Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Hmm, well, if Shun feels like answering that question... Ryuuko has been present for anywhere in the vicinity of an hour to three or so.
I'm really bad at trying to be helpful. :P
Talking to characters who've already said something else to someone else or moved on entirely but placed before they did that... eh, from a story-writing perspective it's just troublesome? Because it paints one character as rude one way or the other. In conversations with multiple people, I'll end up assuming that someone's not able to find an opening in that brief period rather than saying something that's being totally ignored. Though it's just plain awkward if something someone writes (IC) afterwards would have prevented some course of action* and starts making people look stupid.

I just find it neater and more convenient to only go in detail on what's occurring in the scene rather than backing through hundreds of words. Easier to read, too.

*Not to say that that's happening right here.

Ah--I'm sorry I didn't mention, but the reason I mentioned it is because, when things are progressing slowly, it seems likely to accidentally cause more issues if there's a lot of complicated posts that make things more difficult to respond to. ^^;
Well, potentially flinging everyone else in the group backwards on top of retroactive conversation, grabbing someone, and a barrier?
Or just stall them by having one person do a lot in a very limited amount of time and making it troublesome to react.
yeah. but its a little difficult to get two paragraphs out of 'look dumb founded as many hands start pulling you to the ground'

It's not a hard rule that every post must be multi-paragraphed; people forget that far too easily. Padding can be worse than brevity when there's nothing going on.

Especially when characters then start perceiving things in effective slow motion.

struggling to think of what sho would do in this situation besides
"Tank the hit like the worlds manliest sheep boy"

That's always a valid option.

Me...

You can do it! XD

And the sheer wrongness of the time to be baffled by the looming paladin being such a small thing after all should be something to fill it out if the action isn't. ^_^

That's always weird.

So... who's left to post for the necromancer fight?
Is it odd of me to have slight wishful thinking of any kind of incident which would make me stuck in a hospital for weeks sooner or later? I can't shake that thought off as of late.

Broken bones, accidents, injuries, illnesses, the lot.

Yes, yes it is.
