(stupid double post)
@The book of bad juju Eh, if hes dead, rob his grave. Or just find the machines he uses to print the things and print your own. Its really easy to do crime in the yugioh world when either guns don't exist, or are the answer to dealing with world ending cults that try to use a childrens card game on motorcycles to take over the world xD. Especially when you can just own everyone and their 4k lifepoints with a burn deck. xD
But I dunno, it feels like there isn't room for the fun nonsense stuff that is the yugioh anime from what I can tell and that makes me sad.
@Ammokkx
Except that you've been backseat GMing and generally acting as if this were your game to run since day 1. Frankly the only surprising thing is that it's taken this long for KOGaming to get tired of your whining but I guess that's because he's a more patient person than I.
Functionally, what's the difference? It'll all still be on the same page.
Playing devil's advocate here, it could be that for Prostagma doesn't want to split apart their posts in between scenes of her character talking and scenes of her character playing a card game. It's totally reasonable that, to take an example out of thin air, she wants to have scenes of her talking to other people, developing her character and interacting with other people during her duel completely on the fly, where a post could be structured as "character talks to opponent, then talks to guy in the audience, then plays a card, then has an inner monologue about her feelings, etc." If she used the system you're suggesting, hiding away anything card game related away to the audience, her example would read like:
"then talks to guy in the audience,then has an inner monologue about her feelings, etc."
This would force people to write their posts either entirely about playing card games or about roleplaying, and it would hamper their creativity in trying to blend them together, so i could see why somebody would be against it.
