"What? No, don't be. I just-"

Cole stared in astonishment as Serenity got up and left. Had he said something wrong? When she had taken his hand, he found the gesture to be rather unusual, and he figured that he would have shown his concern by speaking up, though, that had proven to have flustered her even more. Should he have not said anything at all? There was no point in thinking of such things anymore, because it did not matter. Instead, his mind raced as he tried to think of what to do next. Sure, he did wish for a distraction from the memories that had been running through his head after his fight, but having to deal with his current situation was turning out to be a rather unpleasant experience as well.

He caught her eye once more after she had sat back down some distance away, and considered saying something else. No, that did not turn out well the first time. He continued to observe her as she went about doing her own thing, removing her gloves and then closing her eyes. What did it all mean? It had all suddenly turned out to be really strange. She had not been present during his battle, but had she somehow figured out what he was and gotten scared? He was still puzzled by her behavior, and let out a sigh in frustration when he could not think of anything he could do to get any answers for the moment.

With that, he turned back to the arena, finding the two combatants to be in the same position as when he was last looking at them. However, something caught his eye, and he leaned forward for a clearer view. Eric was doing, or attempting to do something in the middle of all that hair. He was lightly tapping the portion of Luxianne's hair that was within his reach with his fingers. Cole did not understand what that meant, but he figured that he was about to find out very soon.

It had gotten to a point where Cole's full attention had been on the arena battle, when a sudden feel of fabric against his bare skin caused him to jump slightly. His eyes darted to Serenity's gloved hand over his own, and he stared, stunned for a moment. It was the first time he had been touched since he was helped to his seat after his fight, and it agitated him a little. How he was feeling in response might have also been due to the fact that he was not used to being around people who expressed themselves in such a manner. This contact, to him, seemed... unnecessary.

Regardless, he was in a rather awkward situation. He first considered that she might have wanted his attention, but she had not said a word to him since she had taken hold of his hand. If that was not it, then... do certain people not find comfort in touching another person? In that case, was she that anxious about the battle that she had to do that? He looked up at her, finding her still watching the fight closely. He did not know what he could say to calm her.

"I- Is everything alright?" He eventually blurted out, which he then realized was a silly question, considering that she was visibly tensed.

Lena stared back at the creature, who appeared to have noticed and taken interest in Lo and herself.

"Well, yes," she said to Lo. "I believe you're now seeing the exact same thing that I am."

It did not look aggressive, and seemed to be displaying intelligence. So, it was not exactly an animal, but what was it? She wondered if it could speak. She decided that it would be safe to move closer to it, and if it did try to attack them, she could probably hit it with a photonic blast, seeing as how wherever they were was well-lit.

"Let's take a closer look," Lena whispered to Lo, before approaching the blue creature.

@Drakey The weekend would be fine for me :) I'd respond to Serenity, but I don't really want to leave the current fighters and the three in the back too far behind. I mean, things are starting to get interesting between the two blondes in front.

She gasped a little when the girl healed and unknowingly reacted grabbing Cole's hand as she watched what was going on.

Well, this really blew up lol. Great to see the activity picking up again.

@Drakey After the Eric/Luxianne battle, will there be time for all the current characters to wrap up before the time skip? Since they're all in the middle of some interactions right now. Also, I don't mind a Discord channel for this RP, though I'm kind of a noob at it since nobody I know irl currently uses it.

Lena cocked her head at the man, who had laid flat on the sand, in confusion. "Enjoying?"

She crouched down, scooping some sand up into her hand before letting the grains fall through her fingers. It looked comfortable, that was for sure, but what did Lo mean by 'something they would see on a daily basis'? Was he suggesting that they were never going to be able to leave this place? Unfortunately, it was a possibility, one that Lena did not want to think about. Even discovering all this water would mean nothing if she could never see her friends and family again.

Lo then stood up, suggesting that they look for others. That was when Lena spotted something behind him. A strange-looking creature had emerged from the forest. It looked like an animal, but it was walking on two legs and wearing large shoes.

"What is that?" Lena asked in shock, pointing to the blue creature.
