Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!



Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

In Digimon Vs. Pokemon: Who Likes Which More? → 10 yrs ago Forum: Spam Forum
I got bored today, so I made this: A Battle as old as Time Itself: Pokemon, one of the most popular game series in history, and still running after 20 years. Vs: Digimon, often called a ripoff of Pokemon (No clue why, the only thing in common between the two is that there are kids with monsters), but still an unforgettable experience. Which one is more popular among the people, let's see what we come up with.

My Opinion:

Digimon > Pokemon

Reason: Digimon has always appealed to me more since the first time I watched it. Pokemon has been running a wash, rinse, repeat cycle of "New Region, New Pokemon, as well as not aging their characters at all. Digimon is much different, often completely throwing away all we knew about Digimon when they add in something brand new. And I enjoy the overall darker mood of Digimon than the lightheartedness of Pokemon.

Also the fact that people still say Digimon is a ripoff of Pokemon, when it clearly is not. Pokemon started as Pocket Monsters Red and Green, while Digimon started off as Tomagatchi for boys. Both evolved differently, with Pocket Monsters taking on the shortened name of Pokemon, and the small Tomagatchi toys becoming what Digimon is today.

And the fact that Digimon ages their characters over time, unlike "10 Year Old Ash Ketchum, the eternally 10 Year Old Kid that defies all science and logic." There is the Ho-Oh Theory, but I'd really find it interesting how he would grow up over time, but that most likely won't happen. Digimon, however, is something you can watch evolve throughout each series. Such as Adventure, Adventure 02, and the recently released Adventure Tri. You watch the characters grow up as they still have to fight with their Digimon, meeting new characters, watching old ones die off, it's much more complex and exciting than Pokemon is nowadays.

That's my opinion of it, what's yours?

Legendaries at War


Welcome! After the flop of my previous attempt at creating this, I've decided to try again. With much more experience with RPGuild, and Pokemon as a whole, I think I can get this off the ground now. So let's hit it.




Plot




"Near the beginning of recorded history, there was an era of great peace and prosperity across the Pokemon world. Protected by the Legendary Pokemon, and governed over by the Legendary Council, there was no strife, no conflict. A nearly Utopian society. That would soon change."

"One of the Legendary Pokemon, Mewtwo, suddenly held great darkness in his heart. He demanded to be appointed to the Legendary Council, but the council refused. He vowed vengeance, and left. Several months later he returned, and requested once more to be appointed. He threatened war if his demand was not met. Once more they refused, and Mewtwo made good on his promise."




"He struck quickly, building up an army large enough to conquer the world, which was his intent. The Legendary Council knew they had to stop him, and called together the Legendary Pokemon for an emergency meeting of the Council."

4. Combat should be fairly simple, but if necessary I will use a D-20 System. Hopefully it won't come to that though

5. Collaboration Posts (Two or more people making a single post) are allowed

6. Keep any arguing between RPers in a private chat, unless it's imperative to the RP

7. Have fun, post often if possible

Sorry I haven't had much time with this, I've been busy with other RPs and Schoolwork, among other things. But it seems Mystery Dungeon is wanted more, but there was some support for Legendary Guardians. I'm gonna give this a few more days while I work out the details for this, see if anyone else is interested in these RPs.

It was a small chamber, enough room for everyone to sleep, with a small table in the center with what looked like normal bread and fruit. Brent didn't really expect meat to be there, and he didn't want to poke the question, so he went and sat on one of the chairs in the room. Angemon had then turned to Derrick who had pegged a question about medical supplies.

"We have a good supply, but most of the time it's too late to do anything with. In this day and age, against those tyrants, there are rarely any that make it back to receive any treatment... that is something we haven't discussed much with you all, how our deaths work. You see, we never truly die, our data is just compiled into items called Digieggs. However, the process of returning to what we once would have been is a long one, which is why our numbers are diminished so low..."

So Digimon don't really die, they come back eventually? There's finally something that humans could never possibly do, unless you believed in Buddhism or something... The amount of fruit on the table was enough to let everyone have a piece, even the Digimon. Brent grabbed three pieces and a few pieces of bread, not a whole lot, and handed some to Agumon and Gabumon, but kept one piece of bread and one piece of fruit for himself.

"Brent, you sure you're fine with that little food?"

"Yeah, I'm sure, I've trained myself off of needing to eat so much because of my working with computers. Sometimes I'd just have that one computer that I'd have to completely take apart, put back together, and sometimes do it again. That takes a while, and I'd usually forget to eat."

As the rest of the group came in, Gabumon looked and saw Kazero and Tsunomon near the back. Tsunomon had one of the best Poker faces around, but even Gabumon could see through it. He was up to something. He finished his food quickly and walked over to him.

"Tsunomon, I know something's up, you can't fool me. Whatever it is, just don't get in trouble, okay? I don't want to lose my only brother here. You'd better not be planning anything crazy. And... definitely try to get along with Kazero for now, okay?"

That was a question Diaboromon wasn't even sure of the answer, and once again he decided to answer with the truth.

"Unfortunately I'm unsure about any other Digidestined. You see... earlier I allowed myself to be overcome with rage, that rage is what caused me to hunt down the rebels here. I haven't been back to the fortress in hours myself, so I've got no clue what they're up to."

It was true, but he had a feeling that something had gone on over there. He wasn't sure what, but something... but what did the PawnChessmon say? Only one of the Digidestined has achieved Digivolution? This was great news, if he could discover the location of this base, he could end this threat before it began. That is, IF he could, even the human said it would be nearly impossible to find it again. He slowed his pace suddenly.

"We are here. The Fortress of the Council."

Nestled between two massive mountains was an equally massive stone brick fortress, heavily guarded by powerful Digimon such as Devimon and SkullSatamon. Several stood at attention and saluted as Diaboromon entered the compound, with his forces and the human in tow. Within this fortress, the Council was even more untouchable than ever. Then he remembered what Tactimon had said before...

"You let your overconfidence cloud your judgement, Do Not Get Ahead of Yourself, Diaboromon..."

"I have to admit he was partially right about that, but what good does all the power do If you don't feel like you can use it? I'm not any Sovereign who could "Only use their power when it was something only they could do". I have the right to a little overconfidence, seriously..."

The thoughts rambled on through his head as he entered the main part of the fortress, and began heading for the Council's main chambers.
