Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)
As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.
Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.

Its a great class, but Roy looses his ability to use a sword properly. That's not gonna be a good thing when baddies are coming in close. Though I wouldn't mind making a character for a DnD home brew campaign with the gunslinger class in mind irl.

So its going to be a more of a homebrew mixed with 5th ed DnD?
Trent wood is strong yet flexible, many other uses to boot.

Emil had already worn the complete hazmat suit and looked like a USSR cosmonaut that packed a few pounds by the time the brotherhood paladin had told the group to begin packing up and get ready to head out. He didn't need a repeat of the order and walked back to the bench he was sitting on to retrieve his trusty laser RCW as well as his knapsack containing everything that he needs.
He sticks the couple of repair patches into one of the pockets on his pack for easy and quick access when the suit gets damaged. With the patches secure, he takes his position near the front of the group's right. He maintains a 4 x 4 foot spacing from the others; close enough to cover the right forward position but far enough to protect the main group from any assailants coming from the right side.

'Magic really is an actual concept here in this world.' Ed thinks to himself as he took in what Jason had said to him.
According to what he had understood so far: magic is something that can be taught to others, skills reliant to magic require mana and the glowing crystals that would supposedly replenish a large amount of said mana, you can develop and practice these skills to further strengthen them, and some creatures have natural affinity to some magicks.
Ed then heard Jason offering him lessons on magic. This piqued Ed's interest. "I thank you for your generous offer Mr. Jason. I would take your offer in a heart beat but I am unsure if I even have the skill or talent to harness magic." Ed really wishes that he can. "Is there a way for me to check if I have any skill or talent in harnessing magic?"

He no longer stands on his hind legs and moves a little closer to the slime trio and speaking his mind. "I agree to the terms you have mentioned and I am willing to join your alliance." He pauses a bit, thinking if the question he was about to ask would make him seem like a fool...but quickly rationalizes that a hurt pride is worth the cost of knowing more about this world he was reincarnated into. "I apologize if I seem ignorant or foolish, but did you just say 'mana'? Like the magical kind of mana?" Ed was not unfamiliar with the concept of mana. He remembers playing a number of RPG video games with Audrey before and the word was always associated with magicks.
