Hey I watched castlevania and got sort of inspired by it and darkest dungeon art...! I didn't really do too good of a job though xD Need a lot of finishing xD
@Grec A headcount haven't seen one of those in a while xD
The Olde now that was a forsaken land if she ever saw one. Alliana quietly looked out the carriage as they neared the hamlet of Ash. Well calling it a hamlet might be an overstatement in her opinion. The place was as rotten away and broken as the rest of these lands. Truthfully there wasn't much hope for this settlement in her opinion. She even found it rather surprising people were still living here, judging by the faint light coming from some windows.

As the carriage had pulled to a halt, she picked her sword and hopped outside with the rest of the people she rode with. A woman templar and a priest of Shee'l Tor of all things. The irony was not escaped on the vampire's mind. In difference from the rest though, she didn't hold any special feelings towards the priest. She simply didn't care about it. She knew the priests were not necromancers, but that was a story for a different time. With her backpack on her back and her sword on her hip she didn't carry much other luggage. The edges of her dress were now getting dirty and wet from the bad weather and the frankly dirty streets. Well it was her fault for dressing in it really. She was going to have to change into her adventuring attire proper before they get anywhere later.

She kept on smiling as Sir Arthur Chastibul appeared and called her a dirty halfbreed. Which while true... was not the way to address someone you just met and someone who's going to fight for you that is. The priest received even less of a good welcome than herself which she found absolutely hilarious. Seriously that were your guards? Two farmers with farming tools? She sighed as they moved towards his office. At least one of the men appeared to have a grasp of not messing with priests be they of Shee'l Tor or not.

“Any words you have will be wasted upon those who don't want to hear them, priest.” She said quietly, not really caring about it much though. As such Alliana simply pulled the hem of her dress a little as to keep it from get it any more dirty while they were getting to the office of this 'fine' gentleman.

“Piece of advice though, get someone to straighten the blade upwards. A battle scythe as they call it... It should at least make your guards more effective. The undead aren't some weeds you need to cut.” She threw in a remark towards Sir Arthur with a smirk.” Unless that is the case and you have no need for us?” She didn't really like his attitude from earlier.
HOORAYYYYYYYYYYY! *pulles hte bottle of champagne and hurls it at the nearby wall*
With a smile on her face, Vala worked with immense passion! She cut cables, connected new ones, pulled connectors and bypassed systems. As the passage of time continued, the whole hallway had been covered with cables, with almost the entirety of the sections' systems being directly tied to the main controls without any pesky middle stations. She even took the time to rewrite part of the command code to add a patented boost to it, making it work a quarter faster!

“ALRIGHT PEOPLE, CHOP CHOP! MOVE AWAY FROM THE BULKHEAD!” She shouted, waving a hand to the people who were about.” YOU THERE MOVE AWYA FROM THE CABLES! DO YOU WANT TO BE DEEP FRIED!?” She continued until it was finally time to put it all in practice!

“Vala here, I'm about to connect the damaged section to the mainframe! Prepare for immediate warnings!” She called over the radio as she flicked the big switch she had tied everything to. With the distinctive hum of energy surging, everything in the hallway came to life. Lights lit up, the cable's signaling devices also lit up to indicate power. The warnings systems booted right again since the time they were frozen during the attack, but with some quick button fiddling the alarms fell silent as the huge bulkhead started opening!

“Welp, that's done finally~” She said and took a deep breath, gathering her tools.

“What is this...?” A voice came.” The machine spritis!!!”

“Ehhh...” Vala made a confused sound and shrugged, taking her tool case and simply leaving the hallways before she was discovered, heading back towards the celestian.

“Job's done! Supplies are secured and the whole cut of section's once more under control!” She reported a job well done(in her own personal opinion that was).” All sensors and the like should be back up too. Just don't have people walk and step on the cabling... the cables will survive, not sure about hte humans who step on them though.”
@Paradoxial *pulls and prepares the bottle of champagne for the grand opening*
Chambala

"Sure, Rebecca." The fur clad woman replied with a smile and a nod." I actually would love to learn more!" She stated as they were heading towards the inn. She was open to learning, doubted she'd understand absolutely everything that her new friend would talk about, but hey even a little learned could help, also one never knew where inspiration might struck. A casual remark from her might inspire Rebecca in the future to reach her own ideas.

"Well, I too have something I want to show you that I think you will find really interesting actually." Chambala said eventually to Rebecca with a sly smile, hinting that she was going to show her something special." I haven't shown it to anyone still, but I get the feeling you'd benefit from seeing it so might as well show you later." She explained as they were entering the inn.

"We need 2 rooms!" She stated to the innkeeper when they were inside." One for hte two of us and one for him." She explained, pointing to herself and Rebecca and indicating the single room was for the suspicious fella with the hood.
