Watch out.

The gap in the door... it's a separate reality.
The only me is me.
Are you sure the only you is you?

"Here's what I want people to know about Hellblazer's story so far" kind of thing.

'Guy came out of the nuthouse after failing to kill himself and immediately went back to fucking his own life up' is a harder sell than you might think.

You could make a neat table and divvy them up by approximate location?

Or have a cool image wall.

First post could be a categorization post of general plots or as Sep suggested approximate location. It'd be a lot to keep up-to-date but could help with interaction if there's a quick reference for who's where. Or alternatively an ongoing plot/post summary for each character and/or plot and/or the IC as a whole.
Blah blah blah

I don't understand why anyone's coming at this from an angle like the images are completely essential and the post can't exist without it. If you want to depict Bailey as Captain Marvel you don't need an image for that we have the written word that's what this entire hobby is. In fact, leaning on AI to create that image for you instead of using language to describe the important visual elements honestly just hinders you as a writer. It's even evident in how your immediately jump to AI. You don't think anymore, you just go 'yeah AI can generate that for me'. Why? It would be so much more interesting to include a written description that could highlight the elements that are important to your story and your desired interpretation of the character. You know what I get from your AI-generated image? 'Yeah that's a guy in a Shazam outfit'. And then, as mentioned, I take psychic damage, and then I move on.

I am generally in the mindset of not using AI for posts and admittedly have been regularly jump scared by the AI children in the thread.

However I do find the dogpiling a little funny when I imagine everyone who is anti-ai for environmental co2/water use reasons here, is probably also not vegan (happy to be wrong on that one though). Of course no one is perfect on every issue, but that's a solid reason not to come at an issue with sanctimony, glass houses and all that.

But if it makes my arguments any more valid, my partner and I use dairy substitues as she's lactose intolerant and it's easier to buy one shared product instead of two separate ones, and we don't eat pork, and she's debating giving up beef as well.

Generally I think meat and dairy reduction is the main way we save the planet.

The way we 'save the planet' is going back in time 20 years and committing murder. We should still commit murder now, but it's retribution at this point rather than a workable cure or preventitive measure.
Like seeing ads, talking with 'customer service representitives', clicking through chat bot options when seeking service support, and scrolling through the news, AI art and text has long been added to the list of 'things that give me psychic damage and erode my will to carry on going in this fucked-up hellscape of a planet'. Do with that information what you will, even regardless of the environmental and direct human damage you do when engaging with these apocalypse-ushering soul-extraction machines.

Assume that's clear enough for my views on AI as well.

So what you're saying is that to satisfy you I have to both stop using AI and also stop using banner art with my Arthur posts.

"So you're saying if I can't use AI I can't use any art at all ever?" No bro literally the exact opposite. Use anything but AI. Look how many post banners and images used by others aren't AI (Mattmanganon is on notice as well for that Shazam abomination). We've done this shit for YEARS without AI. Your latest post uses a banner of a city coastline. You telling me you can't find that without using AI?
Literally me reading posts and making up for myself what all your characters look like in my head as I go:

If its that much of an issue, I can just sub in Jason from JLU then.

However, to my knowledge, Arthur Curry as a child doesn't exist so what is your alternative in that case?

Picking literally any random blond kid that can be stuck on a sheet and then immediately forgotten about. No one is looking at sheets on their second monitor while reading posts to get a visual reference. It's a written medium. Everyone's characters look how I decide they look in my head when I read the post. At best, faceclaims are a signpost for the key differences (in this case, 'this character is a child'). I can count on my hands the number of times I've needed to refer back to a sheet after it's been accepted.
Gross! Disrespectful! Harmful! Compromising yourself as a creative and my regard for you as an individual!
Okay, so either make compromises, or make it yourself.

For Robin of all characters, too. There have to be at least a hundred appropriate panels you can co-opt.
