And you just outed yourself as childish as hell Lucius.

Congratulations.

That aside its hard to not offend anyone these days and to do things based on whether or not you're offended is incredibly childish and you're stepping into Tumblr territory.

Put aside how offended you are and do what is right, instead of acting like a child.

I won't tell you to stop, but I want to make sure you know how big of a baby you're being.
Pretty sure that chick is from one of the animes in this currently-ending season.

I forgot which one...
I was very tempted to go directly into hostility, you may not have noticed it having written the posts yourself, but they were bordering into hostility and were passive aggressive.

That aside, Seraphs makes a legitimate point. One of the problems is that our characters can be pretty much right next to each other and not know it due to lack of context in some posts.

Would you rather I asked everyone properly put setting and position context into their posts via writing?

Or would you rather I asked everyone to just put a goddamn label at the top of their posts?

Even I know how unreasonable the first option is, which is why I just would prefer everyone put 1-3 words at the top of their post? Seriously. Is that so hard? It's why we have a calendar in human civilization, why we have page numbers, why we have titles, why we have categories, why alphabetical order exists.

SO WE CAN KEEP BLOODY TRACK OF EVERYTHING.

EDIT: Seriously, this is driving me mad. I just can't understand why you WOULDN'T do it. I know the reason, you're even lazier than I am, or you're just insufferable, or something completely different. I just don't understand it.
I can then say the same. You're saying you can't put out ten seconds to label your character's location? Takes less time than it takes to check the conference doc, and saves everyone else time.

Jokes aside with an Rp where characters can be in different locations and of this size, doesn't it make sense to do this?
But you do need to accommodate for other players as a whole. I'm sure this would make it easy for newcomers too. You can't argue with that.
I'm sorry but some of us would prefer to use those few moments of clicking and scrolling to do something more fun.

Like browsing imgur.

Your bloated ego aside, I don't see why you guys can't do it. The players in my Persona RP do it flawlessly. I think you all have a little too much of an ego or are rather inconsiderate at times is what.

In any case I do hope this will be the last time I mention this, because this I think counts as the 3rd time, and I hope there will not be a 4th or onward time.
<Snipped quote by Lugubrious>

I don't think he's talking about you specifically but those people that don't set out there locations in there headers a number of them also aren't exactly clear about which class they are going to. They'll say something along the lines of:

"Jimmy pushed open the class door and sat down near the front of the room so he'd have a good view of the teacher."

Just from this we have no real idea what class Jimmy is in and I'd imagine it gets pretty tiring crosschecking each post you read with the conference dock. I just usually keep in mind which characters are in my classes and which aren't. Then I'll usually skip over other class posts.

That is precisely what I mean. Sometimes if they're midway through class they'll make no reference at all and suddenly their post is applicable to almost any context. By having the class/mission/location labels they may keep doing this while having proper setting and context.

Also yes. Lugio, I didn't think I had to spell it out for you, but seeing as you have so much faith in the conference document, I'll need to say it clearly.

Crosschecking the document over and over again is tedious and annoying. I thought it was kind of obvious, but apparently not. So yeah, checking it all the time just to remind yourself who is in your class is tedious.

Why? Well for starters, in an actual classroom do you really need to check the class rosters to know who is in your class? No, you ought to be able to look around and see who is in it to know.

Also props to the people using the location labels. Keep doing it. Please. Not everyone will do it immediately, but if we keep at it, eventually everyone will.

I'm just waiting for Grimm Studies students right now.
Its more I'd rather not dig through a wall of text to figure out what the character is doing or at.

Because no one ever properly sets out the setting in any way in their posts.

I'd rather use my time to skim effectively rather than using it to figure things out which would've been instant if everyone labelled everything properly. Its not a problem with a small playerbase, but we don't have a small playerbase.
You know you could still be creative. Just make sure you include location/class and other important info?
When I was mentioning class rosters I did mean the google doc. Again we can't remember the whole thing off the top of our heads, it's somewhat unreasonable to ask us to do that.

I also didn't mean everyone. There are some people who do it. But for something like this, just some people is just as confusing as no one doing it.

Also going to borrow that quote and make it bigger for emphasis.

Everyone, please stop using the title bars creatively. The point is to tell who you are and, more often than not, where you are.

Its also funny how most people were using the title bars properly during lunch time but suddenly throw it out the window for classes where its more important.
