Progressive Arcanum

That was an enjoyable read and I agree with what Excidius said about putting in to perspective about the strengths of the Masgistrava. It also made me realize that Adam is an even bigger concern for some of the teachers considering he took 5 years to gain and upperclassmen's skills in every aspect of magic they could teach. He probably look likes a magical time bomb with the way he flaunts with his limits. I also liked reading about her analytically mind considering the similarities to the quality of his magical senses.

Yesterday had been a minor let down for him. He had spent an hour seeking for someone to talk with but ended up empty handed and had chosen to retire to his room early. With his high grades in the ludicrous amount of classes he took gave him pick of the litter when it came to room choice, rather than taking the most extravagant room however he took the largest one they offered to students. It was a rather unfurnished room filled with books on magic, a modest bed in one corner and a small table and a reading book in the other. He spent a couple hours reading before getting some sleep. The next morning he got up shortly after dawn and after a small breakfast went outside to get in some practice.

He started off with a minor stress test of his limits, He would slowly gather as much of one energy type as he could before his instincts started to warn him of danger before slowly burning through all of the gathered energies with minor spells. he would repeat this three times doing his best to note any differences in the gathered amount over the three times then he would try weaving together more complex spells as quickly as he manage, then he would spend some time just practicing enunciation as well as memorization of the more esoteric words for chants. After that a twenty minuet break for a light snack then another set of everything he had done already.

Currently he was cooling down with another stress test, he was sitting cross legged his eyes closed with a small ball of fire, a small ball of lightning and, a small ball of water floating around him, he also had a small field around him in which he was scanning for surface thoughts as well as his sense of smell and touch had been heightened by a small factor. He was planning on holding these spells until either there was some backlash for the constant expenditure of magic, that someone came up to him, or the opening ceremony started which ever came first.

What good are fire balls against a body that heals at a factor of 20 times normal? and how much good does it to put something to sleep the needs only a few seconds of rest each week? Monks can be very potent if applied in the right way, but hen again so can everything in this system, tis why I enjoy it.

Also I'm finally back and done with the Con, so i'll no longer be lurking

I'm still here, and still a thing, I promise. I'll hold off posting until the next day in the Rp I guess, but I'll keep lurking till then. *slinks back to the shadows*
