Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

I'll try, but working out what to say with a Master in no position to do anything is being a pain.
Johanna Faust and Assassin

On cue, the white-haired assassin came out, appearing to almost materialise at her Master's side--and quickly sliding backwards to be half-hidden by the mage's arm, one small hand finding Elizabeth's for reassurance. Her expression wasn't far off being a deer in the headlights; Johanna's analytical gaze seeming to pin the small girl down for a second. Assassin didn't like it, not one bit. This was an enemy and a threat to Mother, she wanted nothing more than to hide just in case a sneak attack was warranted.

Johanna held her gaze for just a second longer until the Servant turned away, burying her face in Elizabeth's side. What sort of Heroic Spirit could possibly be summoned as a child, and Assassin at that? She obviously wasn't one of the Hassans and Servants were summoned in their prime... which obviously meant that she'd died as a child. Yet to somehow qualify to be Assassin at the same time? It was a maddening, nonsensical combination that she'd need to think more on. Really, for this war to have not one but two child casualties...

The magus went back inside, taking out the two burgers she'd planned to eat whilst mapping out the ritual sites for this war and leaving them on the same table as Berserker's--though he'd obviously gone to eat his somewhere else--and leaning against a countertop. Assassin and her Master could have the couch whilst she finished eating.

She took another bite, watching the Master and Assassin take theirs. To dress Assassin in normal clothes... it obviously wasn't a good disguise, her physical appearance was simply too distinctive to hide in some way. Some attempt at a normal relationship then; something easily exploitable if it came to a point she'd need to eliminate the other two. Force Assassin to fight Berserker by targeting the Master.

"As I was saying before the fighting started, I am Johanna Faust, Enforcer. You would be...?"

The Servant, meanwhile, was sitting leaning up against her Master and staring almost... apprehensively at the burger. It was big... so big that she didn't think it could possibly be finished, not on her own. Two hands to hold... and its contents looked so juicy, actual meat, cheese... there was no mould growing on the bread, either. It wasn't even stale...

Of course, Assassin's lack of table manners became apparent mere moments later, tearing a huge bite out of the burger, squeezing down on it and ending up with more sauce seemingly on her face and hands than in her mouth.
Just making sure she's not missing swordsmanship skills or anything like that. Accepted.
... why does she have a sword, though? I'm confused.
Sir Tyaethe Radistirin

In her haste to begin, Klaus seemed to have overlooked that armour would have greatly helped, because there was no way that the paladin would actually be using her normal sword. Though it might have been more realistic to use it, Tyaethe wasn't the kind to go around killing her fellow knights in training sessions. By attacking with only her normal clothes on, she had manged to set up a situation where she was more likely to be hurt.

At least the sudden attack had one guaranteed effect: it meant her opponent was somewhat handicapped by not having a usable weapon.

As she charged forwards, the paladin stood immobile until the last second, wondering if there was some feint hidden in the brazen charge. It was too telegraphed, too open; an attack like that would never hit someone with any experience. Yet as it was the attack, the armoured figure responded by sliding down and towards the side, forcing the sword to skitter off the slope of her shoulder--and leaving her uncomfortably close, her sword left embedded point-first in the ground.

After attacking so aggressively and at this range, it would be difficult to respond to the paladin's counter, and it would leave a very clear lesson: armour or padding would have been a brilliant idea, as a fist in the gut hurt, even if the other fighter was pulling her punches.

Lilianna Belwiss

The duellist would have preferred to sleep in longer after returning to Candaeln--the beds were soft and the arms around her waist warm, but inevitably events made it beyond her choice. Namely, realising that the door to their quarters were open--which could only mean that somewhere in Candaeln, there was a child to find. It was probably going to be either where there was food or someone she looked up to...

On the plus side, it wouldn't matter that Fanilly's maids hadn't woken her. A child jumping onto her would do that quite well.
@Crimson Paladin Reminder? ^^;
Speaking of Master replacement, my new Master is up, and paired with Saber.
Except then you end up with some totally incompatible situations where you'd have someone like Ryuunosuke summoning Saber. It gets messy.

Or, if one Master's really compatible, you end up with a question like "why did Shirou summon Medusa?"
<Snipped quote by VitaVitaAR>

If we get to choose, wouldn't it make more sense for all of the masters to get in before we pick? I had assumed it would be random.

It's not random. For one, my Master was written specifically to go with Saber (of course, Saber is different now, so I need to change the Master), but...

Asking now is essentially just checking if any Master has come in that has some stupid level of compatibility that of course they'd summon one of the Servants.
Only Rider to go. And Masters.
