I am a fan of a lot of Gainax's work. ^^;

...For the curious, my top five anime are Excel Saga, Gunbuster, Gurren Lagann, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Kino's Journey (which looks really out of place seeing the first four but hey). And... End of Evangelion is my favourite movie even if saying so makes me look kind of pretentious. ^^;

...Aw man, but as much as I love Kill La Kill I don't think it's one of my absolute favourites... But that's because I'm old and the most recent of the absolute favourites is almost ten years old. ^^; Mind you, was basically made by the same people who did Kill La Kill so I supposed that has to count for something. XD

@ghastlyIncFunnily enough, all the people I know who watch Highschool DxD are girls. ^^;

But eh, my main reason for not being keen on all the overly fanservice heavy shows lately is because either they're weak shows that try to distract people from this fact with ZOMGBOOBS!, or they're decent shows that end up getting looked down on because of all the fanservice kind of detracting from their positive traits. Fanservice itself isn't necessarily a bad thing, but sweet bloody hell there are so many anime coming out lately that are basically just watered down hentai (and some of them aren't even as well written as some hentai I've read but I ain't going to go into detail on that little nugget).

Also Railgun is fantastic. And MISAKA is the 20,000 best characters. :D

Edit 2: Or are we talking about the monster girl show? Cause no yeah thats straight up soft core. I mean, I liked the show (in part because I find the awkward way harem shows handle that kind of thing aboslutely hilarious).
