I'd be probably very poetic and descriptive when writing for him, to show in many words how truly dark this creature (saying person doesn't sound right for what I have in mind) is.

Who gets it the weak body? The god attempting to posses a puppet that's not theirs?

Basically, the puppets would serve as an easy way of... coercing local populations to obey.


Something that may have been lost in translation: gods do not expend effort, or 'flit between', avatars and their actual body. They can do thing simultaneously with 100% focus.


Dawnscroll is talking about rather than spending 1 might on one avatar, he spends one might on a host of very weak avatars, where one of them can be given more attention by the God to make it a regular avatar.

I think that's right at least.

If they're possessed by the other gods, what occurs then, considering they're not actually a species and part of the Gods own magic?

Anyways, I imagine bad things happen. Explosions and pain for someone.

Unless the other god overpowers that small bit of magic (as all of the automatons are a bit of said god's magic. If I understand correctly.), then they get this weak...easily killed...really usesless by itself thing.

So say we wanted to make a shit ton of low level puppet esque avatars: made in our image, could probably tussle with a average soldier/recruit, but obviously torn to shreds by higher power foes. Maybe let our gods flit their consciousness to one unit and have normal avatar powers to that one. Otherwise have very basic processing power. On death, they vanish into smoke...


So basically like the Collectors from ME.

Low level guys to shoot up, and one of them goes SUPER SAIYAN whenver the God possesses them to make them a full fleshed avatar.

I would think it'd be okay, provided that you understand that while they're unpossessed they could probably get possessed by other Gods. If Vestec made a bunch of mini slaves that are basically shells, some other God could go and possess/take them from him.
