Current The Wolfman (starring Lon Chaney Jr.), Silver Bullet, The Howling, and Dog Soldiers are all good werewolf movies, what are you on about?

@IAmTheIsland no, but you do get to brag that you pay good money for the privilege of- (checks notes) "entering a grocery store"...

@wheels depending on the context you can often get away with leaving the title for last. If you insist on a title while writing, a "working title" is a placeholder until you think of something better

Bio

Bios are stupid; oh, sure, everyone can see them, but I bet nobody reads them.

Rude hand gestures and shpadoinkle, there.

No, I wasn't drunk when I wrote this, but I was very tired.

What if "Attack on Titan" stayed the unique, apocalyptic horror story that made it cool, and didn't turn into... What it turned into -_-U?

That's the idea for this; cannibalistic giants somehow rapidly appeared all over the world, and because they basically operated like zombies (they can't be intimidated and never stop/go away), civilization crumbled. What remained of humanity was driven underground- staying out of sight was the only way to avoid Them. Resources are limited, though, and keeping the bunkers alive sometimes means sending people to the surface to scavenge among the ruins of the old world. Trade also became a quest unto itself; communications between the bunkers could be spotty, and many were understandably hesitant to risk venturing into the wilds just to see if the neighbors were home.

Victory isn't an option- the war for Earth was won, and it wasn't us. All that remains is to survive, and not get caught under-foot.

So, I guess another tl;dr could be "What if AoT was more like Fallout?"
anyway, I'm tentatively interested, making the group a hopeful 3!
<Snipped quote by SilverPaw>

About Lycanthropy: I've been thinking that a man becomes a werewolf when he is subject to an ancient curse - one that forces him to share his body with a vengeful animal spirit. Sometimes the conditions for the curse come about naturally, almost as a matter of fate. Others are born into the curse, for once it has taken hold, its effects are hereditary. Sharing a body with the animal spirit grants greatly enhanced perception, and a surplus of vitality. Bearers of the curse are healthy individuals, and due to its effects, their natural lifespan is roughly doubled. Werewolf families tend to keep large private hunting grounds to try and contain the evidence of their transformations. Those less fortunate might live on the run, haunted by their sins or dogged by investigators.

That might give you some things to consider as you think about a character.

Be wary of Irish Saints; at least two have supposedly cursed people to be werewolves o_OU although historically werewolves have also had a more mixed reputation in the region, so, who knows what to expect?
More than once in my younger years I tried to do one that was very "syfy presents"; I simply called it "Androids vs Vampires", and it was more like "What if Screamers(1994ish) but on earth and they're fighting vampires too"

Your idea is already much better thought out, I meant no insult
So, WoD (World of Darkness) if it also had Terminator... Could be fun. I've certainly had worse ideas :P
I find myself with time, so here's a silly idea I had a few weeks ago.

Through some mix up, an alien animal dealer was looking for crites (critters), but gets mogwai by mistake.

At the same time, a bounty hunter team docks their vessel at the same station, transporting crites around the same time that the mogwai have gotten loose, and metamorphosed into gremlins.

The gremlins, in their mischief and curiosity, release the crites.

Shenanigans ensue, with the people aboard the station caught in the middle and unable to flee the station.
@NeziulYeah, that occurred to me a little while after posting that, so, dumb question.

@Pinkmadness Anyway, thanks, but I'm going to stay out of this one. Good luck, and have fun!
Can we assume something is keeping them there? Like, a lot of popular characters can fly
Well, I was thinking more of like Lost -series thing in here...survival, and mysteries to be found...This is an island that nobody knows everything about, so the deeper you walk, the more you find. Maybe you find a civilization, or maybe you fall into a hidden hole and die...

That's a good point; I got so hung up on the fandom thing I forgot you did, in fact, define a setting ^_^U
Honestly, I've never seen a Fandom Free-for-all survive long. I'll spare you the lecture on good writing, because this is not a place for literature, regardless of how some people choose to write(or try to).

What I will share is the benefit of my experience, and thus a warning: Trying to please everyone ultimately pleases noone, and wherever chaos (such as a setting with no clear rules or themes) is an option, chaos will thrive; if you make adhering to the setting, following your rules, optional? They won't.
