Lena knew that she was practically no good without sunlight, and requested that she be the one to stand guard at the entrance, which the agents agreed to. As for the rest, it did not take a long walk along the damp, firelit tunnel until they stumbled upon a large pile of rubble which blocked their path, presumably the aftermath of the crash they had heard earlier on. Stirred by the presence of the newcomers, several survivors of the collapse emerged from the gaps in the debris, lunging at the group before any of them could get a word in.
J and R immediately whipped their guns out and began firing at what looked like mutant rats and giant insects. Rex, on the other hand, instinctively reached out to touch one of the arthropodal creatures in an attempt to 'cure' it. Glowing circuit patterns spread from the area of contact, and then vanished doing absolutely nothing, reminding him that what they were battling were most likely not EVOs. His mistake caused him to be slammed into the wall, which he recovered from quickly. Building his Blast Caster, he proceeded to destroy their attackers with his giant whip.
After ridding themselves of the remaining creatures, Cloud, Rex and the agents would find themselves heading down a tunnel that would eventually lead them to the Zerg hatchery. On the other side of the rubble pile, He-Man, She-Ra and Link's search for one of the origins of the attack would bring them closer to the Skaven's workshop.

Dr. Scarlet was relieved that she was finally able to work in peace, though, she was still heard grumbling to herself a couple of times about how the mayor kept pestering them to implement the project. Having had to send out the copies of only the first iteration had caused them a substantial amount of trouble with their glitches and flaws, not to mention that she and the agents hardly had the time to plan ahead of what had already taken place. After some time, a third emblem materialized on the holographic screen - the pathway to Hyrule. Picking off the one to Midgar, she began to work on locating the timeline where Zack had come from.
She, of course, did not forget her only companion in the room. "Feeling better, Miss?"

Hmm I see. What do you think of the idea of a territorial dispute between the two kingdoms over the forested land some 15 years back? Which would explain why Dainia troops attacked Raven's home the night she lost her parents.
