”Yes, I know who you both are. I’ve done my homework.” Daka explained. “Your files show...” He paused, trying to find the right words. “A lack of pizazz.” He slowly undid the clasp on his outer cloak, letting it drop to the ground. “So, I am going to help you grow stronger, the same way my Master made me stronger.” His mind drifted back to learning to hone his Force sense into precognitive abilities.
Spending hours each day on Korriban, fighting force wraiths from every side. Learning to see an attack coming before it was made. It was gruelling work, but it had made him stronger. “Growth is achieved through adversity.”
Daka gradually undid his shirt and removed it. Revealing well toned green fleas, that while being well muscled, also had several scars and black geometric tattoos. “So, Marcus, Caimeag. Are you ready to grow stronger?”
Daka Gavaluun smirked at the question. “Just someone looking to help you grow stronger. Surely you’ve heard of me. I sent a subspace transmission this way a few hours ago.” He paused to let them connect the dots. “I’m Daka Gavaluun.”
Daka ordered the ship to jump to hyperspace.
Arriving in the Dagobah system, he detected the duo on the surface.
The Sith took a fighter down to join them.
Landing the fighter off to the side, he exited and made his approach.
“Having a friendly dual are we?” He asked rhetorically.
With the rebel base little more than a smouldering pile of rubble, Daka turned is attention to the problem at hand. The Sith working for the Empire. They had veered from the teachings of the old Sith. Led astray by Sidious.
He had to be careful. He couldn't let Sidious know what he was up to, so he had devised a plan. Help the Sith grow until they can see through his lies for themselves. Help them learn the old ways of the force for themselves.
Sith had a habit of turning on their masters when they grew powerful enough, Daka just had to help them get there.
"To Dagobah." He commanded his bridge staff. "We have some alleys to help."
Zir Go went over when he was called. “Ok, that’s a Stygian Mattix. Basis for a cloaking device without all the casing and merged with the system itself. Haven’t found anyone who can get it up and running yet.” He pointed at the next. “That boosts my class two hyperdrive temporarily to a Class one.” He looked to the next. “And that’s an Imperial Tracking device.
Zir Go wasn’t surprised by the tracking device. He suspected they knew there’s was a Jedi onboard, which was why they didn’t attack. Probably sending an Inquisitor. “Then get ready for a fight.”
Zir Go went into the cargo hold and started talleying up his equipment.
Zir Go brought the ship down in a red field. The dust it kicked up turned the air red. Lowering the cargo ramp, he stepped out and inspected the surroundings. “Blaine, I need you to do a sweep of the ship for tracking devices. If you don’t recognise any of the tech let me know. A lot of this stuff if very rare, very illegal and very experimental. I need you tell me the truth to make sure it is meant to be there.” He looked out over the field. “They shouldn’t have let us go. It would have been easy to take us in.” He muttered under his breath.
“Yeah, well no one likes the Empire.” He said glancing at the dashboard. “We’re almost there.”
He took a seat in the pilot’s chair. “Dathomir is my rally point for my big jobs. I helped out a few night sisters during the Clone Wars when they were betrayed by the Sith. They let me come and go in peace.” He readied the ship to drop out of Hyperspace. “They aren’t exactly a fan of Jedi so try to stay on or near the ship and don’t antagonise them.” The ship dropped out of Hyperspace. “I’m letting you know, for your safety. They might not even show up.”
How do you feel about a Para working for Lorne/MPD?
Not to mention, they were on completely different systems. Vendel was in Dagobah, and Blaine and Zir Go were at Jaku.
This doesn’t even take into account that Hyperspace tracking hadn’t been invented yet, so he wouldn’t even know where to go until they drop out of Hyperspace, at which point their location would be transmitted to him.
