I am thinking that we know each other from school training or around town but unless you want to work out a friendship its basic familiarity

Its why I kept the CS short we can know as much as is on each other's CS, the rest as we go along

Lasthope is known in its local area and perhaps beyond as a place that is like a dream protected by mounted patrols that are called The Mount Hood Bands. We have electricity, running water, food, medicine, school and a protected city behind earthen and concrete walls.

To become a Citizen you need to keep your nose clean, work, and try not to be a Dicknose for 3 years then you have the right to vote at council. Lasthope is a participating democracy which elects people to positions of authority for a year and a day; after 3 years you can even stand for office if you're crazy enough to look for the work.

I love Tactical Games

I already know how Troopers and Scouts move through the countryside. Your Scouts will move on foot under stealth just before daylight trying to cover the ground ahead keeping a lookout for Humans, Bandits, Unknown Bands (Possible ally and enemy troop) and Risen.

We don't ride our mounts as much as we walk or jog them saving their strength for flight or fight; we do have at least two in the saddle at all times for height advantage sighting and fast reaction force.

I am writing up an Intro which will have us already on the trail and about to cross the line of the greatest limit to Lasthope patrols and into the unknown lands east. We will most likely encounter only a few humans and perhaps one or two Risen which we might let the Troopers practice headhunting with their horseman's Hammer or Tetsubo.

It's during this period I want us to get to know our team. We are all trained to work as a team to solve every problem; it is humanity's greatest power.

We are young but not that Young considering you can Boot as a Trooper or Scout at 16 and be a scrub in 6 months so a 24-year-old has 8 years already in the saddle

I'm making Jain The Expedition Leader because I am the GM and Benevolent Dictator; besides it becomes problematic otherwise
