Satilla Valen

Location: Yellow Rose Temple
Interacting With: Group at the temple.

This was weird. The man was weird one, Satilla had no idea what to make of him. The way he carried himself and the way he talked to them and Keystone. She suddenly blushed in embarrassment when he kind of started sounding like he was scolding them for not introducing themselves. The witch felt so bad about it, she had been so intrigued by the man and Keystone's connection that she forgot her manners.

β€œPlease forgive my bad manners.” She said, making a half official bowl.” My name's Satilla Valen, I'm a witch, follower of the path of good.” Satilla explained, hoping her profession wouldn't cause her to be attacked or thrown out the temple.” I'm proficient with medical treatments and healing magic.” She explained her abilities with a smile.

β€œI've never seen anything like this.” She added when they started explaining Sana's condition.” After her initial healing was successful, stabilizing her condition and pulling her out of the grave danger, all magical healing attempts seem to backfire.” She explained, explaining all she noticed about her condition while she was examining and treating her on the road.” I've tried a number of medications also, some just to aid her recovery, some to relieve pain.” She then explained every little herb, every medicine she had prepared for Sana.

"I didn't dare trying to use a healing hex after I saw how normal healing magic backfired." She added.

Amelia Payne

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center) β†’ Building C2 (Franklin Inner Wall Amelia's Apartment) .

'No CD player... huh?' Was the expression Amelia made. She didn't say anything, but her face said it all instead. Now that was a huge bummer. Dick caused another huge problem, why wasn't she surprised about that? Not that she'd say anything, but still... He was a mess a very unstable mess waiting to go critical and blow up, causing huge devastation. A random thought appeared in Amelia's mind while she was thinking about him, she thought of nitroglycerin. It was oddly appropriate.

β€œYeah... making up thing to play on at the last minute... won't work.” Amelie chimed in agreeing with Chloe on this one.” It will sound bad and even if it's passable people won't be used to them...” She added, quietly, still searching, but without much success. Yeah appears they'd have maybe pass on musical instruments. Here was the next thing to look out on runs for.

β€œYeah, see you soon, Chloe...” Amelia managed to bring herself to say rather loudly for her. She was trying to be more open to people... Not always successful, but babysteps! Little by little... hopefully.

β€œOf course!” She suddenly replied to Riley the moment she heard the other girl talk, surprising herself with that even. Amelia was actually a little proud of herself on this one, but frankly she had it a lot easier to talk with and communicate with Riley for some reason. Maybe the fact they were incredibly close friends helped... or maybe they turned into best friends because of it. She wasn't sure. Happily, Amelia quickly moved to catch up in a moment with Riley and then walk together towards the building that was their home.

When they arrived and went to their apartments, Amelia went to her wardrobe and pulled a big bundle from it. It was something she had secured a while back and wrapped it in paper and an old tattered blanket to keep it safe. It was a black dress that she kept for very special occasion. Seems like this occasion had just arrived. Carefully she put it on and went by the edged rugged mirror she had to brush her hair. 'I look... fine.. right?' She thought to herself, unsure of what to think. She never really dressed like this before.

Finally when she was sort of sure that all was set, she pulled her jacket and left her place, moving over to where Riley lived, knocking on the door.” Riley, you still...here?” She asked kind of shyly, trying to get her voice to cooperate with mister brain and agreeing with miss heart to ask Riley to be her date for the wedding. Attempting to do this was a first for Amelia and it was something she had no idea what to say.” I was wondering if you'd want me to wait you so we walk together... I..ahm... will... I was ready and I wanted... β€œ She was talking fast, kind of dragging herself in a circle, unable to directly say it. She was just bright as tomato, waiting by the door, hoping Riley somehow hopefully magically gets the idea what she was trying to say so she can stop attempting to say this.' Damn.. I should at least say it!' She thought and shook her head.

β€œWill you be my date...?” Amelia asked with very quiet voice in the end, looking down at her shoes.
*Is slowly writing a post out, laughing like a madman for some reason* Gona be ready in a lil bit.
@SgtEasy In my opinion if they don't fix the facial animations the game is worth it even if only to see the hilarity and have a good time laughing your brains out, but can't talk on the story and gameplay since I don't own the game. Still I want to play it!
MUhahahaha posted lol.
Salissa was sitting quietly on top of a ruined building. It was leveled nearly to the ground, but it still provided an elevated location. Her hair was blowing on the wind along with her tattered cape as she just sat there looking calmly at the horizon. This was the worst day she's had since the end of the war. Her fingers twitched as she looked at her cybernetic hands. She could still see the dust from the ruined building on her palms and fingers.

After they were dismissed, she had dashed to the building that had crumbled from their 'adventures' underground to aid in the still ongoing rescue operations. That was a living nightmare she wished never to relive from the war, but sure enough it had happened. She was helping for a while until the work got too fine for her to provide any aid. They required machinery and precision that she couldn't provide so only after that she left, having provided all help she could have... for all it was worth. Now here she sat, the time for the gathering slowly approaching. She had time though, so much time to decide if it was worth it to join in whatever next crazy task they'd have for them. She had her goal to fall behind instead of joining if she wished, but... if she didn't join, would she be able to look herself in the eyes afterwards?

β€œYou appear like you have something heavy on your mind.” She heard a male voice and turned slightly. It was a familiar man, a priest from one of the churches in the area. She'd seen him a few times, they'd talk every now and then. Mostly about her helping him with preaching about tolerance and break up possible smaller fights, not to mention searching for lost children and other minor tasks whenever she wasn't on duty. In fact they met for the first time when she brought a lost child to the church since the priests had better understanding of the people in the area.” Is it connected to the tragic incident from earlier?” He asked and she sighed.

β€œYeah... sort of.” She replied, placing a hand on her forehead.” Things were bad... would have been a lot worse if the explosions underground didn't happen.” Salissa added with sad voice.” Horrors people liked to forget would have surfaced, but... despite all it doesn't make it any better... when in the end you go to help dig out those who remain missing with the hope of them surviving by a miracle... Damn... this is just one huge cosmic joke... a joke on the level of a greek tragedy.”

β€œPeople in the past often used to say it's all part of god's plan, Salissa.” The priest said, throwing a look at her.” There's rarely such a thing as a perfect outcome. Maybe this truly was meant to happen as it did... We can only find peace in the lives that were saved...”

β€œMan, you are terrible at this.” She replied finally with a smile and stood up.” Why is it that priests in real life never hold all the right answers like in the movies?” Salissa asked turning and looking at him.” Still thanks for showing up, be careful from now on. I will be leaving Earth... won't be around to scatter those vermin that try to sow discord around your church anymore, but do send me a message if something happens and you need help. I will find a way... we can let evil dance around unchecked.” She said and reached for a handshake which the man took.” Been a pleasure knowing you.” She stated and moved to leave.

β€œSame here, Salissa. Take care of yourself out there. We need every good person, so don't get killed.” The man replied and caused her to give out a small laugh as she jumped down a few concrete chunks.

After that, Salissa quickly returned to the Alliance housing she was arranged to stay at. It wasn't anything special and frankly she didn't even have any real luggage to grab. Hell all her belonging practically fit in a small doufflebag, All she had beside her armor and her weapons, was a set of clothes, a pair of shoes and her toiletries. With those secured and prepared she just passed by the armory to restock on thermal clips and to get her shield batteries recharged.

Finally, after all preparations were done, she grabbed her bag and left for the meeting place, grabbing a helmet on her way out the base. She'd need it, so she simply hooked it on a magnetic buckle, ready to be used at a later time.” Metropolitan Police Station... huh.” She mumbled heading in that direction. Salissa wondered if there were some who were there already... Well she'd see when she arrives.
