I was planning something like that. I'm trying to figure out matchup bonuses/penalties. Like higher tier characters will have a +1 on most match-ups.

You can limit affecting the gravity on people to touch. That way you need to get to them before you can lock them down.

You can affect gravity around you to affect only you, ensuring you still get all the benefits that come with it.

It depends on fighting style. Ruby possesses a semblance that's both powerful and flashy, so you often see her use it only for really flashy finales. Weiss' is a more versatile and simpler one, that allows her to use it almost constantly, and Yang's semblance is passive, while Blake uses hers as a utility.

The main team already gives you four different ways you can make a semblance. Jack falls into Blake's category, but the upgrade I'm thinking of can double it as Ruby's category too.

@Eklispe, I think you just limited your Semblance a little much but that's it, it's actually pretty okay considering your character. Imagine doing a diving kick with hugely buffed gravity? The impact would be insane. Several seconds at a time is plenty when you consider how quick a kick can pass. Even in straight combat, you can give some of your blows defense-breaking properties with it, and you can even use the gravity to extend your jumps, or make yourself fall faster, or slower, you can lock someone down with it too. Gravity is pretty strong if you know how to use it.

I wonder if getting a bunch of throwing knives is considered a minor or major armory upgrade. They'll all be able to channel Jack's "Lightning Rod" special ability, so that he doesn't always have to wait for the right situation and environment.

Then there's also I'm considering some kind of upgrade for his semblance. I call it the Railgun, where he can charge the impact of his next semblance dash, allowing him to do insane damage, and extend the range based on how long he charges, allowing him to snipe and assassinate.

Upon feeling a touch on the back of his head he instantly doubled back into a dash and a rotation. It was Mokuren. Speak of the devil.

"Goddamnit, just say you're there...", he sighed, relaxing, taking his hand off his blade. She moved quite silently... Honestly he'd rather prefer she use those skills a little more wisely. In any case, they were all here, so that means it was time to go home.

"Well anyways, let's head back, I'd like something to eat", he walked up onto the transport and took a seat, waiting for everyone else to get on board too. So what to do now...? Guess they earned themselves a little break. He learned a lot about his skills and limits in just a single mission though... Imagine how much more he could learn in even more missions? The thought excited him, but he'd much prefer something to eat now.
