I posted!! Now I am gonna go work on Rumpel ^.^
The house was a decent size, but one three werewolves, two vampires, and a human all crammed into the hallway, it did not feel as big. Avina managed to work her way through the crowd to stand beside Brice and Jessie. It was strange to not be running. When Avina pictured finding Devin again, she imagined them running for their lives not going to the next town over. However, she trusted Devin and if he felt safe here then she would stay. She settled herself against the wall while Devin continued to search the house. If this was supposed to be safe, then why was he being paranoid?

Jessie same and settled herself in front of Avina, using her legs as a pillow. While there were plenty of places to sit, Avina did not take one of them. There was too much going on around her for her to relax enough to sit. So instead she stood there and watched the bantering back and forth between Logan and Devin. It was obvious that they knew each other fairly well. Logan, within his right, was questioning what they were all doing there. Avina couldn’t blame the human because if she was right about what this place was then Devin would only come here if something was wrong.

Logan was in the middle of telling Devin to quit being a Grandfather when Brice grabbed ahold of her hand. “We need to talk.” He whispered in her ear as he dragged her away from everyone else and into the kitchen. Jessie fell a little bit when Avina moved but just scooted back to lean against the wall. Avina followed Brice into the kitchen without a sound but as soon as he shut the door the turned towards him and crossed her arms.

“What the heck?” she growled. Brice gestured to the kitchen. “This place! What are we doing here, Avina? Staying here is a death sentence! Its like a deathtrap for us. We willingly walked into our own prison!” Brice growled. Avina looked around, not fully understanding. “You are being paranoid because you don’t trust Devin!” Avina growled. Brice stormed past her towards the back door. “We can’t touch any of the locks.” He informed her as he grabbed the first lock

Instantly, Avina’s nose was filled with the smell of burning flesh and she could hear his skin sizzling. “Brice!” She took a step towards him just as he let go of the lock and cursed. “This is my point!” He held out his hand to her, all the skin had been melted away. “Look around you, Avina.” She did as she was told, and started to notice all of the iron around the house. The locks on the door, the bars on the window. There was no way to get out. By the time she looked back at Brice he was within inches of her, “Knowing that there is no way out, do you still have complete trust in someone you only meet three nights ago?” He spat.

Avina stared up at him but no words would come. Her wolf stirred inside of her, not liking the feeling of being trapped. Even after a few deep, calming breaths, the wolf still stirred uneasily. “We can’t stay here.” Brice said. Avina closed her eyes and blocked him out. Think of something positive she told herself. “If we can’t get out, the Marrok cannot get in.” She opened her eyes with a smile. Brice rolled his eyes. “We are safe from our own kind. But not from vampires.” He moved past her to rejoin the group. Avina stood there trying to take some deep breaths to calm herself down.

While Avina was gone, Jessie continued to watch the interaction between Logan and Devin with a small smile. “I get it! You had a family when you were human, and Logan is your decent. Is that why you are being so protective?” She held up a finger “Wait…. If he is your descendant then won’t your pack come after him first to find you?” She asked

“What happened?!” Jessie jumped up and walked up to Brice as he joined them in the hallway and livingroom. “Iron.” Brice said in a toneless voice. “My hand will heal at a human rate.” Jessie looked horrified. “Why did you touch iron?” she asked. “To prove a point.” Brice growled, his yellow eyes flashing towards Devin. “You have trapped us.” He growled taking a step towards him.
I go for the neck, because wolves pin each other and bit down on necks to show dominance and to get the other wolf into trouble. It's more of a wolf instinct then a human thought of cutting out the air flow, though that is was generally occurs. However, I understand the back of the neck having more nerves, which makes total sense for vampires. ^.^

Oh, I am sure they will fight a lot! If Devin starts it, Avina won't step in though. If Brice starts it though, she might try and do something. But she is used to males fighting for dominance, so she is likely to just sit there and watch them work it out.

Yay! We will keep the hints!!
It's okay ^.^ I just woke up anyway. I was sooo out of it last night!

I am not sure if Rumpel will turn out as long, seeing as I still am very unsure of what I want to with him. Today is going to be crazy busy! I have to finish up a homework assignment, do laundry, pack, and my friends are wanting to get together to watch a move tonight around six. I also want to reply to you and finish Rumpel's story before I go to bed. 'Cause tomorrow is a 14 hour car ride and I won't be able to do any replying unless it is just to chat with you. Anyway! I do like what they end up doing with Rumpel's son, defiantly not a lose end there! Not that I will give anything away ^.^ Still, I do not want to include Belfire. I might include him being married... I think once I sit down and start, it will come out just fine!

Belle a theif? That sounds interesting! I can't wait to read it! I am glad you like Ariel. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with Flounder but I enjoy the way he turned out. I am giving mermaids quite a bit of power though, I should probably run their powers by you. Most of it has to do with water though. She can control water in any form, she can transform between human and mermaid, she can control weather (this one can be easily discarded), and if she is holding a fish they can breath outside of water, and if she holds them while she dries, that fish will turn into a human as well. I think that is about it.
I think they would go good together! I just wanna make sure it is natural and not something forced. ^.^. Kind of like how Avina and Devin aren't forced. I want the bond between Jessie and Logan to be natural. I was thinking that while he pines over Avina, him and Jessie will start to become friends. That way we can naturally build up their relationship. ^.^ I have no doubt that Avina can command him despite the fact that he is a vampire. And I mean actually give him an alpha command :)

No. It's not Brice. You will just have to wait for it to happen!

Well, if you take away my hints then... Then.... Then I will take away yours! -huffs- yeah, I'm being a bit dramatic. I'm so sleepy. I'm gonna pass out any moment
Jessie is more of his type then Avina. Doesn't mean he cannot try! Lol. And don't worry, Devin can handle her wolf, he just doesnt know it yet. Her wolf has already accepted him. When her wolf takes over, all he has to do is be submissive and he has got it handled ^.^

Let me put your mind at rest, dear. It is not a spy. I will not tell you what, but both Jessie and Brice are fully loyal to her. But if someone would betray her, it would be Jessie, not Brice.

Yes, I have read your recent post. I meant the once before it. I don't know if it was anything you said. It was more of putting the pieces together of his past, and hints you have given me ^.^
I don't think he would either! Lol. He wouldn't be able to handle the wolf either. Not even Devin has dealt with the wolf yet, but I think he could figure out what to do. Where as Logan would probably get scared and run. ^.^ Not to mention he couldn't handle her as a human either, I think she is too sassy and tom boy-ish for the kind of girl he would go for.

Hmmm... I shall tell nothing! But if what you said is true then the spy would have to be Brice or Jessie. ^.^ Think about it....

I think you all but gave it away in the last post. However, I have been having a creepersome idea of who he was for a while! I shall just have to wait and see if I am right ;)
Just posted Ariel! And it's longer then I thought... It seems to go on forever! I do not promise that Rumpel's will be the same length, and you do not have to match it either! It's not because of Belle, it is because I do not what I want to happen to him that makes him the way his is. I want him to stumble into his magic as he becomes the Dark one. I will keep him being the dark one, but I don't think I want him to have a son.... I am also trying to get away from the Once Rumpel, and I am finding that to be hard...

Name:Rumpelstiltskin

Age: Unknown

Story:

That night had been dark and cold. The rain poured down relentlessly from the sky above. Rolls of thunder had children hiding in their parents’ arms, and flashes of lightning that lit the night sky were as bright at a ray of sun. Wind howled through the trees and through the cracks around windows and doors. Not a soul was brave enough to go out into a storm like that.

Except one.

A dark hooded figure crept through the forest, making steady time despite the fact that the booted feet sank and inch with each step. Rain poured down of the person’s shoulders and made his cloak a dark black. Amongst a small cluster of trees, another figure stood, this one not cloaked. The man visibly shook in the cold, his arms clung around himself trying to stay warm, but the rain still managed to zap every inch of cold from his body.

The hooded figure approached the man. “You are either brave. Or very stupid.” The hooded figure’s voice was more of a hiss then an actual voice. The man let his arms dropped and willed his body to stop shaking. The hooded man laughed, noticing the other man’s shaking. “Stupid it is then. You never were brave, my son.” The hooded figure threw back his hood, and lightning flashed in the sky illuminating his twisted face.

“You killed her.” the man said as he turned his face to the ground.

“I did, didn’t I?” The hooded man laughed. Within the blink of an eye, the hooded man had the cowered by the neck and held him a foot in the air. “I always did tell you that love is nothing but a weakness. It makes the heart wither and melt. It steals away strength and destroys power.” The hooded man threw the cowered against the tree. The coward hit the tree just as thunder sounded in the sky. Blood ran down the left side of his face from where he hit the tree, obscuring his vision. He rolled onto his stomach and attempted to push himself up, but a boot slammed onto his back and pushed him further into the mud.

“You are weak, my son. You allowed love to make you mild and passive when you could have been strong and powerful like me. Now you will die for it.” The hooded man pushed down with his boot.

“I am not weak.” The coward said as he spit the blood and mud from his mouth.

“Come again.” The hooded man leaned down, pretending to try and listen over the storm.
“I am not weak, father!” The man cried as he shoved himself up onto his knees, causing the hooded man to stumble back a few steps. “You really should be more careful about who you piss off.” The man said as he wiped blood from his mouth. The hooded man started after him, but the coward pulled out a long and sharp knife from his belt loop, causing the hooded man to stop in his tracks.

“How could you? That is impossible!” The hooded man screamed.

The cowered stood up and smiled, a full smile with teeth, mud, and blood. It sent shivers down the hooded mans spine. “Like I said, father. You should be careful who you piss off.” He twirled the knife in his hand. “I grew up with you; I have spent my whole life studying you. Do you really think you could have hid something of this importance from me? I have known where your dagger was since I was ten, papa. Everytime you moved it, I knew where it was. There was never a moment of my life that I did not know where your precious dagger was.”

“Then why have you not used it until now?”

“Love makes you weak, remember father?”

“So what? You are going to control me now?”

The coward pushed his father up against a near by tree and held the knife against his throat. “No, Papa. I am going to kill you. I am going to rip your heart out of your chest. I am going to rid myself of you.”

The hooded man laughed. “Do you not know? If you kill me, you take my power. Finally, I can be proud of my son.”

The cowered pulled back the knife and slammed it into his father's chest. “That was for Jesslyn!” he screamed. Another stab. “That was for mother!” Another stab. “That was for ME!!!”

Blood spilled over him as the cowered slid his father’s body to the ground. The dagger in his left hand began to glow a bright green. The cowered watched as the letters rearranged themselves until his name was carved into the dagger’s blade. Rumpelstiltskin. Now he was the dark one.

“Love is a weakness, father.” He said as he reached down to close the corpse’s eyes. “And now I have no more weaknesses.” He rolled the body over, took off the cloak and swung it over his own shoulders. Sliding the dagger back into his belt loop, Rumpelstiltskin started walking back into town.

Name: Hercules

Age: 28

Story:

“My son.” Zeus held the baby boy in his arms. The child screamed and wailed as the umbilical cord separated him from his mother. Shortly after, the god took his son out of the tent and into the bright son. The bright, young, green eyes squinted in the sudden light. Another man came out of the tent and put his hand on Zeus’ shoulder.

“The mortal is dead. Another one that could not handle giving birth to a halfling.” The man said. Zeus sighed and looked at his son with sorrowful eyes.

“And she had such promise too. Thank you Poseidon, brother.” Zeus looked up from his son for the first time since he was born to look at his brother.

“You know what that means.” Poseidon held his hands out for the child.

Zeus sighed and handed the child over. “I have better things to do anyway.” he said in a deep voice then disappeared. Poseidon rolled his eyes at his brother but took off into the mountains anyway. Soon he approached upon a small cottage built into a cavern and knocked on the door. A short and rather large woman opened the door only to sigh when she saw the man at her door.

“When will you mortals stop this stupid experiment?” she asked putting her hands on her hips.

“It worked.” Poseidon stated simply.

“What?” the woman’s arms dropped from her hips.

“His mother survived the birth.”

“Then why are you bringing me the child?”

“Because I killed his mother.”

“What for?” The woman cried in outrage.

“That is none of your business, mortal!” Poseidon roared.

The woman took a step back.

The water god took a deep breath. “Sorry, but you do not get to know why. All you must do is take care of the child and keep him from Zeus like you do the others.”

The woman messed with the front of her dress, smoothing out non-existent winkles. “He is going to be different, yes?” She asked in a shaking voice.

“Yes.” he sighed holding the child out. The woman took the child and cradled him to her bosom.

“Tell me what I must do for him.” She said with the authority she did not have.

“I will come back and talk to him as he develops his powers.” Poseidon turned to leave when the woman called his name. He sighed and turned back to her.

“The name? What do I call him?” she asked.

“His name is Hercules. Zeus named this one, so you must be extra careful.”
The lady nodded her understanding then turned her back to him and shut the door. “Children!” she called as she walked deeper into the house that was much bigger than it appeared to be on the outside. Six other children came running in ranging from ages of sixteen to two years old. “Meet your new baby brother, Hercules.” She knelt down so all the children could come get a closer look at the new member of her family.
A young boy with long blond hair ran down the hallway, he was probably ten years of age. A girl, just a few years younger than him, was chasing after him. Giggling filled the house as the little girl chased her brother. “Hercy! You run too fast!” the little girl fell on her butt in the kitchen and started to cry.

The boy, Hercules, walked back over to his little sister laughing. “You’re such a faker!” he told her as he knelt down in front of her. She stuck her tongue out at him and he reached out and grabbed her waist before she could run away again. She giggled as he pulled her into a tight hug. Hercules smiled down at his baby sister. Of all his siblings, Amelia was his favorite. She could make any frown on his face shift with the slightest look. She was is rock when it felt like his life was nothing but a tornado. “Herc! You are hugging me too tight!” she squealed. Instantly he let her go and she took a step back, breathing a little hard. “You sure are getting strong, mister!” she said poking at his arms.

About then, an older boy of about nineteen walked in. He had jet black hair and stormy grey eyes. “Go away.” Hercules said without looking up to see his oldest brother. Jerico and Hercules had never really gotten along, Jerico always felt entitled and had a better-than-thou attitude because he was the first born. With this entitled attitude, he quickly became the bully. He would do anything to any of his siblings in order to get his way. Everyone, besides Hercules, was scared of the eldest brother and his temper. Hercules was the only sibling that didn’t bend backwards to appease his older brother which meant the two boys were never on good terms.

Jerico crossed his arms. “Go to hell, Hercy.” he said with a sneer.

Hercules stood up “Whenever you are in the room, I am already in hell.”

Jerico smiled wickedly. “Good. Am, you have to do the dishes.”

Amelia, who was standing a little behind Hercules crossed her arms. “I did them yesterday! Today is your turn.” she said bravely.

“Do the dishes, dumbo. Or I will take away your playing privileges.”

“You cannot do that!” Hercules stepped in.

“Watch me!” Jerico sneered.

When it came to messing with him, Hercules did not care what he did, but he was not going to stand by and allow his sister to be bullied. Without thinking, he lunged at Jerico with his fists flying. The boys fell in a heap on the floor. Amelia squealed and covered her mouth, but the squeal was loud enough that it alerted their mother. Her hollering could be heard as the older woman made her way to the room. Jerico and Hercules froze for a moment.

“Why you little piece of -” Jerico reached for the youngest sibling, but Hercules managed to grab her arm and pull her behind him. Yet it all happened so fast… All he wanted to to do was grab his baby sister and pull her to safety behind him. Instead he grabbed her arm in such a tight drip that it broke the bone cleanly in half, and instead of setting her down safely he ended up throwing her through the wall. He turned after he felt her leave his grip and his mouth fell open.

“Amelia!” Their mother rushed in and to the little girls side. After a few moments, she picked up the lifeless body and started to cry hysterically. Hercules sat on his knees, tears running down his face. Jarico walked up behind the younger brother and put his hand on his shoulder. “Welcome to hell.” he whispered then took a step away as the other siblings came into the room.

“Murderer!” Jerico accused. A confused, young Hercules looked around at all the accusing and disbelieving faces of his family.

“I didn’t mean too!” he cried desperately. All of a sudden a dark shadow appeared in the doorway and every turned to face the large, muscular man. Dark blue eyes peered only at Hercules. “You are coming with me, son.” he said calmly but his voice still resembled the sound of thunder and demanded attention as well as obedience.

Without knowing how, Hercules knew this man was his father. “You are no longer safe here.” He turned and walked out, expecting Hercules to follow. The ten-year-old boy looked back at the dead body of his sister with tears streaming down his face, then he turned and started to follow his father.

“Papa!” Jerico called, following closely behind Hercules. “Take me too!” he begged. Zeus did not even look back or acknowledge the eldest son. Jerico grabbed Hercules’ shoulder causing him to stop. “You will pay for this, Herc!” He said angrily. “If it is the last thing I do, I will kill you!”

Hercules formed a fist and slammed it into the older boy’s face knocking him out cold. “That was for Amelia!” he growled then hurried after his father once again.
That is a better way to put it! I think he just doesn't understand women, even though Avina is not a typical woman by any means. ^.^

That is an awesome field to go into!! I wish you the best of luck in it :)

He already knows where she is. He always knows. She just doesn't know that yet :)
