Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

The more obvious ones like Gandr, I guess? Absorption only works on the weak things, more obvious stuff is very much 'dodge, block, or generally deal with more heavily'. Depends how the curses are applied. Curses aren't in the realm of normal thaumaturgy, so they're probably the most difficult thing to work against.

@Raineh Daze So essentially (if i am understanding correctly) the absolute weakest ice spells could be absorbed into her diamonds, while the spells stronger than that she would attempt to do something like create spikes from the ground or making something like a vortex of air to block or defend from or counter them?

Or walls. Walls are good.
Exactly the same as anything else for the absolute weakest. After that, ice is pretty physical.

Not to be rude or anything, but it's pretty dismissive of other people's hard work to just disregard what they write out of hand. It also tends to go badly for everyone involved. I would know - I used to just skim other people's posts and ended up not really knowing anything about who I was dealing with or what was going wrong, which caused problems for everybody.

Even reading a full chapter of an average novel these days doesn't usually take more than 15 minutes. Reading a tiny excerpt from one scene of a roleplaying equivalent takes even less time than that. Saying that it's "too long" or that it would "take too much time" is just disrespectful to people who are trying to work with others to create a shared narrative.

2,000 word co-op posts that would take half an hour to read carefully and block anyone else from interacting even when it's logical that it could happen tend to sour you on the entire concept. Particularly when they go against any idea of a shared narrative. That and I've met people who try to push them in every conceivable situation. That's less roleplaying and more a round-robin story by that stage. :/

As for the summoning thing, most people won't be summoning at the same time anyway. Take F/SN: Rin summoned three days before Shirou, Lancer was around even before that, Berserker and Caster were summoned long before even them.
@Feyblue Wait.
Fuck co-op intros. TL;DR by default. :/
Might not have time to post tonight (whilst I can still do a post with any sort of coherency) due to D&D commitments and needing to finish up a bio. I hope that nobody skips me, because I know what I'm posting... it'll just take a while to do. xD
You'll find out. :P

And yeah, Jack's IC identity is effectively indecipherable unless she starts going around leaving dead bodies for people to find. Information Erasure and looking nothing like you'd expect, woo.
I have no idea who you might be implicating, so I'd say keep it secret. :T
