Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

It feels like this scene needs a distraction. xD
"Um, no, nobody's hurt, just... the floor, the floor's hurt..." Hanako said, taking a deep breath and quite amazed that such a lie had fooled anyone. Washing machines didn't typically explode, and it made no sense that she might end up on her own without the rest of her family. The pale girl wasn't an adult, after all, and her general appearance didn't inspire confidence that she was exactly adept at looking after herself. Though she felt she made a pretty good job of it.

"Sh-Sharing's fine! I've shared rooms before!" she squeaked. She had to get the room now, before it was taken back, even if it meant having to sneak out of a shrine maiden's bedroom in the dead of night. That was still somewhere to sleep, and it definitely wasn't like she had any reason to be breaking out herself to give Hanako time to run off without being spotted--or justifying it as "I was just trying to find you". And that would be too clingy.

"Ah... do you live at the shrine or...?"

Sorry, sorry, I've been distracted.

"Yes, and if you don't mind, we'll be taking our leave now," Kezia said, giving the Overseer a perfunctory bow. It wasn't a guaranteed thing, but the bird was a giveaway--at least one other set of Servants was likely to be headed their way in the near future and that meant that they had best get going, "Master, if you follow me, we can return directly to where we started..."

She was still pretty confident none of the other Servants had a good way to track her when she moved around like that.
The path was open... and Tyaethe once again rushed forwards with more speed than was normal for someone so armoured, blade gripped tight. It still probably wouldn't be enough to cut her down before this spell completed, not if she pulled out one last barrier, but she had one thing to hope for: this witch didn't want to die.

Because if she wanted to live, it wouldn't be an option to target the captain, or those further back. That would just have her cut in half. She would have to either abandon her spell--or do the sane thing and target the paladin.

Tyaethe didn't mind, she'd be fine.
"Eh? It fixed?" Hibiki asked, looking at where there had definitely been a smashed-in storefront before. If there was something that she wasn't going to complain about, then it was the landscape just fixing itself when the fighting was done. Only once had she seen something like that happen, and that had been because it was a process undoing the deconstructing of the world... not that it had done much about the people.

At least it meant that her completely unexplainable mini-Miku hadn't been damaged, and the schoolgirl was quick to pick it back up.
Oh, the other girl had believed her, and the shrine maiden wasn't continuing the charade. That was good, Hanako wasn't sure how much teasing she could have actually taken from such a respected figure. A bit calmer now, she no longer had such a focus on her shoes, "I'm fine, I'm fine... I should have been watching where I was going, anyway..."

Though... maybe this was actually a good opportunity if she thought about it? A shrine maiden was incredibly unlikely to be involved in something like the Hex Night; she probably had far more important spiritual protections to see to. And because it was an inherited position, she was likely to have a spare room or something that would give her the chance to come and go late at night...

"Ah, but... my family's... washing machine... exploded and I need to stay somewhere until... um... the floor is fixed..."

I'll get my post up within 24 hours.
What a strange definition of short you have. That's a perfectly reasonable length. :<

Although she hadn't been summoned by this Master, it was quite interesting to be brought back to Chaldea with him. Not that there was much of a contract... pseudo-Servants and Illyasviel's body made for an interesting combination. It would have helped to get time to look around and familiarise herself with the layout of the base, perhaps offer to contribute to the Masters' work--after all, even if Louhi's methods were hardly replicable by modern magi, Illya was simply a modern alchemist and an Einzbern to boot. Though the concept of working within a budget was a bit unusual...

But Saber had some questions for her.

"You recognise this body? Calling us Illyasviel is probably the best name," the girl said after some thought, wondering if Saber had actually identified her this time. Of course, there was more to her than Illya, but any pseudo-Servant was a composite... and having all three made for an interesting balance to her original personality.

"Umu? What do you mean...?"

She probably wasn't the best tour guide, either.
