Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

By even proposing such a thing, you seem to have missed something pretty damn crucial to the setting.

That is, Crowley. If such a thing was going to happen in AC, it would've happened by now.
Um... who's not posting because they're waiting on something, and who's just having trouble? @_@
Too many people to bother tagging. xD
Ijuin Hikaru

Given that her repeated attempts at trying to get her actual goal acknowledged were falling on deaf ears, the vampire saw little point in staying around when she could be buying dinner. Or was it breakfast? Even after hundreds of years, the samurai couldn't decide what to call the meal. Made worse by her tendency to eat food at the appropriate time but at the wrong point in her sleep cycle... at least the other way round would be clearer.

Akio, however, had a question about whether someone might have eaten the little girl's cat. Not wanting to be as unhelpful to him as he had been to her, she whispered back, "Perhaps the young from other countries or the older residents here, both human and youkai."

Why you would go and steal someone's pet for it...

Ryuuko

Oh, you were meant to shake things that were offered to you. That would explain why you needed to stick hands so far away; otherwise you might face difficulty actually shaking something noticeably. The detective was being quite mean in her opinion, not giving her a chance to do things properly after explaining the important cultural rite.

Then someone else came dramatically in, offering a box of chocolates (thus introducing her to the appearance to go with the meaning of the word) and being oddly flattering. The detective continued his string of being mean by grabbing the chocolates and eating one before she could take them, but once Ryuuko had the chance...

Face set in a determined expression, the dragon began to shake the box of chocolates like instructed, pausing for a second to ask what a Coatl was.

twas waiting for another Vita post. But I can.
sorry.
got on anti-depressants recently so I'm out of it mentally for a lot of the day.

Ah, that would explain it.

Though part of the reason Ryuuko was created is that she gives something for people to do without having Vita nee to manage another scene, so there's no need to wait for her posts. ^^;
@ghastlyInc So... about that Shun post?
There's no ulterior motive. Aside from not wanting to be in a scenario where the first thing I'd do to another player character is cut them down and burn the remains. O_o

Then she used those favors to get the audience. Like I said, she's more than skilled enough to be a Knight, and she's crafty enough to pass any test of character laid against her.

She's a vampire, tiny, and the person she needed to convince was either Fanilly or Tyaethe--as the timing excludes the previous captain (therefore it would default to the most senior member if she joined before Fanilly assumed control). That's what is causing an issue.

Favours don't cover fundamental hurdles like "why is this incredibly unsuited ultra-light hating nem trying to be a knight". xD
They'd chosen to fight, as predicted--but the timely intervention of Marianne had bought the extra few seconds needed and her arm, whilst still horribly burnt, actually had functional muscle again. Tyaethe forced herself to grasp her sword properly and took a moment to clear up any doubts about her identity: "Don't call me a little girl! Don't you idiots recognise the sword? I'm Sir Tyaethe!"

Despite the frustration evident on her face and in the luminescence, the paladin took a deep breath as the skeletons moved in and charged herself, ducking under one skeleton's swinging axe and barging another with her shoulder before it could attack. Her focus seemed to be entirely on the necromancer, with the paladin drawing the sword back for a clear thrust... but the thrust never came, only a cursory swing to ward off an attempt at getting too close as the run came to a dead halt.

The paladin had weaved through the beginning of the melee and the one conspirator they would absolutely have to take alive--in order to take up a position guarding their hostage. If the Knights foe had no leverage, then everyone else needed no reason to hold back.
Well, the dead guy isn't burnt. Just had his neck smashed. xD

I forgot Marianne hasn't worked out that it's Tyaethe.
