One day, Victoria Helstrom was whisked into a whirlwind romance beyond her dreams, wooed and seduced by a charismatic, charming gentleman. Their affair was passionate, but inevitably short-lived, and soon Victoria was left alone with infant twins, brother and sister, Daimon and Ana. Life from then on would be difficult, but manageable, and while they had their differences as individuals, the three held firm as a family, taking care of each other and holding love between them.
Then Daimon and Ana turned eighteen, and everything changed. Dark, powerful magic awakened within them both, and their father suddenly reappeared, not having aged a day in the near two-decades since he'd abandoned them, and he returned with momentous news: his human form was a mere illusion, and in truth he was the King of Hell, Satan, The Devil Himself, and he had come to claim Daimon and Ana and grant them their birthright as heirs to the demonic throne. Victoria, for her part, was driven mad, and while Ana - who had dreamed of achieving greatness her entire life - was more than happy to welcome such incredible power, Daimon held nothing but contempt for this presumptuous creature who had invaded his mother's life so many years ago, just to abandon his family and only return to tear it asunder once again. Unlocking his powers of magic and hellfire, Daimon waged considerable battle against his father - eventually, the demon conceded, returning to Hell without Daimon, but with Ana by his side.
In the fallout, Daimon devoted himself to occult investigation, seeking how to strike back at his father and return his sister to Earth, and in the process discovered that his father wasn't Satan at all. Instead, the pool of demons who could have sired him was broad indeed, and whoever his father really was had merely impersonated Satan in a bid to falsely fulfil the prophecy of an Antichrist, who would overthrow the ruler of Hell. Daimon and Ana had merely been pawns in a foolish game of demonic politics, and Daimon cared very little for it.
Now, Daimon works as a freelance investigator, dealing in small personal matters and occult cases, while on the side he continues his research into his true father and the safe return of his sister. Uninterested in his 'birthright' and the machinations of devils, he has little patience for the denizens of Hell who continue to pester him, or indeed anyone in general.

Daimon was certain, more than anything previously in his still-short life, that turning eighteen wasn't supposed to entail almost any of the things that his eyes currently beheld.
The room in front of him was aflame, the walls painted with an eerie orange glow from the fires that crawled along the floor and up the walls. The blaze was already spilling from the doorframe into the upper-story landing, and soon after the entire house would be alight in an inferno that would claim nearly everything Daimon held dear to his heart; the only thing left unscathed would be Victoria, his devoted mother, but even she would be warped into a shell of the strong, steadfast women he had felt protected by his entire childhood. Within the room - his sister's room, he recalled, distinctly remembering watching the various posters and photos curling up from the corners as the flames licked at the paper.
A dark circle appeared to be burned into the floorboards, and on it stood the twisted, hellish creature that had once masqueraded as Daimon's father, a rippling figure of red flesh and stained bone. Multiple eyes, mismatched and strewn across a misshapen face that was more of beast than of man, narrowed in seething rage against his erstwhile heir. In one clawed hand the fiend held Ana, Daimon's sister, clothes scorched and face stained with tears and smoke, hanging limp in the devil's clutches.
Daimon's chest burned bright with a newly-branded pentagram, and he moved his hand to scoop out another gout of fire and heft it in his hand; the weight felt good, and the heat was a pleasant warmth against his palm, despite the warped air he could see emanating around it. He looked at his once-father; he looked at Ana, unconscious and injured; he thought of his mother, catatonic on the street. The flame ignited a brilliant blue, and he hurled the blast at the demon full-force.
This was the last thing Daimon could remember of that fateful night - the fire, his mother, Ana, all struck low by the catastrophe wreaked by an infernal devil; a devil whom, mere hours previous, had posed as their father, attempting to woo them away from their home. He had promised power, wealth, longevity, but when Daimon and Ana had protested - had put to him his failure as a father - had decried his apathetic abandonment of them and their mother - he had determined that he would take by force what they would not submit to him willingly. In the end, his father's return only served to tear asunder completely what Daimon had managed to repair in the nearly two decades since his departure: his family.
Daimon worked freelance now, his mother institutionalized, his sister abducted, no structure or alliances left to depend on. He survived, many a dark night spent pondering why - but the answer was always the same: in search of his father. In search of his sister. In search of revenge.

Abelle D'Voire - Roman's bug girl. Tragically taken over by the transformation and now sequestered in a classified, off-limits, cordoned-off portion of the island, tracked and kept in check by a specialist HIT Taskforce who are a joint containment and research unit, working in patrols out of a remote guerilla research lab to study Extreme Hype-gene Morbidity and potential 'cures' for the Hype-gene, using Abelle as a case study.
Sebastian Scott - Wraith's super-speed charmer. Excelled in his studies, especially physical aptitude, and was a shoo-in for the HIT agent pipeline, which he entered without hesitancy. Is now a leading HIT agent, engaging in highly successful deployments with his squad, and also works with HELP to further hype causes around the world.
Winter Carlyle - FantasyChic's memory manipulator. After finishing her term at PRCU, she majored in psychology and medicine, eventually setting up her own therapy office and becoming the defacto leader of Hype-based Mental Health, with her unique ability allowing her patients to safely unlock and confront their trauma, while also employing traditional therapy techniques to equip patients with the tools to manage their mental health.
During her studies, she formed an unlikely-but-strong friendship with her classmate, Abelle D'Voire. After Abelle's Hype-gene Extremism manifested in her bodily transformation and mental degradation, Winter was commissioned secretly by PRCU to use her abilities to wipe the memories of all who bore witness and effectively un-person Abelle, lest her horrible fate be used as ammo by the anti-Hype lobbyists of the world.
Rita Ross - Hillan's super-strong punk chick. Did not complete her studies at PRCU, instead striking out from the academy and globe-trotting, helping people around the world on her travels and becoming something of a folk-lore figure as she did. She eventually came back to PRCU and received an honorary degree, and now works on a freelance basis with the university in hype outreach programs and as a mercenary HIT agent.
Aiden McKenna - Tyler's anxiety-ridden pyrokinetic.
Emma Naaktgeboren - Olissa's swedish pocket-dimension 'borrower' waif. After her tuition at PRCU came to a close, she tutored privately at several international universities, before stepping into a full-time role as an Ambassador for PRCU, HELP, and the Hype community at large. She is now a well-known public figure, and one of the leading persons in the rallying for Hype rights and connections between Hypes and Non-Hypes.
Minavita Ripole - Roman's monster-maker girl. Became a leading HIT agent alongside Rita Ross. During a serious public assault perpetrated by a hype terrorist, Minnie finally managed to induce herself to transform in a final desperate bid, saving many lives but ending a few others in the collateral. She has since been under voluntary incarceration at a HIT detention center.
Aiden Roth - Wraith's eye-laser-man. After graduating, Aiden took additional elective courses and then segued into a teaching role, settling in as a tenured Professor at PRCU. He lives on-campus in the alumni village, along with his wife who also works at PRCU, and their only child.

The Sentinel Program, led by Trask, was a United Nations effort. To date, it has three publicly known successes. First are the Sentinel drones, about the size of fighter jets, capable of atmospheric and spaceflight. Their weaponry proved capable of penetrating Chitauri wreckage in tests.
Second, a network of satellites in low Earth orbit capable of initiating a powerful electromagnetic field around the planet as a defensive shield for a limited time. While scaled versions of the satellites were tested on the ground, for obvious reasons the electromagnetic forcefield has not undergone practical tests.
Finally, the Sentinel Program's earliest success is the orbital space station, Bastion. Bastion station was designed to detect anomalies within local space and be an early-warning system for future alien assaults. It also serves as a carrier for the drone flotilla.
The Sentinel Program is lauded by the general public and viewed as Earth's best defense against further threats.

- Omega Sentinel (Half-Human Half-Sentinel) as the antagonist to setup? Trask's manual attempt at re-creating the accidental success of [Sentinel], but in a controllable form.
- Obvious ties to the X-Men and mutants. An Enemy-to-Friend scenario? Prisoner-to-ally? Won't be attempting to hurt them but obviously mutants will be hostile by default - will need to defend itself and then explain it's not a threat.

By the former, I mean characters like Miles, Venom, Silk, any of the clones, etc. Characters that directly got their powers in similar ways to Peter and/or run around as a Spidey-copy-with-a-twist. This is because my Peter will be 5ish years into the hero life and those sorts of characters don't yet fit into his story. I know how popular some of these characters are, so I wanted to get out ahead of that.
By the latter, I'm referring to characters like Black Cat or similarly street-level adjacent heroes and vigilantes that are linked to Spidey, but not linked to Spidey's origins or identity. Or, likewise, attaching your concept to other Spidey rogues or supporting cast is also fine. For instance, tying Otto Octavius into your character's backstory.
