He lowers his hand, and the spell drops. "They insulted me to my face. They spat insults at me, but then they insulted Mary. I don't care what you all think of me. But insult her, and the ones responsible will suffer my.....displeasure." He lets more red power gather at his fingertips, and stares down the whole bar, fangs bared.

He snarls in anger, and raises his hand. Jory and Aj both feel their hearts stop for a moment as a wave of blood magic takes control of them. "Silence." The whole bar goes quiet, seeing him moving them around like a pair of puppets. "Take back what you said about Mary, and you'll live. You call me the monster, but you're no better, you blasphemous heathens." Glowing points appear on their bodies, and they burn with white hot intensity. "Do you want me to start killing others outright? It would be so easy. Simpler then getting up."

"No. I care what one person thinks. The rest of you?" He shrugs. "You can't stop me from doing what I want. And I didn't take any jobs, personally kill others, or destroy families. That was done by others, because I was there to blame. I almost never leave my home. You'd know if I did." He chuckles. "And yes, I do own the homes. They owed me a debt. When they couldn't pay, the homes were repossessed. You wouldn't say this if it was a bank repossessing it, would you? You only claim that because I'm a easy target for your anger." He runs a finger around the rim of his glass. "If I really cared, do you honestly think you'd still be alive?"

He shrugs. "You make it sound like I care if you hate me. Almost everyone here hates me, yet you don't see me batting an eye." He stares Aj in the eyes. "Would you rather I drained you all? I could have. Yet you lived." He calmly sips his drink. "I didn't, 'turn the city upside down', I took back what was mine to begin with. The land all belongs to me, legally. I simply came back for my inheritance."
