Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

Pretty meaningless when you can get it twice in your opening hand consistently and the RP has a heavy lack of S/T removal.

Tell that to all the mst's I keep encountering

Angelo, Haas, Nathan (iirc)EDIT: Recalled wrong, Maisy and several others don't.

Okay, but Jester isn't a floater. So the not hitting graveyard point is moot. Also, your decks already thrives on consitency with 9x Sanctuary (in the form of terraforming and the one monster) and a bunch of cards that get better with it.

But it's not like Sanctuary can't be destroyed either, or even prevented from touching the board in the first place.

Okay, so this is why I don't like the card:

It's a generic searcher and a free synchro play. I have to mimic what others asked here: Why do they need that? Parshath already has Nova Summoner and Cards from the Sky for consistency.

Maybe because just about everyone else seems to have a direct searcher, if not several. There's Fluffal Dog and multiple Gustos for Joshua and Amelia, for example. Vincent can use a multitude of Chaos Emissary cards to pull out what he needs, all from his deck to the graveyard and back to the field with very little cost to his hand.

Jester, meanwhile, can only pull out ONE specific card, and even if I wanted to make a Synchro play, I'd still need Sanctuary, Even when I do gain access to more Level 8 Fairy Synchro monsters (or even R4NK Xyz Fairy monsters), I am still limited to certain plays myself, so I can't entirely just do whatever I like with the combo.

Another thing: once cards like Nova Summoner and such go to the graveyard, they're basically GONE. I have few options to interact with them, even fewer of which, if any, are actually related to the Parshath and Nova archetypes. Others have synergy with having their cards in the Graveyard, and I don't. Sure I can use cards like Beckoning Light or Monster Reincarnation, but they don't synergize very well. I'd like cards that grant more power to their specific archetype, and in the Parshath's case, that's gaining an early board presence while trying to prevent them from touching the Graveyard.
@1Charak2

That is a really awesome Uraraka gif, where'd you find it?

The point isn't really to create an OP custom deck. Imo the point of custom cards is to either create an archetype that does something you feel isn't already expressed in yugioh as is, or make support for an archtype you feel is cool but isn't good.

The latter part is exactly what I'm trying to do. My previous mistake with all the past cards I made, imo, was that I was trying to get the archetype to do things it wasn't supposed to do. This time, though, I wanna focus more on Airknight Parshath's concept, dealing damage while drawing cards, possibly even future Extra Deck Parshath monsters, if Ammokkx will ever let me consider any again.

<Snipped quote by Ammokkx>

Why those two, out of curiosity?

<Snipped quote by Scarifar>

Now on the topic of this custom card. I get your point about Airknight Parshath being hard to toolbox, but do you really need that many ways to search him out? Airknight Parshath isn't really a key card that branches into multiple different plays like Utopia or Stardust. I mean it goes into, what? Neo-Parshath. That's about it.

Furthermore, you already made a bunch of customs for the Parshath series that search and/or draw. Maybe this one's just a tiny bit overkill.

I'm sure you remember that almost all of the cards related to Nova and Parshath were deleted, leaving me with few options out there, and next to none within the Nova and Parshath archetypes themselves.
<Snipped quote by Scarifar>

Don't see why Parsath needs a normal searcher considering the Nova's are quite floaty already.

Maybe the Novas can do that, but there's nothing helping Airknight Parshath. Stat-wise, he's terrible, and while I can use cards like Freya and Solidarity to help reduce that weakness, they themselves don't help in bringing him out in the first place cuz he's Level 5. He takes up so many resources just to get him on the board that it's an extreme strain on my hand, usually taking up 2-3 other cards and leaving me with few, if any, ways to even keep him on the board.

Remember that he's a Level 5 monster from the Main Deck. With 2 cards, you can pull out much stronger things like Utopia or Stardust. Airknight Parshath, he ain't like those guys.

Admittedly, maybe those two are bad examples. Still, my point remains clear. The cost right now is too high for a single Airknight Parshath.
<Snipped quote by Scarifar>

does Nova Really need a one card Level 8?

Technically it's 2-3, considering it does need very specific cards to achieve what it's meant to do, and Airknight Parshath doesn't have any reliable searchers to pull it out of the deck. Nova Summoner can only do that when destroyed by battle and sent to the Grave.
I was brainstorming this card for a while; what do you guys think?

Name: Nova Jester
Level: 4
Attribute: LIGHT
Monster Type(s): Fairy / Tuner
Effect: When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add one "Airknight Parshath" from your Deck to your hand. If "The Sanctuary in the Sky" is on the field, you can Special Summon it instead, then reduce its Level by 1. If this effect is activated, you cannot Special Summon any monsters this turn, except Fairy-type monsters. You can only activate the effect of "Nova Jester" once per turn, and only once that turn.
ATK/DEF: 800/1400
Perhaps the calendar would help, but assuming we do decide to implement it, how would we introduce it into the IC?
Ohh, boy. I knew the timeline inconsistencies would blow up at some point. I really hate these timeline shenanigans.

Btw, is there any named Hain Village around north of Xerxes?

With what little I know, probably the closest thing there is to that are the few known settlements in and around the Valley of Peace.
