Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

And now we have one Master.

I hope someone would like to be Berserker. xD
  • Name: Isabelle d'Antibes
  • Age: 20
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: Small, delicate, capable of ripping your heart out of your chest.
  • Personality: Due to her circumstances, Isabelle maintains a stoic demeanour in the face of anything that the world might choose to throw at her. Anything, without qualification; despite her age, she has already faced vampires, demons, and rogue mages without baulking. Isabelle is more scared of losing control like that than she is of anything that the world might choose to throw at her and for good reason: her ancestry, at best, gives her an extremely high propensity towards madness if she remains human. As one of mixed-blood, the idea of losing control over herself and succumbing to the Inversion Impulse is the one fate that actually troubles Isabelle.
Raised by the Church, her devotion and faith is night unshakeable. Perhaps it would be better for her to doubt more--her view on that which threatens humanity extends to herself as well. Embodying that which exists to destroy humans makes merely existing a sin in her mind, one that no amount of devotion will ever wipe clean--at best, she can balance the scales through the Church's work, eliminating that even more corrupted than herself. It is this view that convinces her to stray beyond the purest course of action as an Executor and utilise heretical abilities such as magecraft or her innate powers, even though to use those extensively risks her very mind.
For all her involvement in the violent side of humanity, Isabelle has no experience with relationships or erotic acts, viewing them with confusion when her duties would lead them to cross her path. On a personal level, she is simultaneously easily manipulated and unpredictable; having neither desires of her own or understanding those of others yet her lack of desire providing little resistance to anything that she would consider to not be sinful.
  • Skills: Isabelle is a trained Executor and, as such, highly proficient in fighting entities beyond a human level though to her, the difference between her and them can lead to either party having an advantage. Primarily, she prefers to use the Black Keys, seeing them as something intrinsically human and superior to the corrupt abilities that she otherwise holds. As normal, they are primarily useful for throwing--though she doesn't know the Burial Agency's techniques to multiply the force they hit with, she achieves much the same thing with only her body--and using them as swords is a poor decision, though with her small hands they can be used as such as well as wielded in their more exotic manner.
Her true fighting potential can only be realised when using her bare hands, a style created from a combination of instinct and some basic attempts to teach her self defence. Defence becomes a lower priority with her abilities and as such it favours an aggressive approach intended to defeat all enemies by inflicting unavoidably fatal wounds. The results of the grisly style leave the environment and Isabelle coated in crimson, a scene every bit as bad as that created by a ravenous vampire.
  • Abilities: Though blessed with the ability to be a magus, Isabelle has no real training in mystical arts--it would be another heresy atop the heresy of her existence and, coming from a family with no standing in the world of magecraft, it can be said that her ability to support a Servant on her own is on the low end. The only spells she has learned are those related to modifications on the Black Keys, rites to cause their targets to burst into flame and other such things including being swarmed by crows. Yet as a pious member of the Church, her reluctance to put these spells to use is readily apparent.
The true breadth of her abilities is apparent in her body. Though physically small of frame and possessing a harmless air when relaxed, Isabelle possesses the strength to bend steel with her bare hands and rip through bone to get at hearts without difficult. Her physical capabilities are above the level of a human, yet below that of the vast majority of Servants, and as such she needs little else to equalise the playing field with the monsters that the Church hunts. Even serious injuries can heal in just a night--though with everything, she worries that use of such inhuman attributes could too easily tip her over the edge into being a monster in mind as well as body.
Her blood's strength is evidenced in her personal ability, Binding Steel--an ability that allows her body to be a suit of armour, hold itself together after debilitating attacks, and strengthen her offence. All parts of her body can be painfully turned to metal at will, blocking an attack, and even forced into a new shape--her hand itself can be a lance. More useful, with this, she can force the two ends of a severed body part to reconnect and then allow the wound to heal itself. Naturally, the intrusion of cold metal into flesh is painful as long as it is maintained, with the metal being oddly numb.
  • Brief Backstory: Isabelle's heritage is as obvious as her family isn't. Her appearance and the presence of Oni blood clearly mark at least one of her parents as hailing from Japan, yet all the Church can say for certain is that her father is unknown and her mother succumbed to their own impulses and had to be killed--leaving them with an orphan born in France and no obvious family to seek out. Yet to the more pragmatic elements of the hierarchy, this was the perfect opportunity: an unshaped existence, certain to become a first-rate Executor should her inhuman blood turn out to be strong.
The mere possibility guaranteed that she would never have a normal childhood and when her blood surfaced, steps were taken to prevent it from going completely beyond control and her fate was determined. With her trained skills and natural abilities, she would become a target of her own agency in the event that she ever left the Church's guidance--and thus, the choice was made. She would become an Executor despite her age, sacraments and rites would be used to destroy her heart and head should her baser impulses take over, though her own defences make it doubtful that they could be activated in time to put her down immediately.
Her current charge is to represent the Assembly of the Eighth Sacrament. By partaking in this war, her instructions are to simply determine if it truly is the Holy Grail--or keep its powers to one that the Church would find acceptable in the eventuality that it happens to be nothing more than a forgery. Not having been sent on her own, an older and more orthodox nun with a talent useful for containing the Inversion Impulse has been sent with her as well. Of course, her role is also to make sure that Isabelle dies if the stresses demanded by the War cause her to give in.
Okay, that's two Servants completed.
@DarkwolfX37 Gil is the first hero and has the prototypes for almost every NP. Shouldn't that answer it?

@Kost Alter Sorry, someone else PM'ed me for the spot first. I'll let you know if that part changes.
I mean... if you haven't, you'd be in a really bad situation to understand what the basic skills do or the level things operate on. Or how magecraft works.

Some of the games would help a bit, but the anime or VN are kind of necessary?
Okay.

It was a one in a million chance. The First Holy Grail War was essentially doomed from the outset, fundamentally requiring self-interest to be set aside by the extra magi coming in to complete the ritual, and sabotaged by its own requirement to maintain a last Servant to access the Greater Grail when all seven must die to power it in its full strength. Yet something that was not a certain impossibility would one day, in one world, completed according to plan.

By chance, in one point, a particular Servant was summoned with the ability to manifest twice, an anomaly sufficient to enable the ritual's successful completion. Yet another stroke of luck would be needed for it to carry through to completion, for all the Masters to avoid the desire to make their own wishes on the Grail and allow the three founding families to achieve their goals. A long shot even where opening a hole to Akasha would be impossible...

Yet in infinite worlds with infinite possibilities, there would always be one in the end where it all came together. One where the Einzbern regained their prize on the first try and the Greater Grail was shut down after its single activation, its purpose spent. For two hundred years, that was how everything carried on, without the interest of the Church or greedy magi to seek it out. Yet not all records are lost and not all the Einzbern were satisfied without seeing what the Grail could have achieved.

And so one of the descendants of those original assistant magi took an interest and reached out, seeking assistance in restarting the Grail to achieve their wishes. A bargain with devils, sociopaths interested in watching the ritual play out once again with modifications--warping the Grail to be unable to ever reach Akasha and copy their magic, yet incorporating it further. If the Servants were granted physical forms and even the weaker, more desperate Masters were able to sustain their Servants... even if those Servants aren't traditional heroes any further... then surely it would be a more interesting experiment than the formality of the original ritual?

The site selected is Mifune City, re-establishing the war without the Tohsaka's assistance in Fuyuki being all but impossible. Nearly as spiritually rich and without any one family dominating it, its size would make it an interesting playground for this war. From the ten kilometre bridge representing urban renewal to the abandoned downtown areas... it would make for the ideal location.

Copied and modified (with permission) from VitaVitaAR, the rules:

  • No Servants Older than Gilgamesh
    • He's the king of heroes for a reason, the most powerful Servant is also the oldest.
  • No Servants from 1900 or later
    • Known rule of the setting, even if I do think there's some cool candidates from beyond then. Sadly, Simo Hayha will never qualify for anything but perhaps the most far-flung future Grail Wars.
  • Standard Seven
    • We'll be having seven servants and seven masters summoning said Servants. Sorry, but this is going to be a traditional grail war, so first come first serve when it comes to classes.
  • Servant bios are PRIVATE
    • I want all Servant bios to be PMed to me. This is purely for fun, since Servant identities are meant to be kept secret as possible, and if it doesn't work out then Servant bios will be posted publicly.
  • Please sign up with both a Servant and a Master
    • This hurts the last point a little, but ensures there is balance in numbers. Don't worry, you won't be playing with yourself. Pairs will be arranged between players, or I can pair people if they're stuck.
  • If you get yourself into a situation where your character may be killed, I'm sorry
    • The premise of this RP guarantees that Servants will be dying. And if your Master messes up, they're at risk too. However, Servants at least are all famous figures from the past, and shouldn't go down easily.
  • Have fun!
    • That's what this RP is here for. Follow standard RP etiquette and my guidelines, and you should have no problem.
  • Fate/grand order
    • Due to the... extremely mixed bag that is /grand order, I am clearing players to completely disregard incarnations of Servants who have made their debut in /grand order, in case they want to devise their own version of something that has appeared there.
  • Difference from /Stay Night
    • Though established in the same time as Fate/Stay Night, the background is quite different (and the war taking place in the KnK setting, if you wish to look up what sort of locations are already there); the War was never called such as it only happened once and the Church has never been involved. Naturally, everything here comes with no preconceived notions--and some rather physical Servants, with all the flaws and benefits that entails.
  • The Einzbern aren't Participating
    • They might be watching, and acting as the closest thing to an Overseer the War can possibly have, but they aren't actively taking part.

@Raineh Daze
Regarding the silver dagger, it's not uncommon in RPG settings for certain supernatural creatures like werewolves and vampires to be vulnerable- or at least not resistant- to silver. As you said, silver is too soft to make a decent blade by itself, so such "silver" weapons are typically silver-plated iron or steel weapons.

It's an alchemical process in D&D and is also useful against some evil Outsiders, too.

My point is that none of this is specified. You can't accept a bio based on guessing intent.
Your equipment list is formatted as if everyone is going to understand what you mean. "Enchanted"? In what way? Tyaethe's equipment is enchanted but the enchantments have no resemblance to Indrau's sword. What the hell is an "eastern longsword"? You're also presumably confusing daggers with something much shorter, because having a foot of sharp steel just hanging on your chest ten times over is probably a recipe for disaster. Why on Earth does he have a magical staff and what does that do? None of this is explained, nor the vagueness of a "silver dagger". Is that significant? If it's normal silver, that's not very sharp.

Then there's the fact it's still formatted like a character sheet for some tabletop. It's all just keywords and percentages, and that percentage stuff isn't going to be useful as nobody's making dice rolls here. Plus the equipment list numbering specific arrows and vague necessities doesn't gel with being part of a knightly order that, in general, is going to be fully and competently supplied.
