Not sure how Pointing a weapon at someone which in and of itself is the initiation of an attack then leaving after discharging the weapon into the ceiling should or could allow the initiator to then make an escape, commit several other attacks and cover a distance before the target "Lucas" and those around him can make or surrender counter attacks on he "Odum" for shifting from interaction to combat.

I tagged you Flame as the original target because your case takes precedence then as the person closest to you, me "Naomi and so on.

I call on this understanding that Typhoon may not grasp how combat actions happen or that the brandishing of a weapon on a Player Controlled Character is an attack and must allow a counter; on an NPC it would be okay so long as that NPC isn't a GM NPC.

Been doing this a long time so this is actually not an uncommon mistake in play; been there, seen it before.

It is called God Modding.... sure the attack did no physical damage but it was still an attack... A Charisma attack or a Reputation attack

The first is basic intimidation and the latter of greater consequence because reputation is fragile in RPG. Allowing such an affront if not even verbally countered is the assumption the initiator won the encounter without response and the target lacks the greater will.

Like most ego-driven personalities of the male cast Odum seemed to forget Naomi herself possibly believing the stick she held was for support and not a weapon; had his finger even tensed slightly on the trigger of the weapon he clearly thought of drawing she would have shown him how slow he truly was.

She didn't try to stop him when he stomped outside and showed how short a distance he'd traveled on the road to maturity by wasting ammunition in a display of butthurt. Then he showed her his sociopathic budding serial killer self killing animals in a display of weakness a sure sign he was not to be trusted.

Naomi looks at Lucas as he moves closer her Amber eyes following his every move

She checks the bowl and adds a pinch of ground and cleaned smoke to it then lights it with her MY Little Pony cased Bic lighter. Soon the contents crackle as she draws in a deep breath before flipping the lid closed.

When she exhales it takes 3 seconds for her to expel all of the smoke turning with a sigh to Lucas.

I know; “What a bad Habit” but frankly it's better than pills for anxiety, depression, AD, and the plethora of other supposed ailments of youth
