Though their insistence on dancing until the song was finished hinted at a small amount of playfulness to their current outlook. Luka waterfalled Jesse's sip before speaking up. "It was an interesting turn of events to be sure." Luka commented. "A real see it to believe it moment. Couldn't have planned a finer way to wrap up Day Two and commence Day Three myself... But I digress." Luka took another sip before continuing. "You wanted to speak with me about something. As it so happens, I wanted to speak with you about something too." Luka said. "Did you want to speak first or should I?"

Ok. I believe I have determined the root of the confusion. I was under the impression that the game had begun at a different time of day than it actually had. Edits have been made.

To clarify, the events of the Tie Scene between Luka and Ashley take place some time around the late afternoon and a few hours after the events of Canned Heat, which took place at dawn.

Hm--I'd rather not because IC one of the reasons for the meeting is that they've been working on Ashley's name change, and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me for them to then get the name they've been working on changing for the last day or so wrong.

Hot damn. I had imagined that Jesse would be competent, but this is some next level stuff. Luka has known Ashley for a little under twelve hours now, and only just got the idea to enlist Jesse's aid in changing Ashley's name due to a spur of the moment whim he picked up from seeing her walking down the street on his way to meet them. And you mean to tell me that Jesse has been working on changing Ashley's name for an entire day? At minimum? That is some breathtakingly efficient work right there.
