Chis - is it pronounced like chiz or like cheese? Lol.
Some of Magnificent Nothingness - no chakra absorption.
Earth spear - is this necessary? He can transform into smoke every five seconds, when someone actually manages to hit him they shouldn't be met with such a sturdy defense

I'll review the dragon nonsense tomorrow
Sangetsu Hozuki of the Blood Mist

A trickle of blood splattered the ground, oddly quite a darker shade of crimson than normal human's blood, coming from Sano's abdomen as Rumia entered the fold. Perhaps she was expecting to see more blood from a direct hit? His hand seals were interrupted, as his eyes would bare down upon her, his bloodlust focused on her now. A wide grin would appear across his face, he was all too pleased that a Shinobi was daring enough to engage him so close, despite that the young girl thought that maintaining a two meter range were enough distance away from a man whose arms were about half of that distance alone. Now that she had seen him up close maybe now she would realize the stature of the man towering before her.

As the shark took the blow, he would feel it begin to rain, although this was no ordinary rain. As it hit his skin it itched for a moment before being absorbed into his body. He did not even look in Kyoka's direction. The source of the attacks was of no concern to him at the moment. They were but tadpoles swimming in the ocean of an apex predator. Perhaps they thought they were actually gaining some ground on him with their uncoordinated assault? No, the fact of the matter was simply this.. Sano likes to play with his food. It was always a habit his fellow Akatsuki loathed about him. He could never just finish off his prey and get it over with. Rumia reminded him of this fact, and so he resolved to show them a proper display of just where the stood when facing him.

He flung one of his hulking arms out to the side, slicing through the Skilled Acid Technique as he absorbed it as well. He could smell the difference in the rain, he knew it was no ordinary water technique from the jump. With Samehada fused with him, they stood little chance of defeating him with Ninjutsu going forward. Rumia had quite the bold strategy, but in the few precious moments following her assault, Sano would prove to her just how dangerous of a tactic that was with a man of his caliber.

Sano thrusted an open palm aimed directly at Rumia's chest in simultaneous fashion while his other hand was cutting through the Skilled Mist. This was Sano's signature move, his Hadoutsuki. The attack would send a shockwave through the air using the water vapor as a medium, the more moisture in the air, the stronger the blow. And with several Water Release techniques having been used in the direct vicinity, this technique was capable of rendering enemies unconscious with a direct hit. The danger in this technique lies in its inability to be detected, as the water vapor in the air is still unseen as the shockwave travels. Only a sensor would be able to distinguish its true nature, however by using water as a medium in an evironment predominantly filled with air, the technique would take about half a second longer to reach Rumia, although this piece of information would only be useful if she had the means to see what Sano was really doing behind this simple punch.

The attack was not lethal. Had she allowed him to form his dome of water he would have had the necessary medium of complete submersion in order to deliver a lethal Hadoutsuki. However, the Buffer Bubbles were a factor. Kyoka had unknowingly intensified Sano's attack, using the moisture of the bubbles as a medium for his attack and empowering it even further. This was his plan at first, to kill one of the Chuunin off the bat and watch the others scatter for a nice chase. But this one who attacked him head on, to try and cleave the beast in two? Sano would like to see her snake-like tail aid her against an invisible attack of this caliber. No, the shark was not going for the kill at the moment. This was a statement of prowess and dominance. They needed to realize what they were up against here. However Sano only made this statement because he commended their valiance, especially the girl with stones big enough to attack him head on. And it was this valiant effort that he would crush their spirits with.

Just as Sano would repel the Skilled Mist and launch his Surge Thrust, the earth around him would begin to rise and form a dome around him. "Doton: Dochu Senko!" The shark dove into the ground as the earth raised up, and by the time Sakana leaped to the top of her dome and prepared to execute the brilliant plan of drowning a fish, she would find no one within the dome.

He would emerge from the earth suddenly beneath Kyoka's feet, his massive jaws wide open and attempting to viciously chomp down on her left ankle. Should he succeed he would begin thrashing his neck back and forth to tear apart his prey in a most brutal manner, but he half-assumed he would be unsuccessful and either way as he emerged he would be forming a single handle seal.

As Kyo ran after Senna toward the southeast corner of the forest he saw the image of Mizuki and caught the sly grin that his friend had used to flash him all too often appear across his comrade's face. Nostalgia flooded Kyo's mind at first, but there was something sinister beneath that grin. It held no true emotion. It appeared only Kyo had picked up on this with his Sharingan, as Senna was solely focused on reaching their friend.

In the distance to the northwest at the heart of the forest, an explosion of epic proportions. Normally the chaos would have triggered Senna's emotional sensory abilities even from that distance with such pain and surprise from such a large bomb. But not now, now she was only focused on the image of their comrade. She wanted so desperately to believe he was alive and well. Kyo's eyes flickered over to the explosion, but returned his focus to Senna as his protective instincts would not allow him to lose sight of her. Moments later he could see a rain of what appeared to be water sharks cascading down upon one end of the forest of death. Within seconds, a large concussive blast flattened the other side of the forest of death. What the Hell is going on here?! Is this part of the fucking trial?! No.. It can't be. That first explosion was the Kage's observation tower. These are orchestrated attacks meant to be positioned during the Jonin exam for the purpose of distracting us long enough for whoever is pulling the strings to accomplish something... but what is that something? His mind was racing to figure out the enemy's next move, but with his focus split between his surroundings and the image of Mizuki in his mind he could not think clearly. He could only ponder for a moment that it was no coincidence that Mizuki was returning at the exact moment these attacks were carried out on his home before his thoughts were interrupted. He was powerless to help his village.

Suddenly, the chase stopped, the cloaked puppet stopped in the center of a clearing and turned to face Kyo and Senna. His face looked exactly as they had known him, aside from two thin black lines coming down from the eyes, as if to mock them, as if the creator could have easily erased them but wanted to show them just what had become of their friend. They were reuinited. It was just as Senna had wished for the night that Mizuki disappeared. Right? Of course not. This was not what she wished for. Not at all. Whoever- No, whatever- this thing standing before them was, it was not Mizuki, the mischievous, yet kind-hearted friend that had been a part of their squad for years who always poked fun at Kyo and Senna's relationship. "Mizuki..." The name sounded distant even to her own ears as she whispered his name. It was as if a bomb had gone off and dulled her eardrums. And a bomb had gone off in front of her. Reality had exploded before her very eyes. A tear fell from her left eye and hit the earth of the Forest of Death. The denial of the truth set before her was written all over her face.

Senna tried to rush toward the puppet, but Kyo put his hand across her chest and stepped in front of her to protect her. Clink! The brief second of metal scraping together as a hundred shuriken all flew from the trees behind them. With Senna behind him, the tripwire that Kyo had activated by taking that protective step in front of Senna triggered the malicious trap around them. How had he let that go unnoticed? His Sharingan could have easily seen that. His emotion had taken ahold for a moment and he couldn't help but to do what he thought was best for Senna. And now the trap was not aimed at him, but with Senna behind him the shuriken coming from the trees were aimed mostly at her. A jolt of Black Lightning left his feet, his Sharingan pinpointing the trajectory of every single shuriken in a fraction of a second. His reaction was peak, precise, and perfect. Well... as perfect as that situation could have turned out.

The seals on his wrists activated, his katana appearing in his hand and a kunai in the other. Using these tools combined with his lightning-accelerated reaction and his Sharingan he spun around while using his sword and kunai to protect Senna from every single incoming shuriken, taking her to the ground as he spun and using his own body as a shield for her. He was not so lucky, several dozen shuriken had struck him from various angles. He only had enough time to protect himself from those that would have struck vital points on his body. He rolled off of Senna and dug his katana into the earth, his legs wobbling as he struggled to stay standing. He dropped to a knee, several shuriken sticking out of his back and several dozen small lacerations across his arms and legs. He was losing a decent amount of blood, but nothing life-threatening had befallen him.

Senna quickly gathered herself and dusted the shuriken out of Kyo's back. "Are you okay?!" She knew he would be fine. A green glow covered her hands as she placed them upon his back, and his wounds slowly began to heal. Her head snapped up toward the cloaked figure of their friend. "Why would you do this to him, Mizuki?! What the hell is going on?!" She cried out. All the confusion was getting to her. Kyo winced in pain as he tried to explain that there was no way that Mizuki was inside of that soulless thing. But something caught him offguard. From one knee he dropped down to both, his grip on his sword loosening just a bit as he could feel himself struggling to stay upright. "P-poison.." He croaked as his eyes narrowed in defiance, glaring at the soulless puppet. The shuriken were not meant to kill Senna nor Kyo. It had all been perfectly planned. The puppet had stopped at the precise spot in the clearing that he knew he would be chased to in order to spring the trap on them. Not only that but whoever was controlling this thing knew that Kyo would step in front of Senna to protect her, and would also throw himself in the way of the shuriken to protect her. Actually, the trap was meant to hit both of them without fail. It was simply impressive that Kyo managed to stop every single shuriken from touching the girl he loved. Unfortunately it was this selflessness that sealed all of their fate.

"Senna... Why did you abandon me... Senna...." The coarse, raspy voice that came from the puppet was not of Mizuki's. Whatever was left of him was being manipulated by someone else, that much Senna could see. But why then did the puppet raise its hand out in withering desperation, as if to cry out to her in pain? Senna felt nothing from the puppet. Nothingness. A cold, empty void of blackness surrounded its existence. Confusion flooded her mind. Was this really the remnant of her friend reaching out to her in his final moments of life, if this could even be called life? But it looked just like her friend. There was barely anything to indicate otherwise. How could it not be?

"Mizuki..!" It grew from a whisper to a hoarse cry, she was choking on the inevitable fact that she had to accept that this, whatever this was, was what had become of her friend. Nothing, not even the death of her mother, had prepared her for this: seeing one of her closest friends of her life turned into a husk of life that was not truly dead, their soul mangled and trapped in a realm of half-existence into a shell of their former selves, with no emotion, nothing but an afterlife of servitude to WHAT?! Senna couldn't figure it out. She couldn't feel anything beyond the lifeless human puppet of her friend that stood before her. No bad intentions. No evil. Nothing that she had felt when Mizuki disappeared in the forest just yesterday. Her ability to sense emotion, the only thing she had ever grown to trust in this world, was completely useless to her in this moment. She had nothing to go on but what she felt, because it was the only thing to feel, other than Kyo's fear that clouded up the background of her thoughts.

Senna took a desperate step forward toward the shell of her friend. Another tear hit the ground, this time from her right eye. "Senna, that's not him!!" Kyo called out with agony in his voice. "Don't fall for it!" He spat, helpless against the situation. His arm twitched, barely able to move anything. The poison was coursing through his veins, paralyzing him. Soon her face scrunched up in a river of tears as she tried to fight back against the overwhelming sensation of helplessness that overtook her. "MIZUKI..!!!" She cried out, her feet compelled by emotion toward the image of her friend. She stepped forward, tears now pouring from her eyes. She wanted nothing more than to save her friend. All her life all she ever wanted was to help those around her. She didn't know what he had become, she had never known anything like this in her entire life. This forbidden art of human puppetry... she didn't even know to call it that, all she saw was her friend, as lifelike and realistic as ever, only void of any soul that had once inhabited the shell of a being that stood before her now.

A horrifying grin came over the puppet's face as Senna ran toward the husk of Mizuki. Its master knew exactly what went through the girl's head. He could see his tactics working, everything from start to finish had gone almost entirely according to plan. The shuriken were meant to poison the girl as well and Seijuro had planned to have this little facade over by now, but Kyo was quite the specimen. He was the wrench in Seijuro's plans. But the puppet master was not phased by his heroics. The situation was still in his control, and nothing could take that from him now.

"SENNA, DON'T!!!" How Kyo was managing to scream with his motor functions numbed was nothing short of a miracle. He was using all the strength he could muster not to falter during this crucial moment. She needed his help. She was trapped in her own mind, unable to rely on her sixth sense to see what was really going on. She couldn't feel any malicious intent because there was nothing to feel from a puppet. All she saw was the friend they both wanted back so desperately. She didn't want to believe he was dead. But Kyo saw the trap that they had been caught in. They were but prey to whoever was controlling them now. They were actors on someone else's stage. His eyes widened as he watched helplessly as the girl he loved ran straight into Mizuki's arms. It was the most painful sight he was ever forced to witness. As Senna ran into the puppet she wrapped her arms around him, tears falling onto the jet black cloak the puppet adorned.

Before Kyo's very eyes, six knives shot out of Senna's back. Her clothing was immediately painted red from the holes going straight through her chest. The puppet's ribcage was rigged to protrude outwards, the rib bones sharpened into daggers. "STOP!!!" Kyo cried out once more but it was far too late. Senna's jaw dropped, her arms falling lifelessly to her sides. Her eyes stared straight ahead, far past Mizuki, far off into the void of death. In her last moments she coughed, her blood staining the black cloak of her killer. She turned her head to look back at Kyo, her mouth covered in blood, eyes wide with fear and sadness. She mouthed the words "I'm sorry" before resting her head on the puppet's shoulder just as her eyes drifted away from this world.

For a moment nothing happened. The world was still for a split second and it was all over. His love was lost. Kyo could not hear the pounding of his own breath, only the beat of his heart accelerating like a war drum in his chest. "AAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Black Lightning erupted around Kyo. His arm shook as he pressed himself off the ground. His legs quivered however in but a moment the Uchiha was on his feet, a torrential cloak of jet black lightning surrounding his body. He may have been poisoned, incapable of sending natural signals from his brain to the neurological receptors, but by creating his own electrical impulses through his lightning armor he was on his feet. He was used to the chakra control necessary to increase his reaction speeds with his Kuroi Raiton no Yoroi but this was on an entirely new level of chakra control. The feat he was pulling off was something you only heard in stories.

His fists clenched tighter than they ever had even if he couldn't feel them. Blood ran down his knuckles as his nails dug into his numb palms. This way of movement was not perfect, he was clearly overdoing it with this strain he was putting on his nervous system and his muscles. He was incredibly tense, his teeth grit shut in fury. CRASH!!! The sound of thunder collapsed upon the earth as Kyo took a single step forward toward the puppet. His arms quaking with rage, a bolt of lightning erupted from the earth at his feet, ripping up a good portion of the ground around him in his wake.

~Impossible!! This is unheard of! This mere child has found a way to overcome a complex poison of the Dokugami clan and is using his remaining strength to stay and fight... instead of running from death, he will overclock his body and embrace the same fate as the Akizakura girl.. No... I think he truly believes he can win here.. Well, let's see what you've got, Uchiha..~ The puppet of Mizuki removed Senna's body from the daggers coming out of its chest and held her in its arms on display for Kyo. In hindsight, this in-your-face display of 'haha your girlfriend is dead' was probably not the smartest move. But it certainly achieved Seijuro's goal, it brought the most out of the Uchiha.

A scarlet river ran down the right side of Kyo's face. Agony and hatred gave birth to an inhuman scream the likes of which Kyo never knew was within him. Senna's lifeless body was dropped like a rag doll as Zetsumei dashed backward, throwing his cloak off as it was destroyed in seconds as Kyo appeared in front of him, tearing through it with a mass of black lightning. Before the cloak could touch the ground, Kyo was kneeling beneath Senna's body before it could hit the ground. He looked down at her as a tear of blood dropped from his eye and rolled down her cheek. He shut his eyes so tight that they hurt as he laid her body gently upon the ground.

"YOU!!!" He opened his eyes once more as he whipped his head over to face the puppet again. This time a stream of blood came from the left, looking directly through the puppet and for but a moment the eye of insight saw the puppet master. Seijuro felt this for certain. A split second later a massive thunderclap was heard as Kyo gathered his remaining chakra into a flash of black lightning that created a scar upon the earth for a hundred yards in front of him, cutting through the forest.

Kyo's arms shook with rage and quivered from the fatigue of his body being pushed to its physical limits. True tears rolled down his face, mixing with the blood from his eyes. The pain he felt from them and from his body beign thrust into overdrive was numbed from the poison. A curious cocktail, as he could not sense just how far he had pushed himself. In fact without Senna there to heal him, at this very moment, without medical attention, Kyo was going to die. Part of him knew this. And he did not care. Not without the love of his life. He had nothing else to live for. If it were up to him, he would die right here with her. And so he gave up. The last remnants of electricity fled from his body, whether he willingly dispelled it or he had run out of chakra after purging several kilometers of forest into Hell was of no importance. He dropped to the ground, his arms still cradling the girl he loved with all of his heart. She was all he had ever wanted. There was but one regret he had in life, and that was his failure to protect her.
Koutaku and Marekizo are accepted as long as the imposed limitations discussed on discord have been added.

Sebun Chimei-teki Tsumi Is accepted with the imposed limitations discussed on discord having been added.
@Seraphicide Done, and thank you.
I took away all of her sensing jutstu's and ish too. She'll just have heightened natural senses to go ahead and reduce the number of sensors we have.

No, thank YOU. The changes are fine, initiating maximum acceptance protocol.

Kyo and his bae were just about done sizing up the competition as the Hokage announced the first trial, which was simple. Get the damn scroll. By the time Kyo was ready to come out of his introverted shell, the competition had already banded together into six groups and ultimate his kin were looking to him to join them. ~How cliche... all of the Uchiha excluded from the other groups so we have to stick together... What, are they going to give us the fire scroll next?~ Kyo pondered in his thoughts as he made his way over to his kin.

"They're talking about us, Kyo.. You know they want you but I doubt they want me to join your little reuinion.." Senna whispered as she followed a a step behind Kyo, lingering in his shadow as they made their way over to Date and Koibito. She wore a stern look on her face like a mask, as if to tell the other two boys that she meant business and was not just a fodder member of their team. However, Kyo most definitely wore the pants in the relationship just based on their combined demeanor. He had that classic cold, emotionless Uchiha countenance and clearly brought Senna along like a little puppy. Little did they know just how great of an asset she would be to an Uchiha. They would soon see why the prodigy of their clan kept her around him so much.

"Well, well, well... Looks like the Uchiha are forced to band together in this one.. Good. I like it better like this. This way I won't be forced into a group with some no-name Earth Shinobi who expects me to do all the work just because of my name... at least this way we all know what's expected of ourselves." Kyo was obviously referring to their status as Uchiha and the heightened expectations placed on them by their peers simply for the symbol they each carried on their attire.

Before he could even formulate an idea of which scroll to take, the Hokage made his grand revelation and they were transported to a white room together. He looked over to his two Uchiha comrades and gave them a telling look of seriousness. He was not going to take this lightly. From here on out this was all about teamwork and victory. The faster they completed this challenge, the more time they had to focus on resting for the second trial. Failure was simply unacceptable here.

"Up to you. Whatever scroll you guys want, I don't care. Victory is within our grasp no matter which door we choose." Kyo finished, turning to Senna and nodding to her. With this she closed her eyes and focused her Kekkei Genkai, the Vibration of All Things, and tuned herself into the emotions of the other two Uchiha. It was no Genjutsu, but literally becoming one with their emotions. She would have an intuitive insight directly into their feelings just by being around her. She was a pure empath beyone measure. She would become the link between their group that allowed for perfected communication and cooperation.

FIRE SCROLL

Nu Suzaku, Keeper of the Light of Man

Two wisps of silver flames gently danced underneath the feet of a daunting man with matching silver hair. He was floating in a pitch black room, the only light emanating was from his feet. Next to him was a large scroll with the Kanji for Fire scribbled in bad handwriting across the front. The floating fireman had narrow, judgmental eyes that seemed fixated on the door where his arrivals would enter from. Upon entry the light from the bright white room would illuminate but a very small portion of the entire landscape, signifying to any of the observant contestants that they were in fact in a massive room, despite how dark it was. While fire was very illuminating, this challenge seemed to start off with the embodiment of the exact opposite.

As the four contestants would eventually make their way in, the floating figure would introduce himself. Or would he? "Look at the lot of you... not a winner in sight. None of you have what it takes. Why bother even telling you my name?" He sighed, placing his hand on his forehead as his index finger and thumb ran down the sides of his head and circled his temples, easing the headache he was giving himself. "Just call me Suzaku, if you have to address me at all... Now listen up, and listen good, because I fucking hate repeating myself. This scroll next to me is the fire scroll. You need it to pass this first trial. The trial is as follows: Take the scroll and leave the room. That's it. It's that simple." Suzaku explained the trial and then as he did, he put his arms behind his head as if to lay down, and then he did just that. He lay back, still floating in mid-air, laying on nothingness. The two flames at his feet still illuminated the area around him, the scroll next to him just barely visible amongst the shadows..

He closed his eyes as he laid back without a care in the world. "By the way... don't ask me for any hints, I'm not saying a word.. None of you deserve to be Jonin anyway. Back in my day the Jonin were elite members of the village who commanded respect, earned it... not expected it to be given to them freely just because they won the title of Jonin from some glorified lottery system you got goin' on here..." He would seem off in his own condescending world, and the fact that he lackadaisically floated above them in the air was no coincidence, he had placed himself above them both literally and metaphorically, as if to show his significance. The air of arrogance that preceded him wasn't hidden whatsoever, it was as if he truly expected all four of these Shinobi just to roll over and accept defeat without even trying.

He cocked an eye open before any of them could even hope to get near the scroll. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot... the part that makes this so-called challenge, you know, challenging.." He began as he extended his index finger to the Scroll of Fire. He merely poked it in the most nonchalant way possible and set it ablaze in translucent silver flames. The four contestants would soon note that the scroll was not withering away from the cloak of silver that enveloped it like a scroll would if it were to be normally set on fire. Instead, the cloak of silver danced around the scroll and merely sat there as Suzaku laid back down on his cloud of nothingness. The same silver flames danced beneath his feet ever so elegantly. "I will only say this... don't even try touching those flames with your bare hands, kids. Remember what your mother always told you as a kid!" And with that Suzaku let out a haughty laugh and rested his head on the air beneath his head. Nothing was holding him up, he just lay there and closed his eyes, emitting an aura of indifference as he waited to see what his contestants had in store for his challenge.
Yeah and I forget who but one character even has that
I'm back from vacation ayyyee

NOTE TO EVERYONE: I'm sick of seeing almost EVERY single character have either some form of sensory technique, or the opposite, some kind of way to hide from sensors. Or both.. Not everyone can have Second Tsuchikage-level hide-and-go-seek skills especially with some of these Chuunin. I'm just gonna start asking people to remove these techniques if it continues to be an issue.

Kamui Uzumaki - Accepted

Koibito Uchiha - Accepted

Yogensha Kaguya - Brahmastra should have more of a drawback on her when she uses it. Otherwise accepted.

Nousagi 'Hyuuga' - Accepted

Kiku Kurama - Mirror Heaven and Earth is a Sharingan technique, that needs to be removed. Otherwise accepted.

Koutaku Nisekuru - Twice per minute substitution? Consult Syn and I on Discord about this. Same for that Body Flicker. Gotta have a talk about that advanced transformation too.

Kaito Chosokabe - Hidden Murder, how do they not know they've been cut? They would still feel the pain and see the open wound, no? Accepted

Tsukiko Umene - How proficient is she with Hiding with Camouflage? There are varying degrees and I'm soooo tired of everyone having Mu-level skill at hiding themselves.

Marekizo Anzen-sei - He does not need to be a sensor does he? Everyone is a friggen sensor. Does he really NEED the crystal sensory thing? The Ghost Light technique.

other Jaakuna - Accepted, thank you for not being a sensor or anti-sensor

Tashiro Hokori - Accepted
Kaijin Otsutsuki

Seijuro Kizaru Nandate

Stitch by stitch, piece by piece, little by little, the vessel was created for the one and only Seijuro Nandate. Almost twenty years ago he had been buried.. two generations of ninja had been born since, and they knew not the true horror of his actions. Only the stories of those who had lived through the terror of his existence were passed down to remind them of an evil that they had hoped to God was but an ugly nightmare never to be relived. IF ONLY...

The soil reeked of corpses and blood, staining the air. Rain had softened the ground as it began to pound even harder the closer Gokiburi approached the shallow grave. As he bent down to check the dirt, a cockroach scurried off of the mound of dirt as its master bent down. A mysterious hooded figure stood off in the distance and watched the events unfold.

A crash of lightning struck less than a quarter mile away, the ensuing thunder shook the very air as the hand of the most notorious Shinobi to ever walk the land tore through the earth and wrapped its cold, dead fingers around Gokiburi's vile throat, crushing his trachea with enough force to send the message of dominance through to him, whereas if he truly wanted to he could have snapped his neck then and there, not like it would have killed the cockroach anyway. The brief illumination from the lightning showed a devilish grin across the face of the hooded figure in the background.

"AAAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!"

His face emerged from the dirt with eyes lit on fire, his other hand erupting from the ground and lifting his body from the earth with force. As he rose to life from the depths of Hell itself, a black mass of shadows swirled around his being. Blood red chains from the earth surrounded his body, wrapped around his arms, legs, torso, throat, and one main chain lodged into his chest, anchoring his heart to the depths of Hell itself.

He tossed Gokiburi to the side with violent force, as if he were nothing more than a rag doll. His arms twitched as he fought against the force of his restraints, which were already trying to drag him back to the grave. He looked down at his chest as he grabbed the chain coming from his human heart, his grip tightening around the chain as the ground gave way. He sunk several inches back into the dirt. The shadows arose around him with furious anger. He was not supposed to be here. The Heavens knew this to be true: Seijuro Nandate's soul was not meant for the living.

He jerked his head up toward the mysterious figure. The fire in his his eyes bore down upon the man. "Right here... do it. DO IT NOW!!!" Seijuro commanded as he shook the chain connected to his heart. For a moment the stranger did nothing, and Seijuro's living heart skipped a beat as for a split second he considered the fact that this man would let him plunge back into Hell.

Gazing down at the dark twisted soul of Seijuro, the stranger's luminscent eyes full of dark glee, he waited. For a moment he watched as the chains dragged Seijuro, uncaring of the man's words. As his chest was about to slip below the earth, he fell to a knee and slammed his palm onto Seijuro's chest, fingers gripping the chain.

An aura of chakra surrounded the stranger and his cloak billowed back before the bristling sound of crystal forming filled the air. The light blinded everyone, but the stranger and Seijuro for a moment, and then all was still. The chains gave one last tug at Seijuro's soul, and then crumbled into crystal fragments.

The stranger lifted Seijuro from the writhing portal as it slowly closed, extricating him from the grasp of Naraka itself. The look on his face was one of pure adulation as he reveled in his ability to defy the very laws that held the world together.

“Itan-sha Hōrei(異端者法令 Heretic's Decree),” the young man said and then the portal closed.

Seijuro stood tall as he looked upon the man who had broken his seal with great curiosity. He eyed the man up and down for a moment, sizing him up. After a moment of silence he grinned like the madman he was. "I can only imagine what Gokiburi promised you in return for this. Speaking of that little roach..." First he looked down at his body, a mass of body parts stripped together, the only true part of himself was the core that contained his heart, a true Shinobi Frankenstein. He flexed his arms, testing his grip before cracking his neck.

Turning to the cockroach responsible for his revival, he motioned toward the flesh he was composed of. "You know for a fact this will never do. Tell me it was recovered." The cockroach motioned to the hideout behind them. Seijuro turned his back to the two and motioned toward the door. He made it two steps before bending over and throwing up all over the ground. "It's been so long since I inhabited flesh.. so weak and full of flaws..." He gathered himself up and entered the hideout.

There was a long steel table, the body of the Third Tsuchikage turned into a puppet was carefully laid out on display. Seijuro looked back to Gokiburi. He gave him a telling look as if to say THIS is all you could bring me?! He looked up to the wall behind the table, and looming in the shadows was a second puppet, and the fire in Seijuro's eyes came to life once again.

"AHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!!"

The maniacal puppet master gazed upon his own masterpiece, his former shell of a self. The human puppet carapace of Seijuro Nandate loomed over him. He carefully retrieved his vessel and laid it down on an adjacent table. And so it began.. his flesh would be no more, and he would return to his former glory...

Yesterday

The bodies of two deceased Shinobi lay in the woods, almost a day old each. Three young Chuunin wandered through the woods in search of them. A third body would have joined the first two, but it had been removed to become fodder for Jaakuna's revival. Seijuro had been lying in wait, a trap for whomever went to discover the fallen Leaf Shinobi he had slain. And so he was right, three young Chuunin grew closer and closer. He overheard its of an argument as one of them stormed off. He stalked his prey, a Dokugami clan member, as the child came upon the murderous scene. A rustle in the trees. The sound of a sickle protruding from Seijuro's wrist. That was all Mizuki heard before his death. Blood gushed from the child's neck as his life was taken from him without a sound.

Moments later the other two showed up. Seijuro was eyeing them up and down before he froze in place. An Uchiha... what luck... two Kekkei Genkai for the taking from one haul... He thought to himself as he eyed up Kyo. He scanned the girl that was with him as he prepared to strike again. He dared not move as he laid eyes on Senna. Memories of Saya and Namine and his childhood flooded his thoughts as pure hatred arose within him. His Killing Intent poured out of him like a flood of boiling anger, and the girl sensed it right away. The two young Shinobi fled on the spot, a vicious grin creeping across Seijuro's face. He could have killed them both then and there, even if the Uchiha looked quite strong. He knew at that moment that this girl had to be the granddaughter of Saya Akizakura. She was a spitting image. This meant that her mother survived as well, and the puppet master devised a plan to draw his prey to him.

Present Day, Jonin Exams in Konoha

A hooded figure with a tattered cloak entered the scene of the Jonin Exams, eyeing up the contestants from the various villages. He noticed several Iwagakure Shinobi that stood out to him amongst the familiar faces of the Leaf ninja. The figure hung to the back of the crowd where they blended in with the rest of the Shinobi, doing nothing of note to stand out from anyone else. There were several Iwagakure Shinobi already causing a scene, drunkenly harassing a diligent member of the Senju clan. Even the two ninja trying to keep to themselves were made note of. The boy who flew in on a ball of air was quite the scene as well. The cloaked one held its hood over its face as the gust of wind from the ball ruffled its tattered cloak. All in all, nothing escaped the gaze of this hooded figure.

Kyotoumaru Uchiha

Kyo and Senna arrived just in time it seemed. The Hokage was emphatically anticipating the arrival of all the Shinobi to participate in the exam. And yes, while it was quite the sight to see, Kyo felt a certain uneasiness about the atmosphere of the exam. It wasn't the drunken Shinobi from Iwagakure, it wasn't the two Iwa-nin casually sizing them all up from the sideline. No. It was something else entirely. Something just felt off about this day that he couldn't quite put his finger on.

Senna looked up toward Kyo as they walked together into the stadium. She barely paid attention to where she was walking, her mind was focused on how Kyo was feeling. She could feel his unease and couldn't help but have it run off on her a little bit. She wondered what he was really thinking, what his true thoughts were.

Just as she got carried away in her own thoughts, she brushed up against a hooded, cloaked figure. "Oh, sorry, I just-" she hesitated as she looked at the cloaked figure in passing. Kyo put his arm on her shoulder and ushered her onward into the crowd. She paused, for a moment the entire world was silent as she focused on this man. Nothingness. Not a thought, nor a feeling, nor the sense of anything emanated from this figure. Just a complete void of anything. It reminded her for a brief moment of the feeling she got when Mizuki disappeared without a trace in the forest.

The moment was lost on her as her and Kyo made their way to the center of the crowd. The Uchiha silently acknowledge the presence of one of his clansmen, Date, as he made his way through the crowd. Kyo had spotted an acquaintance of his, Shizuka Ichimi, bothering some of the Iwagakure contestants. Kyo wasn't one to directly involve himself in these matters, so for the moment he sat back, idly awaiting the Hokage's next announcement.

Kaijin Otsutsuki

Kai was not late, he had been observing the entire time. He stood off to the side of the crowd on the outskirts, easily noticeable by anyone doing the same as he was. His face was stern and unmoving, barely even blinking as he watched the crowd as a whole. He made no effort to hide his presence from anyone, nor did he make any attempt to engage another in conversation.

The drunken Shinobi from Iwagakure and her kin were preying on the naive Senju of his generation. Another one of his generation, whom he recognized as Shizuka, made his flashy entrance on his ball of wind. The ensuing gust ruffled Kai's ghostly white hair and his matching attire. Even by this, he was unmoved and simply gazed onward.

Two other Shinobi were observing the whole escapade of the exams unfold just as he was, though they were making small commentary to each other about the event. Another Iwa-nin observed his drunken comrades as well, seemingly judging them. There were a pair of Uchiha amongst the crowd, one of whom was accompanied by an attractive young girl at his side. A few others of note were scattered about the crowd, but the final one of note was the grim-reaper looking character that was doing his best to blend into the crowd. It was he that Kai made the biggest note of, despite his relative lack of presence.
