I think I might join. The only reason I won't is if the post in the IC are long. I'm not super good with writing long posts and if other write long ones I'll feel like I'm lagging everyone behind. But this definitely looks awesome so even if the post length is just over my comfort level I'll still join and go out of my comfort zone.

Real name: Patrick Raggenford

Hero Name: Ton

Powers: He was turned into a hulk like creature through tests giving him super strength, increased size (was six feet tall and is now nine feet tall), whole new personality,increased agility and is able to leach heat from things. He also does not need air for quite a while and can keep himself together in the void of space but he can still be killed by possibly a heavy duty armour piercing bullet.

Appearance: Patrick has Caucasian skin while Ton has very dark turquoise skin. His hair is black and short.

History: Patrick was born a while before the uprise of the villains and was about ten or so when the villains took over. He was slow to change to the new way of life but he became hardened by the new world he lived in after a few years. When he was seventeen he had begun robbing people in order to get enough money to buy medicine for his sick mother. His mother passed on due to lack of medical attention but he continued to steal long after the passing of his mother. He began to assault people to who wouldn't give up their valuables. Eventually he began to be able to live the good life and even had his own gang of thieves.
Life was good for Patrick but he craved more power. The power that the superhuman dictators possessed so when he heard there was some experiments going on to try and recreate past heroes into a new villainous militia he jumped at the opportunity. Patrick was given a jumpsuit and a metal belt when he got there. He was told to go wait in a room down the hall for the tests to begin. He waited in the room for a few minutes before one of the walls pulled away showing something that looked like a laser which shot a blinding green light into the room. The pain was intense like your insides were burning and freezing at the same time and with every scream from Patrick he began to change. His skin colour, size and muscle mass changed and once it was all over and the light stopped he was now slumped over on the floor as a hulking beast. One of the scientist who had been operating the laser like device activated the gamma absorption belt (or GAB for short) but rather than siphoning all the gamma energy out of Patrick it couldn't handle the levels that had been put inside him and failed to do its job. Soon the beast that had once been Patrick got up from its slump and began to destroy the entire facility in rage. After reducing the facility to rubble the beast now known as Ton ran off into hiding.

Personality: Patrick is very head strong and cocky. He's always sure of himself and will often deny if he's done something wrong. He will resort to dirty tricks and will run away from a fight rather than actually fight. Ton on the other hand is courageous (or just stupid) and very humble though this isn't always seen due to his limited intelligence and vocabulary. Basically he's a kinda gentle giant.

Affiliation: Hero/Thug

Equipment: His belt is able to absorb energy (primarily gamma radiation) which was originally supposed to be used to revert Patrick back to his original form but it wasn't enough to conceal all his energy.
