Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

Hey @KahleenCuthald, I'm just waiting on you to respond to Damien. No rush or anything, though.
Being civil would be nice and all but it's somewhat difficult when you decide to throw shade and put it in a hider. Just because it's in a hider doesn't mean that it's not there with the rest of the argument.

This should've been handled in a PM from the beginning but since people sometimes need attention.....

This argument proves to me that you obviously can not work with others and for that reason I'm just going to say no to the CS regardless of what changes are made. This is my opinion though. You still have the other GM's to give you a yes, given that you actually comply with what's being said.

@DarkwolfX37

I dunno, Darkwolf does make some pretty good points there. I mean, a lot of people's powers in this rp have the ability to godmod if their powers actually develop. Darkwolf's power doesn't really look that bad at all compared to how the others would look.

The only thing I worry about is how well he'll/she'll be able to play a character like that.
<Snipped quote by Scarifar>

As someone with no life I take offense to that. :/

Don't worry, I offend myself too :3
And to think it's done mostly by one person who either has no life or is a bot.

Demonic Hellflame

As Hellflame flew, he heard a cry for help from below. Flipping himself around to look back, he was greeted with the sight of quite a number of people ganging up on one person. A valid tactic, overwhelming a target with sheer numbers, to be sure. Hellflame took a few seconds to consider whether or not to help the poor girl, and ultimately decided that she was worth saving. It wasn't out of the kindness of his heart, mind you, but rather, the allure of gaining a ton of EXP from four Outlaws was too enticing to pass up. Of course the Outlaws had noticed him and tried to shoo him away from their prey, but Hellflame ignored their efforts and pointed his staff at one of the gun users, activating his <Binding Hellfire> ability. Almost immediately, the rings of fire appeared and began to inflict continuous damage on the person, who then screamed and tried to bat out the flames. Naturally, this caused the other Outlaws to turn their attention away from the Rogue and towards Hellflame.

"Looks like I'll be having grilled Outlaw for lunch today!" Hellflame said delightedly as he activated his <Hellfire> ability, summoning his six fireballs, then he fired off three of them towards the still-burning Outlaw. By now, the other Outlaws with ranged abilities and/or weapons were already retaliating, forcing Hellflame to avoid the attacks as best he could.
Damien Cray

Damien's eyes shot open, and he quickly sat up to get his bearing. He then winced as he felt a sharp pain in his side, clutching the spot involuntarily. Pulling up his shirt to take a look, Damien saw a red mark on his side. Turning his attention away from the mark, Damien looked around the room to try to figure out where he was, quickly realizing that he recognized nothing of his surroundings.

"Shit," Damien said to himself as he got up from the bed he had been lying on. His memories of the events leading up to now were coming back to him as well. A group of people had surrounded him, and there was a snapping sound of electricity just before he felt a sharp pain and passed out, which explained the sore spot on his side. Probably a tazer, Damien thought, still looking back.

Damien came to the conclusion that he had been kidnapped, though he had no clue as to the motive. Damien certainly didn't think he was valuable in any way, so he doubted it was for a monetary reason like that. Damien walked over to a door and tried the doorknob, and was surprised when it turned smoothly. He swung it open, hoping for a way out, but was disappointed to merely find a bathroom. Looks pretty nice, actually, Damien thought as he walked over and turned on the sink, which of course allowed water to pour in.

Something felt off to him then, but he couldn't quite figure out what. Before he could figure it out, though, he began hearing commotion from the outside. Leaving the bathroom and trying the other door, he found that that door opened as well and looked outside. What he found was rather... unexpected. There were other people around his age who looked just as confused as he did. If he had to fight them, Damien was pretty sure he could take them on, though he doubted it would have to come to that.

Damien sighed as he scratched the back of his head. Perhaps they had some clues. It felt better to be outside than in that room of his, anyway. Walking over to a girl nearby, Damien asked her gruffly, "Hey you, where the hell are we?"

@KahleenCuthald
Depends kinda. It is only when the card is flipped up? Do things that have a cost every standby phase or whenever an attack is made or something get this perk too?

The standby phase thing is a maintenance cost. Those you still have to pay even if Trap Economics is up. As for an attack response...

I'd say it depends on the wording of that card.

Actually, even that may not apply since Trap Economics only works on other Trap card activations, not Trap effect activation, like for a Continuous Trap. At least, that's how I think it works.
Leander Xenovia

After Leander finally made his way over to the card shop, his first order of business was to check out the card list of the pack he normally bought: Above and Below. He wanted to see what cards he should be getting to improve his deck. He had discovered not too long ago that he could purchase individual cards rather than packs themselves, so it definitely made for a fun experience to get the card you wanted to add to your deck. Leander had been focusing more on the monsters like Skyknight Parshath and Nova Barrier, but it was really the Spells and Traps that caught his eye. Specifically, Sanctuary Temple and Nova Sanctuary. Their card art was enough for Leander to buy a couple Nova Sanctuary's and a Sanctuary Temple. Once his business was done, Leander began reading their card effects. They were actually pretty great, and would certainly help make his deck more fluid.

Taking a closer look at Nova Sanctuary, though, Leander realized that he should take some precautions against that high price he had to pay to activate the card effect. After racking his brain with what he could remember about cards, he then remembered his first Duel ever in the Duel Academy and decided that he should get another Cestus of Dagla. After going up the counter, Leander was about to ask for the card when he was suddenly shoved aside by someone, the force causing Leander to stumble a few steps before falling to the ground with an "Oof!" Looking up from the ground, he saw that the culprit was definitely wearing a uniform from the Duel Tower, but it wasn't a uniform he recognized. Due to the color of it, Leander could only deduce that it was one for the Dark Dorm, which Shiyu had just talked to him about. Naturally, if there was someone new to talk to, why not take the opportunity? Of course, judging from the guy's behavior, even Leander doubted he could make friends with him, but it wasn't like he hadn't dealt with dark and moody people before.

Walking over to the guy, Leander pulled a chair over and sat down next to him with the chair backwards. "Hi there!" Leander greeted him, displaying his usual happy-go-lucky grin. "You get anything good from those packs?"

Michelle Kine

Michelle blushed slightly and turned away from Joshua, nodding slightly to respond to Joshua. After a few seconds of silence, Michelle broke it by saying, "Well, uh, I don't really have enough points to get anything worthwhile right now, so... yeah." Michelle would have responded further, but there was a commotion at the counter, which caught Michelle's attention. The delinquent then proceeded to scare away the attention of the room, Michelle's included. Turning back to Joshua, Michelle quickly said, "I'll see you around," before making her way out of the shop.
Name: Trap Economics
Trap type: Continuous
Effect: You do not pay Life Points to activate Trap Cards.

Also, I also plan to spend 31 points on a Sanctuary Temple, two Nova Sanctuary's, and a Cestus of Dagla.
