Location: P7Y-496: Village

The staff blasts flew and impacted the ship as they did. It was really unnerving to listen to it from inside the ship. At least staffs didn't cause that much damage, but they had little time before either an alkesh bomber arrived or the Jaffa brought a bigger weapon. Flynn shot a few random times with one hand as he heard Cassandra call for them to close the hatch and so he did, slumping down on the floor once relative safety was had." God dammit, Tok'Ra! You could have left via the stargate before this mess even started! This is why people dislike working with you guys!" He cursed loudly in pain.

"If I left the ship they would notice it... now leave us to concentrate." Kahlan replied without being angry or affected as she was still working in tandem with the human. Finally after a few more moments the rest of the crystals were removed, finally the annoying sounds of the device stopped." This is it!" The alien agent stated and dashed for the ship's controls, starting the engines as the ship lifted off the ground." We will need to leave orbit to open a hyperspace window..." She explained while Flynn was still holding and standing the pain.

"Crystal, help me bandage up... Those were some good shots by the way." He called, holding the wound. Luckily staff blasts didn't bleed, but the burnt state of the injury didn't make it any better." Hey, do you have one of those healing thingies with ya?" Flynn called in some hope, but his hopes were quickly broken by the negative reply he recieved." Alright, Cass, go keep an eye in the cockpit... and for the love of god make her pilot this thing better. What's she doing for a spaceship to be this bumpy?"

More and more people were arriving at the room where the injured Plum was located at. She was frankly amazed that so many suddenly were displaying even some degree of concern when just a little while ago, most didn't seem to care or gather much enthusiasm to help. She saw the guy who was speaking as a doctor as he barked orders for the place to be cleared of people. Well that was fine she supposed. Rave nodded as she hurried to walk over to the doctor to hand him what she procured.” These are clean linens that could be used as bandage. I grabbed these in a hurry, but if more are required I will go grab a few more...” She added as she had finished her task.

Rave looked at Penance, she was distracted, but after a moment realized what she had to say.” Prima Rave, Milady. And how should I address you?” She asked, wanting to learn for sure how to call the woman. Well it wasn't a critical need, but it was going to be a good thing to know.

β€œNo need to be as forceful and menacing... right? I'm leaving...” She asked Titian and started heading for the doorway of the Breakfast room again. It was time to leave the people here to do their thing. She didn't really like the brute thinking man's well way of acting right now. He didn't seem too bad, but yeah. She briefly noted that Plum stopped rhyming. With that curiosity noted, she walked back into the Breakfast room.

She sighed once the door closed behind her and started walking again, heading for the Grand Vestibule. It was time to go see where this Masquerade will properly take place. Presumably the big Ballroom was further in the mansion. Rave guessed it was time to head there.

World Narrative

Group One: Heda and Fabios. Location:Edge of Grand Plain and Forest(???)For Fabios's attack, the second grounded elf managed to block it partially, protecting his vitals, but the following shoulder slam, send him back on the ground, groaning painfully. The other riders were getting ever more enraged. For night elves these guys didn't seem to be any different from a group of enraged orcs! They and their mounts all roared as they encircled the two outlanders. One of the huge cats pounced at Fabios, but it's rider fell off his saddle, pulling the reigns and causing the cat to veer to the left hitting another saber instead. Despite that the enemies were still many and strong as a arrow flew just by his very head, leaving a thin trace of blood on his cheek, numbness spreading from the cut.

Avol. Location:Edge of Forest(???) The sounds of battle are pulling him way further away from his camp. There's the end of the treeline in the near distance, but if he goes to check it out, he could find himself exposed without his trusty hired muscle. What he could see through the treeline out in the plain is the crackle and blue flashes of lightning.

Group Two: Ivaron, Quiana and Gronar. Location: Ancient Forest(???) With the orc down, a second veil of moonlight fell upon him, sapping any left over energy to fight as the riders hurried to tie him up in sturdy enchanted ropes. The leader of the guards who had caught them, silently listened to what Quiana and Ivaron were saying, his eyebrows locked in a suspecting manner.

β€œThe three of you are under arrest! We shall bring you to Lord Ravencrest. He shall be the one to decide what to do with you. Even you, kinswoman. Leading unknown creature into our lands! Tie them up, we shall lead them to Suramar where they could be properly detained.” The man stated as two of the riders hopped off their sabers to tie the Druid and the Mage with ropes that had a magical glow to them. They would seal the magic of the prisoners until a proper confinement was reached. Thus the prisoners were being put on sabers for faster transport.” You better stay put, ….” The man started to say to Gronar, but didn't really have an idea what the orc was.” Any other problems and I don't mind bringing your head. WE've already have more prisoners to interrogate.”

β€œYou, where did you learn the magical arts?” The hooded night elf who had proven himself to be a magician asked Ivaron, having sensed the arcane aura from him. This was baffling him, cause he could quite clearly sense a good refinement of the magic skills in the human.

Unknown by all, except Quiana, a presence was observing them all from the shadows of the forests. It was a familiar presence she felt. One she had not done so in years. An ancient presence, a kind, but ferocious protector of the wild. She felt the presence of Cenarius. He was not there in his physical form, but she clearly saw his face forming on the nearby bushes. He didn't say anything, but had a clearly curious expression, studying the druid.

Heda Runeclaw

Location: Edge of Ancient Forest and Plain(???)

The enemies jumped them fast and furious, as another saber also pounced on her again, she defended with her axe, smashing the beast's head in like she had done once already, the lightning of the weapon shocking the rider as he tumbled on the ground. She roared as she was about to hit the man, but an arrow came flying and hit a part of her armored gountlet, but the next arrow flew true and struck her right in the shoulder. She felt a searing pain and a weird numbing sensation as her hand was losing it's strength!” Poisoned arrows! Cowardly Dogs!” She roared and used her other arm to pull out the arrow, but the damage was done, her main hand was incapacitated.

Instead she used her still working hand to clothesline a night elf right off his panther as he dashed past her. You could hear his neck cracking and once he was on the ground, his head was turned in a weird angle, his eyes unmoving... a dead stare into nothingness. In the next moment a saber suddenly bit her working hand from behind and managed to drag her down on the ground as some more joined to maw and claw at her limbs.

Exiting her room, Mosi found everything pretty much the same way as when she entered it a few moments earlier. There was still people being active about the commotion out in the water and there were those doing their jobs. She nodded silently to herself as she patted her shirt , stretched her arms and neck a little and started walking towards the stairs leading to the main deck so she can go check what exactly the situation there was. She wondered if they had already pulled the poor fellow from the water or something.

Just as she reached the coveted stairs, a thought weaved it's way into her mind.' Wonder what that burnt smell was all about?' She recalled as she halted her walk mid step and turned around to sniff the air. Sadly for her, she found no trace of it."Too bad... Maybe next time." Mosi sighed as she put a hand on her hip and shook her head in a little sadness. She should have checked it back then, now who knew if she was ever going to find what it was about. Though to be fair she did feel really tired then, she still was, but with this commotion going on, it was hard to sleep.

Without any other choice for an amusement and mystery solving, she headed back to the stairs, reaching them. She was going to have to make do with the fun of seeing how the rescue works were going. Mosi was really curious as of how whomever it was ended into the water. She might even try to make friends with them to get the story.

Eventually after the searches they finally got into the bus. Amelia was still a tad nervous about it, but she had to admit that having AC was a blessing. She couldn't quite remember the last time she had a ride as comfortable as this! She was smiling at Riley the entire time, but her attention still wandered to the surroundings around and their hosts mostly. She still wasn't sure if trusting these people was a good decision.

Eventually they finally had arrived at their destination. It all seemed and sounded a little bit too good to be true. She observed the dead city by the window and eventually spotted also the wall. That was an impressive wall. She gulped as they were getting closer to it. From the windows you could spot people on patrol on it. Amelia really wasn't a fan of being defenseless here, despite what that Daytona woman was saying. Actually her little speech about acceptance rates made her frown ever more. The mere fact they could be separated because of some demand by these people.

As the bus was moving into the staging area in the wall, Amelia gulped as her hands sought Riley's and held it tightly. She was nervous as she heard the driver speak. She looked at Riley.” It's going to be fine... right? We will be staying together no matter what?” Amelia asked with a near whisper, clearly stressed out now. The worst scenarios were crushing her and the lack of proper explanation wasn't helping her little paranoia settle down. They were inside the wall now, there wouldn't be any escape from here on. She could only hope this place wouldn't turn out to be Eden or even worse...

Constantin Kolev

Location: Regalia's Ship – Lower Deck(sleeping)

Right about now the fire walker had no idea he was in the land of dreams and things were being rather interesting. Constantin was standing on the deck of the ship which was weirdly straight and upright. Especially when you consider the fact the entire ocean had evaporated under the mighty heat of his fire walking! With that the number one problem of deep water had went away. The ocean floor was to him an endless field of sand and rocks. After all he had never studied or heard what it's like down there. The closest his mind had to work with was riverbeds.

All was good so far except he still wasn't alone here. The ship crew was now milling about carrying ropes and chests and shovels. Weirdly enough Vlad was the one leading them now for some reason. He had a big tricorn hat and an eyepatch. Which Constantin mused was probably the reason why dream Vlad was faceplanting into walls and ground left and right. Then there was the Rusalka Veta who was frankly dressed too revealingly.. well dressed was a strong word for it. Her wet hair was just covering her body in weirdly precise manner. She was still riding Myska, but the tiger had seaweed hair and pearl necklace for some reason. Then there was the fact that Veta was riding the tiger to jump on the flying fishes that were still moving around despite the water being gone.” … Whaaaaa ... ?β€œ He was speechless frankly.

Just as he was about to call out to Veta he suddenly heard a familiar voice of dream Vlad he finally stood up from the ground his nose dripping blood. Then everything around picked up a song.” Shiver my timbers, shiver my soul, Yo ho, heave ho...” And it was literally everything, the flying fishes, myshka, Vlad, hell even the ship was somehow singing. It made him nearly jump and seeing it all singing made him want to run away from the weirdness.

He watched in amazement while Rusalka Veta led the impromptu pirate Vlad and crew procession off to somewhere with the singing chests filled with alcohol, meat and gold. It's important to mention Vlad faceplanted into a big rock almost right away, but didn't stop singing!

Getting to Olivia's place took a little bit longer than she had planned, but she arrived eventually. She took also a little bit of time to find a parking spot in the area, bu that too got sorted out eventually. Finally out of her car, she started walking to the front door of Olivia's building. She had more or less memorized the adress. With a happy smile she walked confidently to the front door and pulled her phone.' I'm by the building's entrance. Should I wait for you here or is entrance into the buildings free and I could directly come over?' She typed quickly and send he message to her friend.

While waiting for a reply, she stretched and loosed the top button of her uniform. This was probably the first time she actually showed herself to Olivia in an uniform. The cop wondered how her friend will react to it. Still, for the moment, she allowed herself to focus on the minds of those passing by as of to kill time. By now she had more or less developed a habit of reading peoples' minds a lot. It came almost as breathing did to her. That and it was truly amusing and fun to know what people were thinking about. Though sometimes admittedly she tended to learn more than she wanted. Still fun though.

Amelia had listened to Riley as the other spoke. She was breathing deeply in an attempt to regain her composure, but it wasn't going swimingly. She nodded to Riley as the other woman left and Amelia quickly started splashing water onto her face. This was getting absurd after all. She was a little bit of an introvert, but she did like hanging out and even enjoyed an outing on occasion. What's more she did promise Fumiko so she HAD to go.

"Alright... get a hold of yourself. You can do this!" Amelia said to herself looking at herself in the mirror." You haven't lost control since you moved in with Riley... It will be fine!" She mumbled and splashed some more water on her face. As for keeping Fumiko safe at their home now, she was going to be careful. If she ever felt her powers activating, she was going to lock herself in the bathroom or something. That could work! It had to work!

Finally calm again or at least as calm as she could be given the stressed out condition, she returned back to Riley and Fumiko." So... did I miss anything?" She quietly asked, adjusting a little her now a wet bangs because off all the water she splashed on her face.

Rave passed by people who were heading into the music room when she entered the breakfast room. It was Moss and that woman, she wasn't quite sure exactly the name off. Was it Penance? She was reasonably sure that was the answer actually. She wasn't willing to bet her head on it though. She had met too many people in this place now and all of them were hiding under fake names, but then again she was too... right? Well that was all aside the point now. A thought weaved into her head now, if they died here, would anyone even know what happened to them outside this manor?” Shouldn't think about that...” She mumbled to herself and walked to the table where the linens were located.

White clean cloths that were so casually used to have people wipe their dirty hands and faces after a meal... So much wealth wasted onto something so simple... She frowned as she picked up 2 pieces of the napkins, just in case one was not quite enough! This was important as she had finally secured them, she turned around and walked to the door towards the music room and walked through.

β€œI bring the linens for the injury! You haven't gotten worse, right?!” She called out, throwing a look at the people in the room now and Plum in specific, as she showed the white cloths to him with hopeful expression on her face, that was mostly hidden underneath the mask though. She noticed he appeared to have taken off the shoe!

These had been some weird messed up few days, Mosi mused to herself as she laid down om her bed and stretched her arms out. A lot more action packed than what she imagined too! She wondered if that was because it was Egypt where the world differed a lot than the a lot more prude Europe and fun States of America. She didn't feel as comfortable in Europe as she did here despite all the crazy going on. She didn't mind the weirdness, she actually enjoyed it!

Running a hand across her stomach, wincing at the pain from the brand, she vaguely thought as of what she would say to her family if they ever ask about it. An artistic expression maybe? Well she was planning on getting some tattoos eventually and the brand would go well with those. Life was short and she was beginning to think that she should hurry that up! Maybe when they arrive, she was going to search for someone to put the tattoos on her. For now though it appeared sleeping wasn't going to be quite possible with all this noise, thus she decided to for an enthusiastic nightly walk around the ship!

In a relaxed manner she stood up from the bed, took off the night gown and put on her pants and shirt combo for better walking around at somewhat chilly night combo. Once that was on, she pulled her ticket and keys and the like and walked out the door of her room.

Location: P7Y-496: Village

The firefight was short and fierce. Flynn's shots were really precise and he easily took down 3 jaffa with burst fire while they were retreating backwards to the ship. Crystal's shots were a lot less accurate, but effective never the less! She had managed to also hit 3 jaffa, but only two of them really fell right away. One only started holding his wounded shoulder and sumbled for cover before he started haphazardly attemp to fire again. The staff weapon blasts were flying inches away from them, causing loud noises as they hit the ground and buildings. They were fighting pretty zealouslyy, these jaffa." Crystal, just retreat to the ship!" Flynn ordered and threw his last grenade. There was barely any effect as all the jaffa dashed away from it and not even a single one was caught in the blast, but it did buy them more time to retreat!

Just as they were to reach the ship, a staff blast whizzed menacingly and hit him right in the shoulder, sending Flynn tumbling on the ground, by the entrance of the ship, cursing loudly as he was trying to stand up. Instead he rolled over and hurriedly managed to sand up just to jump into the ship.

Inside t he ship Cassanda and Kahlan were rapidly removing crystals from the bomb, managing to remove half of them by the time the other 2 members of the team showed up on the doorstep. Staff blast started hitting the hull, but the ship was holding strong. There was just a single problem with the whole thing, the bomb seemed to rapidly be heading towards exploding as the symbols on the sides were changing at a great pace!" Focus! We are half done!" The Tok'Ra stated as she had heard the curses and the way Flynn had cried out, recognizing that he had probably been hit. But if they didn't disable this, they were all going to die!
