So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

This is a meme I've not seen for a while.
Mevenn practically pouted as the Jedi once again, like many others told her that her attire wasn't appropriate for a member of the Jedi Order. She had seen some scantily clad Jedi Masters and Jedi Knights throughout the years, that didn't exactly promote the best of the Jedi Order. She sighed as the ship rocked taking off from the platform heading through the designated travel lines on it's way into space. "The armour protects me from blastershots, which is always a possibility on a planet that is as chaotic as Belkaden is right now. I'll wear a cloak but I'm not going to take the armour off until peace is restored throughout the Galaxy."

She extended her hand and a mug of caf flew out of Machs hand and into hers. "Hey!" She smirked looking over at him.

"You should know better by now Mach, you make a great cup of Caf." He grumbled at the smirk she cast his way as he went about making himself another mug. Taking a sip she turned back to Kresst as she signalled for him to follow her. Mevenn set a slower pace to let Kresst keep up at a comfortable pace. "At the end of the day, me and my squad have left the rest of the 414th behind to keep you and whatever this artefact is safe. Surely they can understand the need for increased security. Though, in the end if you wish for them to remain at the ship that is your call, Master." Instead of bowing her whole upper torso she merely relegated the movement to a slight tip of the head.

Mevenn hit a button opening a door. Opening the door to her room, helmet and blaster in the corner. Various other pieces of equipment lay around the room. "This is my quarters, if I'm not here I'll either be in the common room or sparring in the hold with a remote or a trooper. If you want to spar at any point just let me know, I'm always down for a little bit of practice. After all practice makes perfect."

She chuckled closing the door as she walked across the hall and opened the door. There was a veritable amount of dust as she opened the door to another set of quarters. "This will be yours, sorry for the mess it's not been used for a while. The Clones all stay in one room at the end of the hall if you need them, but one will always be on duty in the cockpit. Anything you need before you get settled?"
@Master Bruce

After much thought, I need to put Green Lantern on hiatus. My work schedule now extends into the weekends and I'll be starting back for my last 2 classes later this month, graduating in December.

As much as I love writing with you guys, I think I'll just be reading for the remainder of the year. I'll check back in December to see where this group is at then.

We'll carry you in our hearts.

Hound55 will remember this.

Yeah... but this was me saying it.

Oh, I thought you meant you were on the flip side of what I said. So I guess I misread what you said.

-rereads-

Yeah I misread it.

My humblest apologies.

I'm kind of the other end of the spectrum on the Flash (or with @Sep). To me, the better stuff tends to be when the Rogues (who are each individually solid characters) are utilized properly and tend to be better stories than those involving reverse flashes and rival speedsters.

I've felt it as one of my chief criticisms of the tv show that they lean too muh on speedsters as villains. Especially considering what the comics have shown us.

Psst. Unless I somehow messed up I also said the Rogues are great as villains, and I prefer them than always 'Speed versus Speed'
@Master Bruce in relation to the whole 'like/dislike' of characters I hold possibly a couple of unpopular opinions.

I dislike Superman as a rule of thumb (Sorry @AndyC, you are slowly converting me with your writing off him). I just dislike that in most the Justice League stories I've read, everyone else does their best and fails then Supermans just like 'Hold my beer'. I just don't like that personally, I don't find this godlike OP being all that relatable. Relatability in my opinion is something that is very important for characters. That's just me personally, a character with one real flaw just doesn't scream to me 'I am pretty darn entertaining'.

Batman... as a kid like most other kids I freaking loved Batman. Though over the last couple of years, like with Superman, I feel like the fans and the hype have ruined it. He's just overhyped and can beat everything. You start speaking to someone about Superman Vs Batman for example and no matter where you stand, even if you're neutral you're god damn fucking wrong. How could you be such an idiot?

I do hold some slightly less than popular opinions on Marvel Characters too, but these were the big two.

Now for discussion I'm gonna shamelessly tag @DocTachyon. I feel like the 'Flash always has to go against a Speedster Trope or it seems silly' is really a problem with the TV Series. Try as hard as they could with DeVoe there were still some really stupid moments where it seemed that Barry forgot about his superspeed or even his max speed. I'll also agree that whenever he crossovers it seems to vary up and down but in his own series I think they cover even the non-speedsters very well.

When you've got the likes of Multiplex, there's also another guy that can replicate himself who's name I have currently forgotten, DeVoe, Abra Kadabra, The Rogues, Shade... there's so many good villains that I feel are given justice at least in the medium of comics. In fact while I'm being a filthy hypocrite and using Reverse Flash for my first arcs main villain, that's more due to the story I have to tell with "Where's the Flash? Where is he?" rather than him being my favourite Flash Villain. I actually really enjoy when you have the villains who have to outwit, out-trick or out think The Flash and I feel like they do on a regular basis.

It's not all 'Person runs out of room. Barry follows a split second later: "They're gone!"'

Mevenn waved a hand at Kresst. "We don't need an assignment that is a vacation, the war going on we have more important things to be doing right now." No doubt Kresst could sense Mevenns agitation, it rolled off her. She just wanted to get this mission over and done with so that she could get back to the more important issues at hand. If she could be the one to find and finish Grevious. That would have been her way in order to become a Master and recognition throughout the order. Maybe then her former master would stop harping on about her choice of attire. As if it was the most important thing going on right now.

Mevenn nodded to Ace who sighed and threw down his cards before moving off to the cockpit to fire up the engines in order to have them underway. "So, fancy seeing you're quarters? The trip to Belkaden isn't exactly short, and you may want to stay aboard when we reach Belkaden. Just for safety reasons of course. I don't think they've set up a Garrison yet-" She turned to Mach who shook his head. "-Yeah they've not set up a Garrison yet on Belkaden so there could still be some Separatist unrest on the planet."

Look at all those Flashes. A couple we recognise, even Stan Lees 'If Flash was written by Stan Lee'. There's a lot of other cool ones there too.

<Snipped quote by Sep>

Sure you could, there's plenty of toys for the solo man or couples at play.

I'm good ta.

After all, I look a bit like this ;)
