I've just put my crew and their ride up. Had a lot of fun making them all, and I think they'll be a lot of fun to play around and interact with too, they seem like a colourful bunch. 
I have no idea where I came up with the name of the tank from, but I honestly love it.

I didn't specify extra weapons carried on the Leopotamus, but I'm going to assume they're toting around some stuff as extras.

I will be acquiring upgrades for the tank as we go on in this thread. The crew will be Strategically Transporting Equipment to Alternate Locations.@Massasauga

I could have put a lot more mods onto my tank, but I figured that I wanted to have something to build up to as we go, so I've kept it relatively minimal for now, and will get more exotic and complex as we go on. Especially since there's a lot of modifications and upgrades to the Leo 1 IRL.

Those are both excellent choices. 
If you're interested in an SPG, I always loved both the PzH 2000, and the South African G6 Rhino (which looks like a sci-fi vehicle!)

Name: Madeline 'Mad Maddy' Falkner
Age: 45
Gender/Sex: CIS Female
Appearance: A woman on the cusp of middle age, having lived an active and eventful life. She is lucky to have good genetics; with a distinguished face of small nose, almond-shaped eyes, and fine cheekbones. She has the marks of her life in the military and outdoors; some sunburn scarring, laughter lines and minor blemishes and marrs, but they add to her character, rather than reduce it. 'Beauty Spot' on her left cheek. Her eyes are intensely dark and warm, while being sharp and attentive. She has a fit, athletic frame of approximately 5' 6", and despite her maturity putting on some weight, still manages to remain in good fit and figure. Her hair is a rich, reddish-brown colour, with grey showing through; something she doesn't hide but embraces it. Hanging to her shoulderblades, she tends to keep it in a ponytail or plait for convenience. 
Nationality: English/German dual nationality.
Personal Outlook: Cool, calm, collected. A professional in her field. Has a wry sense of humour and a bit of a 'dark horse' fun side that comes out when she relaxes or gets comfortable. However, she does have slow-burning temper and can be utterly hellish and terrifying when it does boil over, which is the origin of her nickname.
History: 
Maddy was 'the big experiment' for the Bundeswehr; the first woman accepted to serve on the frontlines in an armoured vehicle squadron.
Seen as a big success, but the constant scrutiny and being in the spotlight was stressful for her; she just wanted to get on with her career.
Rough personal relationship and subsequent divorce, along with allegations and rumours from the press forced her out of the limelight, and the Bundeswehr.
Marriage resulted in Lucy, Her 5-year old (in the present) daughter; but her ex-husband, Marcus, has custody and does not allow Maddy to see her.
Maddy feels that she was never meant to be a parent, but still loves her daughter and wishes she could make up with her, and this is the source of much of her doubt, anger and uncertainty outside of her professional life.
Joined Shattered Steel to escape the hole of depression she'd dug herself into, and to give her a purpose and routine

Name: Jacob 'Leaky' Larson

Gender/Sex: CIS Male
Appearance: Good, rugged, and handsome features. Blue eyes, perma-stubble that only emphasises how perfect his jawline is. Athletic, and with a firm, fit build. Short, sandy-blonde hair and a disarming smile. 
Nationality: Australian
Personal Outlook: Jacob exudes confidence, and is equally aware of his good looks. He is capable of being quite charming, even coming across as boastful, cocky or arrogant at times and all backed up with a dazzling smile. Of course, like most people who behave like that, it is something of a cover and a front for deep-seated personal insecurities and paranoia. He is an excellent gunner, however, and despite his arrogant and almost shallow exterior, he cares deeply about the rest of the crew, seeing them as a replacement family for the one he never really had. 
He hates his nickname, but is resigned to it.
History: 
Jacob was orphaned as a child; he never knew his parents and they have made no attempt to contact him.
The orphanage he grew up in was rough, and he had a shitty childhood that lead to numerous problems, especially in later years where he and other kids would drift around the streets to avoid having to go back to the orphanage.
He ended up falling in with a bad crowd in his teenage years, and after a petty crime turned into something much more serious, he panicked and tried to escape that life, joining the Australian Army.
He found a sense of belonging in military service, the cameraderie and bonds he made with other people he worked and fought alongside making him feel at home, and he turned out to be an excellent soldier, and especially tank crewman.
However, his past caught up to him, and he was forced to flee again, this time joining Shattered Steel under (unknown to anyone but him) falsified records

Name: Milo 'Magpie' Chavez
Age: 32
Gender/Sex: CIS Male
Appearance: A short (5'3"), scrappy, wiry man of Latino descent and appearance, Milo has decent looks, albeit with a sort of scruffy, impish charm. This is especially evident with his almost gleaming green eyes and tan skin. His most notable feature is that the ring finger on his left hand is missing above the second knuckle. 
Nationality: Italian-Mexican dual nationality
Personal Outlook: Fast-talking, quick-witted and something of a confidence trickster and 'face man', Milo earned his nickname for being the kind of person who can find anything you need, as long as you don't mind not knowing where it came from. He is a compulsive gambler and a womaniser, and is given to telling stories of his many exploits - though, how many of them could be possibly true is entirely up for debate, but he does seem to - somehow - have a lot of people with grudges against him.
History: 
Joined the Mexican Army at 18
Part of armoured vehicle unit; tank operations
Left the army after the CAA was formed
Wandered and travelled worldwide for a few years, doing various jobs for hire
Joined Shattered Steel after being invited by a friend and former comrade

Name: Jeanie 'Genie' Morrow
Age: 34
Gender/Sex: Trans Female (MTF)
Appearance: Tall for a tank crewman and especially a driver; 6'3". Quite solid and muscular build, though still feminine and curvy. Dusky, honey-coloured skin and almost golden eyes. Black hair, worn short at the back and sides, but with longer, choppy, top. Full lips, has a pierced nose, lip and both ears in several places. Always seems to - somehow - have excellent makeup applied, especially eyeliner and mascara. 
Nationality: Canadian
Personal Outlook: Jeanie often seems surly, grumpy or distant; mainly due to her quietness. She generally doesn't speak a lot, but this is through personal preference - she has had a lot of problems in the past due to crossed words. As such, she reserves hers for when they make the most difference, and is surprisingly well-spoken and has a surprisingly mellifluous voice and her comments are intelligent, insightful and relevant - albeit, abrupt and no-nonsense. Her apparent lack of emotion actually masks a deep care, compassion and core of emotion that she will only show in moments of deep relevance and significance, and to those she is close to.
History: 
Joined the Canadian Defence Forces at age 21, after a few years of trying various things
Enjoyed working with vehicles, ended up in armoured unit
Served during the Heavenfall with distinction
Left after suffering PTSD from the trauma of the post-Heavenfall disasters
Transitioned after counselling and therapy
Wanted to go back to working with military vehicles; Enlisted in Shattered Steel
