You know, brother. It was so many eons ago from my spotty spawning that I can't really recall his name. He was a piece of work, though. I can work that one out. I always tried, to motherfucking. climb to higher ground or move to the side when it came to collaberating with him. He wasn't so bad in IC but OOC. He was vicious, I mean more vicious than a bike with spikes on and a loud engine with a love of revving up.

He didn't do stuff because he or anyone else liked it. He did shit, because he liked to make other people blood pressure build up. He would act all buddy and fuddy to you with bubbles and beelines to the chill zone but if you so much suggested something that salted his sweetness he hated you forever. He would meta game and mix IC to OC immensely. EG: if he hated you, now the characters did.

which isn't a problem on the face of it but keep in mind. He would get around. So, he would feed some people stories about how bad that dude was in IC, then when people are already acting like your characters move it to OOC. It was really effective. He swear, make new characters, use people to introduce him as new people just to get a chance to harrass or trick you in some way. I'm pretty sure he godmodded, but I was far on the other end of his hammer OOCly that I didn't see him do much besides pretend to be popular, hot chicks and horny dwarfs.

Me and a bunch of others decided that, he must have. Motherfucking. Narcissist disorder or something. He fitted it to a tee. It was unnerving.

Depends on what helps the story or the character more.

Old people are good for conclusion and revelations. Young people are good for discovery and learning. The difference between the two at the core is justification: Young people know jack shit, even when they think they do. They can be smart and right...but still know jack shit. Because it's all based on theory, rarely practice. One again, that dosen't= wrong. It dosen't means that, it's all fine to write a paper sending a rocket to the moon.

Old guys are justified in their conclusions...but they can still be wrong. That real world application dosen't equal a working life. You can be right that swindling old folks makes you rich, dosen't make you any less of a cunt nor does it make you any less unhappy with your lose of integrity.

I like old guys because typically old guys are good as player to GM interims. They know about the world, even have regrets about the events in it. It's a good way to "rewind" bringing other characters who may not have motivation back with you. Making them see events, judge a personal morality and see the story in it while making them pertinent because...hopefully...my character would be pertinent to them.
