[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

Well, I said I needed to get a Male Character in this, and this is what I came up with. I looked back at all of the different characters I've created, and I don't think I've gone one quite like this one before.

He's a Luxio born with the name Ligero. He has a nickname, Fuse. He believes he's shamed himself by failing in each task he does, and does not dare return to his tribe for fear of shaming them. So, until he feels he's redeemed himself, he'll never return to his tribe.

Ligero "Fuse"

Gender: Male

Pokémon: Luxio

Ability: Intimidate

Moveset:
  • Spark
  • Thunder Fang
  • Bite
  • Discharge

Personality: He gained the nickname "Fuse" because, well, he's got a short fuse. He's got a small temper, but if something truly eats at him, it doesn't take long for him to get angry. However, it takes something BIG to get him angry. Something like someone getting mugged in an alley, or a brutal four versus one battle. He's normally pretty relaxed, and is happy to help out someone in need. Other than his quirks, he's a pretty normal young Luxio. Except... he considers himself an outcast from his tribe due to his many failures, and has decided not to return until he feels he has redeemed himself.

Backstory: He doesn't remember much about where he was born, they didn't stay there long. He was born to parents in a nomad Luxray Tribe, always on the move across the Desert Continent. His childhood was a fairly normal one, except for one thing: a long standing feud between his tribe and a tribe of Manectrics and Electrikes who lived on the same land. Almost every day there was some kind of battle raged. This was the one thing he hated about his family, which helped lead to his short temper in these situations.

Eventually he became old enough to set out on his own, which was kind of a right of passage for the Luxray Clan. He was sent out to find an artifact that belonged to the Luxray Clan, which was stolen by the Manectric Clan long ago. He tracked the artifact across the Desert Continent, but failed to find its location. Eventually, the trail went cold.

He came upon a rather large town, though, and found out about Pokemon Law Enforcement. He applied to become an officer, where he trained and eventually evolved into Luxio. However, he failed when his attitude was put to the test in a number of scenarios. Another failure. He'd failed his tribe, and he'd failed himself. He wouldn't return until he had righted his wrongs, he decided.

After that, he traveled the land alone. He'd grown used to it by now. At least, until his supplies were stolen by a gang of Outlaw Pokemon. It looked like he was finished. But he would be saved by Guildmembers from the Folio Town Guild. They brought him to Folio, where he finally had a chance to right his wrongs. He would end up joining the Guild as a solo member, not wanting to burden anyone with his personal dilemma. And that has been where he's stayed ever since.

Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Observation Platform]

@Ninian @Light Lord
This Lilisette girl seemed nice enough, it was always good to have another kid like this around town. Although by all appearances the town was almost a paradise, there was a lot of trouble brewing with the younger generation. When she mentioned the dancing troupe, Ember was about to respond when the stranger appeared behind them.

Selena nearly lost it, of all things someone could do to scare the timid grass type, silently sneaking up behind them and then speaking up out of nowhere was near the top of it. If this was a normal day, she probably would have taken off running at this point, but she had a friend with her. Although she had a bit of a temper, she was still her friend. Her first real friend. She felt stronger just by being near her, but that didn't stop her from shaking all over or being completely freaked out.

Ember saw this, placing her paw on Selena's, trying to comfort her a bit. Finally the cloaked figure departed, and Selena breathed somewhat of a sigh of relief. She looked over to the others apologetically. "Sorry... growing up the way I did... I'm not good with surprises either..." Ember looked over to her new friend. "You don't have to be sorry about who you are. Everyone's the way they are for a reason, although some reasons I haven't figured out yet..." She said, somewhat making a reference to Bruce.

"That was very sudden though... I even jumped a bit when whoever that was started talking... but yeah, that dancing troupe, I've seen it a few times. It wasn't exactly my taste, but I've never been one for those kind of performances personally." Selena looked over towards the Town Square. "I've never actually seen it... I tended to avoid Town Square whenever possible up until recently... but it sounds nice."

So he was a Flygon... interesting. Well, it would make sense, being where they were. She'd heard that Flygon were sometimes called the Spirits of the Desert back in the ancient times. And he was intellectual... she wasn't too sure what he meant by that. Anyone could be intellectual, but there were different degrees. You had your Dungeon Researchers, those who were smart in their field but could hold themselves in a battle. Then there were flat out Bookworms, those who've read about dungeons and knew everything about them but had never set foot in one. She would expect the first, considering it took great strength to earn the title of Guildmaster.

"Sounds like a really nice guy, can't wait to meet him. That is, if he's here of course." She said, having seen no sign of the Flygon Guildmaster yet. Karaha was leading her and Gren towards a staircase up to a set of doors it looked like. He said it was Glyph's Study. Maybe he really was the bookworm type...
Telepathy isn't even a Psychic Move or normal Ability. It's literally projecting your thoughts into another's. There should be no resistance to it at all.

And the Master... if he wants to show himself, he will. I doesn't feel the need to right now. Plus, SUSPENSE! Who is The Master? When will he reveal himself? XD

And as for levitating him with Psychic Power, that just goes to show that types don't even matter to him. And in my next post as him, he'll give a little background, not too much though.
Rico and Lulu the Riolu Twins
[Lilac Meadow]

@Iatos @Polaris North @Light Lord @Ninian
Cat's Grace... he just couldn't understand why they were like that. He looked over to the concerned group behind him. "Lulu's not hurt, at least, not physically... She's completely afraid of Pokemon like Galvantula and Ariados..." He stopped, moving out of earshot of Lulu to tell the rest. "It wasn't too long ago, an Ariados broke into the Guild trying to find some of our rumored treasure. He scared poor Lulu half to death, then dad came in and that creep ended up locked up for months. But that scare he gave her that night... she's never gotten over it. It might be too much for her..."

Then they heard a scream, a very familiar scream. "That was Krissy!" Said Rico, rushing forward. He knelt down by his sister, who had finally stopped shaking when she heard the scream. "Lulu, you don't have to go on if you don't want to, I know..." His sister stood up tall. Where fear had been now there were flames of anger. "Those... those... creeps better not have laid a single paw on Krissy!" She yelled, looking over to her brother. "Fear or no fear, Krissy needs my help. I'm not running away, and that's that." She said with a steady and strong voice.

Rico smiled and turned to the rest of them. "That's why you don't mess with her friends." Lulu looked around her, so many of her friends, good friends, best friends, all had tried to comfort her. She would have been on the verge of tears if the flames in her eyes hadn't dried them up. "You guys are the best, thanks. Now let's go find Krissy!"

Omen the Absol
[Lilac Meadow]

@Iatos
He'd seen that Shinx before, that was Tzerah's kid. Last time he'd seen him was when he was barely learning how to walk, how could he have gone so south so fast? The way he treated the other kids, the way they made a joke of a rescue... he wouldn't stand for it. So, he wouldn't. He'd give those little brats a good scare. He'd also tell Spirit about that conversation, and have him rethink their team. In a blink of an eye, he was gone. He had moved into the bushes, just ahead of the group.

When he heard them approaching, he fired off a quick Night Slash in their general direction. He made sure to make it look like it was coming right at them, but made sure it was off enough to miss them even if they couldn't dodge in time. He then spoke in a low, demonish voice that he used to tell ghost stories to little kids. "You Kids don't know what you're getting into, go home to your mamas while you still have a chance." Then, like that, he vanished again. He reappeared back where he had began, watching the others carefully from afar.

The Master
[Infinity Mountain Peak]

@Iatos
He chuckled softly. He had no need of a pitiful move like Miracle Eye to speak to him. Granted he hadn't expected the resistance to be so strong, but with a flick of his mind, immunity was a thing of the past. "You were bold to come here, even after being warned away. I must ask why you were so compelled to come to a place where you had no business. It wasn't... that you wanted to battle with me was it?"

He raised his hand still hidden from view, and a powerful psychic aura surrounded the Tyranitar. It paralyzed him, leaving him defenseless, as he lifted him into the air with great ease. He considered tossing him around like a ragdoll, but that would be overkill. Instead he let him float there, unable to move anything but his mouth's words. "You intrigue me, behemoth. I should wonder why you didn't receive my message before. You would have been one of the most powerful to arrive, but seeing the strength of your resistance impressed me. But now... what to do with you..."

The group climbed higher and higher, finding no Pokemon but signs of, not a battle, but an all out war. "Jeez, if that Master guy did all this, why do you think he's making us go after the boss?" Asked the Machamp, climbing up to the next floor. "Probably couldn't finish the job. Even super powerful guys like that have limits, maybe he was worn out from the hoard. Anyway, I find it easier not to question an employer such as this. Let's just get this job done."

Suddenly the Bisharp stopped, looking up the next set of cloud stairs. There wasn't another room there... it was sky. This was it, this was where Rayquaza was. "This could be it, boys. Let's let the others catch up, then we go in full force. Remember the plan." The two nodded, staying on their guard as they waited for the others.

The Hippowdon had taken the lead, growing impatient of their slow progress. He finally turned a corner to find the rest of their team waiting at the exit. He took this as they were ready. He said nothing, but moved over to them.
Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Observation Platform]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Ember heard how he talked about Bruce. She had to say, from first appearances, yes, he was like that. But he wasn't bad at the heart, he was just misguided. "Bruce. That's the Hitmontop that said those things. He's not by any means a bad Pokemon, he just doesn't understand Pokemon like Selena. I've been trying to change his views, but... it's gotten on my last nerve." She said, causing the flames on her back to flicker a bit, not igniting fully. "It would be fully his mistake if he breaks that nerve, last one who did that I accidentally put in the medical hut for a few days... I won't go into detail."

She then realized she had completely ignored the young Kirlia. "I'm sorry, nice to meet you Lilisette. You look around our age, am I right?" She asked. It was rare to see an oddly colored Pokemon, especially in these parts. Well, there was Karaha, but he lived here. Alright, it's rare to have an oddly colored Pokemon come to Folio. "My name's Ember, by the way." She finished.

"I'm... Selena..." Said the Bayleaf shyly. She stayed mostly quiet after that. She barely got out what she said before. And with this new Pokemon here too, she was surprised she wasn't shaking already.

Breeze the Shaymin
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian
The Umbreon led her to a massive building. Well, massive in comparison to the rest of the town. They ventured deeper inside, finding Pokemon hard at work everywhere. "This reminds me so much of Wigglytuff's Guild in Treasure Town, everyone looking happy and getting their work done." Looking around, she noticed the staircase that the Umbreon had pointed out. Then she realized something.

"So... what's Guildmaster Glyph like? What kind of Pokemon is he? I can wait and see for myself, but I'm just so curious." Now that she knew there was a Guild here, she thought maybe she could really start anew. Her time in Treasure Town is a time she'll cherish, so if this was anything like it, she was all for it.
@Iatos The Master hasn't yet revealed himself to anyone yet, by the power of some kind of plot bullshit he can hide himself quite easily.
Rico and Lulu, the Riolu Twins
[Lilac Meadow]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Polaris North @Iatos
Rico was on guard now as his sister recovered from her phobia spell. When he heard voices and rustling behind them, he immediately moved to the rear, moving into his Counter stance. He scanned the area with his Aura (which wasn't very strong since he was still learning to control it). However, what he sensed wasn't an enemy. He opened his eyes and looked down the path, seeing Zaru, Milton, Celty, and Devon. "Phew, it's just you guys. I thought we might have been getting flanked or something."

He looked around, making sure there was no one else in the area. He saw none, and didn't exactly feel anything hostile nearby, but he didn't relax. His sister was still semi-freaking out. "No... no spider... brave... have to go..." She couldn't even form a proper sentence at the moment. Her friends were around her, trying to comfort her and help her, but it wasn't really working.

Team Two
[Sky Tower]

@floodtalon @Polaris North
"So there isn't anyone here... except the great Lord of the Skies up top there I'll bet. Wonder what happened to all the guards..." Said Bisharp, looking around inside the massive cloud tower. "Who cares? Makes it easier for us to make it to the top!" Said the Machamp. "Hmm, Someone Powerful was here, recently." Said Beartic, looking at a scorch mark that had somehow remained on the cloud walls.

Suddenly a loud voice boomed through the tower. "So, you have returned, and have brought more! Has slaughtering my guards and bringing chaos to my domain not satisfied your appetite, you monster?! So be it. I await your arrival, you trespassers, on the top floor, where you will meet your end by my hands!"

On the floor with Valentine and Drago, Hippowdon simply looked upwards. "Well, he knows we're here now. No sense in being sneaky anymore I guess." He said with a grumble, moving forward up the next flight of stairs.

The Master
[Infinity Mountain Peak]

@Iatos
It had been about an hour since they had departed, and The Master was growing impatient. Then he felt a presence below him. A strong presence. He reached out with his Psychic Power and felt into his mind, his heart. Such darkness he felt, emotions twisting and turning, but overall being ignored. He felt like one who had looked death in the eyes, and spat into them. He liked this...

He shot a telepathic message to this being. "You. You trespass on my current domain. Leave now, or I cannot tell you what will happen to you." He partially meant what he said, but more it was a test, to see if he would stop and turn back, or continue on undaunted. If he turned back, then he was not worth his time. If he continued on, he may prove to be a valuable asset.
So it's kind of obvious that @Noklu has disappeared (Last Online 19 Days Ago). Since this is the case, his character will pretty much disappear from the RP. The reasoning behind this will be that he was sent back to the Human World by the same force that brought him here, which will remain unnamed for now.

That will leave Devon as the only human left, so now instead of the fate of the world being on two sets of shoulders, it's on one. No pressure...
So my characters are an interesting bunch:

A Shaymin whose emotions are swirling around in her head like a whirlpool

A Bayleaf who'd probably run away at the sight of a leaf falling, and who is treated like an outcast by most of the kids her age

A Quilava whose got somewhat of a hot temper, but really only wants to help people.

And I just realized they're all girls... I need a male character here somewhere... I gotta think about this one...
Breeze the Shaymin
[Folio Town - Town Square]

@Ninian @Lucius Cypher
With Robel finally being taken away by the Town Healer, Leanne the Meganium now turned her attention to searching out her now missing daughter. She was always so shy and easily hurt by a few simple words.

Breeze, on the other hand, was greatly intrigued by this "Guildmaster Glyph". She wondered what he was like, what kind of Pokemon they were even. She'd seen quite a few interesting Guildmasters during her travels, one of the most perplexing being Wigglytuff of the Treasure Town Guild. "Oh, yes, just a second." She said, quickly breaking off and heading back into The Blue Treeko.

She picked up her previously ordered meal, taking note that the Lampent, Veronica she thought it was, seemed to have vanished. She didn't have a second thought, though. Ghost types generally kept to themselves, and tended to disappear from time to time. She wouldn't worry about it, she had more important things to worry about. She quickly returned to the Umbreon's side. "Alright, now I'm ready. I had to get my food, after all." She said, holding a small bag in one hand, grabbing out a few pieces of the Oran Berry Salad with the other. She delicately munched on the small pieces of salad as she floated alongside the Umbreon.

"I really am sorry about... all that back there. I really haven't been myself, that's kind of another reason I came out here. Start fresh, try to find a new perspective on life or something like that." She admitted.

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Near Observation Post]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Strolling along the branches, the duo were coming up on the main town of Folio when they spotted two Pokemon in the Observation Post. One they had both seen back at the scene of Robel the Heliolisk, a Totodile that neither had really known or seen before. "You know something, Selena? That Totodile actually stood up for you back there. I heard him yelling at Bruce after I took off after you." Said Ember, looking at the two of them. "I've never seen that Kirlia though, I think she came in after I left or something."

The two were still our of earshot of the duo in the Observation Post. "Should I... thank him? I don't know..." Ember smiled and pointed in the direction of the two. "I think so. And don't worry, I'll be with you. Just relax." Ember replied. Selena nodded nervously and the two approached the two. They caught bits of the chat, but couldn't understand what they were talking about as they hadn't caught the main context of the conversation.

"Excuse me, I... I wanted to thank you. Ember said you... you stood up for me back there. No one's really done that for me before... so... thank you..." She stuttered, looking over to Ember, who helped ease her nervousness with a smile.
