Pizza is a main course, but is also a pie. Therefore, I can eat pizza as my meal and have another pizza as my dessert.

When I need a left sock, there is none. When I don't need one, there is a surplus. I think the world is toying with me.

Bio
I am Searat Half sea, Half rat, All Aqueous Rodent.
My role playing career is something i consider as a hobby of some sort but as to how long i have been role playing, I would say that i have three to four years under my belt. (Though most of the times I was role playing, they were nothing as serious as this and were more of a means to relieve stress with my friends or test out ideas that came to mind with them.)
As for my preferences to genres of role play, I would have no biases nor specific preferences to any genre and would be able to adapt to the genre as best I can when placed into it.
Some of my hobbies consist of: playing games, surfing the web, walking, bowling, darts, and cooking. I sometimes write and draw things but not as much to consider it to be a serious hobby.
As the cyclopes fell, relief washed over the musketeer. So few in his homeland could claim to have fought against a giant, even less those who have won. Though this was not a time to celebrate, not just yet. The sounds of troglodytes approaching the combat area had soured the victory as the beasts were surely approaching to feast upon the cyclopes' corpse. Looking down he sees Raugar signal that he was going to search the orc woman's hideout. Roy replies with a quick nod. "Make it quick, paladin! Those beasts will be here soon!" Roy then holsters his rifle and attempts to find a quick and easy way down off the ruined building. He takes note of the bard's attempt at mimicking a vampire...as well as her poor state of being. "You are very brave for a kobold, bard, but there is no need to keep a brave face. I can see the degree of your injuries and if you need help, do not hesitate to ask me." Roy was a prideful man and he would have never acknowledged a kobold as an equal.
But Lilt was different from the common kobold. Where others would have fallen in the face of this threat and ran away with their tails in between their legs, she chose to stay and fight alongside them despite her battered and broken body. Such bravery and determination is to be respected and made an example of. Lilt had proven that she was no mere kobold and with that she had earned the respect worthy of what she was. A comrade in arms.
No rolls done this turn. Holster's rifle and looks for a way down. Tells Lilt that if she needs help, she could ask Roy to help. Looking for a safe but quick way down the ruined building.
Ed saw how easily Asteria climbed the tree and nodded. Perhaps she didn't need Ed to be ready to catch her. As she disappeared into the tree's foliage, he focused more on the smells he picked up. Trying to identify what the fruity smell was and locate where it was coming from. Ed muttered to himself quietly as he pauses to take more sniffs in the air. "Hmm *sniff sniff* sweet aroma. Definitely a fruit or berry...and smokey. Wait...what?" That was strange. He can't see any signs of a fire from his position. There was also an earthy hint that accompanied the smoky scent. Then he heard a rustle further in the forest. This caused the young ratman to take cover behind a tree, he didn't know what was causing the rustling but he was not too keen on finding out.
Ed began to Look around the immediate area for something he could use as a throwing weapon as well as a weapon proper. He wasn't sure that the thing causing that rustling was a foe, but better to be ready if it was and have the preemptive strike. Ed looks around for stones he could throw and perhaps a fallen branch he could use as a shiv or club.

Stops worrying for Asteria as she demonstrates her climbing ability. Focuses on the smell to figure out what it is and where it came from. Detects the smokey-earthy-veggie smell and takes cover behind a tree. Looking for throwing stones and a fallen branch.
"Understood, Director. The team building exercise will occur tomorrow morning. I have no further questions." Richard then salutes the director before using his free hand to let a yawn out quietly into his closed fist. He looks to the Dijin and ponders on his offer for drinks. "A good drink or two is good once in a while. I do hope that those drinks can treat magical exhaustion." Richard comments as he tries to gather enough energy to stand up and attend this little get together. Astra was confused. How could an alcoholic beverage be capable of knocking someone down. It was an inanimate object and literally incapable of doing so. And why knock someone onto their donkey of all things? As far as the databases had given her, none of the agents present owned a donkey. There was so much more Astra had to learn from her more emotive companions and she was not going to let this chance of understanding more of them in a personal level, as well as a lesson in emotions, go by unanswered. "My body does not require traditional sustenance, but I am interested in attending this event."
Richard has the ability to cast miracles and other divine magics, his main issue is that he not yet mastered how to regulate his mana consumption. Also, even if he has a minor form of regeneration, catastrophic damage done to his body will still kill him. (e.g. Falling into a volcano, High yield explosions that blow his body to smithereens, etc.)
Astra is extremely strong and durable. Her weakness lies in her below average agility and tends to take things literally. Her lack of understanding of emotions hinder her from empathizing and connecting with others and her mana core may sustain her easily for a week, but if used often to enhance her functions; Astra's core can only sustain her for 3 days at best and a day at least.
Retreat whilst leaving an ally behind to fend off against this monster? Roy'd sooner denounce the king and queen and declare himself renegade! Pulling out another cartridge, he reloads his musket and takes aim at the cyclopes' eye yet again. The previous shot had struck the beast on the side of its helm, perhaps now that the cyclopes had been thoroughly distracted by the paladin and the cleric, his bullet will hit it's mark; or at the very least give advantage on his allies attacks against the beast. 'King and Queen, give me power to fell this monster!' He thought to himself as he lets the bullet fly.
Attack Roll: 16 Flintlock Rifle Damage: 11 + 7 (Distracting Strike Maneuver Damage) Sniping the cyclopes again. Distracting Strike against the Cyclopes. If hit, attacks against it have advantage until my next turn.
Ed smiles briefly as Asteria finds humor in such a tense situation. The goblin duo was too focused on their task looking for the herbs they needed, they didn't even cast the general area where the rats hid a second glance. If Ed, Asteria, and her mother had chosen to fight, surely they would have had the upper hand without a doubt. The other goblins outside were still preoccupied with their own things when he felt something strange gnawing at the back of his mind. Not the kind of gnawing that the madness had whenever he went berserk. It was something more subtle, like a whispered name you can barely hear amidst a noisy crowd; you hear it somewhat, but you cannot confirm whether or not it was real or merely a trick of the mind. 'Its...its coming from Jason's cave? What is this feeling? Is it the dungeon cor-' Ed's train of thought was derailed as the female dire rat alerted the young ratman that the opportunity to escape was at hand.
He gestures to Asteria's mother to keep low on the ground and hopes that she understands the non-verbal command as he too takes a low stance as they snuck past the goblins. There was a small chance that the goblins would detect their presence but Ed was confident in his ability to sneak despite his grey-blue fur and larger than normal form. Sure enough, they moved past the possibly hostile group of goblins and moved deep into the forest to the point that he couldn't see the cave entrance; even with his sharpened vision and higher line of sight. He had never been so far from the cave. Though he could not complain, the surroundings were gorgeous. The views and sights he saw during the few times he had went camping when he was still in the old world were incomparable to seeing this landscape. Once he had his fill of the view, he looks to what Asteria making her way up a tree.
He was sure that she could have scaled up the tree trunk easily, as she had better control of her fore paws when they were both rats, but just to be sure he was ready to catch her if she makes a mistake and falls. He sits down with his legs crossed on the grass near where Asteria began her tree climb. "Don't worry, Asteria. If you fall, I will catch you. I'll just be waiting down here." He says to her reassuringly as he passively sniffs the air for berries or anything really. Days of eating only raw and bloody meat has left a bad taste in his mouth, literally. Something other than meat would be a great change of pace in regards to his current diet.

Happy that he made the situation a little less tense. Felt the weird feeling from Jason's cave. Follows Asteria's lead sneaking past the goblins. Appreciates the landscape. Takes a seat near the tree Asteria is climbing. Keeps an eye on Asteria as she climbs a tree, ready to catch her if she falls. Passively sniffing the air for berries or other woodland goodies.
