 'in-character' in front of an audience, she has all the strength and toughness you'd expect from someone nearly 7' tall and brimming with muscle. She doesn't have the skills to perform some other way, though.
