Well that's a handsomely big wall of text. Have you thought about cutting it up with categories? Still reading it, but categorization is a nice thing to get into the habit of doing.

That said I express interest. I happen to already have a Labrynnian knight character.
We seem to be in consensus.

@Double We should definitely move along now.
I know, but I mean to say if we don't get moving, eventually someone just might give their life story.
Sigurd
Oasis Resistance

Sigurd simply stood patiently outside of the headquarters, leaning against the wall beside the doors, watching the horizon. Despite dire circumstances calling everyone to action and soon to depart for the fortress, based on the noise inside it was rather cheery. Suppose especially during dark times such as this, some light-heartedness was needed most. He silently stood outside waiting for the commander to signal that it was time to go, as it seems most everyone was here.

He stood up straight. A curious sight on the horizon, entrance of the village... At first it looked like a Sheikah patrol dragging some kind of monster based on the black heap, but as it got closer, he recognized that this was in fact a person, or at least, shaped like one. As soon as they got close, the person was then identified as a knight, based on the armor. It was black, charred, or corrupted, but one thing stood out, still gold and brilliant was the symbol of Hyrule, if not a little scratched, identifying him as a Hylian knight. Just what did they make those Hylian armors and shields out of...?

Sigurd immediately took a battle stance out of habit, grabbing the hilt of his giant blade on his back, ready to bring it out as the black knight struggled, and let out a primal roar. The first intelligible word he spoke was "Ganon", albeit a lot louder and stressed. Ganon... Yes he knew who that was, as did everyone here. The dark lord that caused this chaos and ruin. So his enemy was Ganon as well. Even as the knight simply yelled, even Sigurd felt it, the fury and hatred... At the same time though, he felt a golden light and warmth around his chest... The piece of the triforce was reacting? He spotted a golden glow on the knight's hand... Did this knight have another piece as well?

"Hold knight! We are not your enemy...", wherever they found this guy, he seemed to be quite insane. Was it wise to bring him here? Maybe it was... He may have a piece of the Triforce after all. What was with today... One after another, people with a piece of the Triforce showing up... Still. If they could reason with this knight, he may prove a valuable ally in a fight in the future...
Other RPs I've run or Co-GMed, there's a minimum amount of posts per period of time. Case in point, the D&D RP I'm in demands that I post once every four days, with a secondary rule stating that I must wait for two other posts before posting again.

Now, in order to make that happen during slow periods, it is encouraged that we post about character thoughts, feelings, or small actions in their down time. I had one post where my character farted in a bathtub. It was regarded by many as art (sadly), but it kept interest up in a slow period, even kickstarting others' posts. There's always something to write about, even if you're just waiting out front.

Describe a scarab beetle crawling by. Does it make little swishy tracks in the sand? Quiet scraping sounds against a stone? Is it carrying anything? Trying to hide from the broiling sun? Are you going to step on it? Maybe you're picking your nails with a knife, and/or tapping your foot impatiently. Perhaps you, too, need to let an unstable trouser-growl fly.

Speaking of which: roleplayerguild.com/posts/3214659 Enjoy.

Yes, I believe that the RP needs to progress. In the meantime, a little "getting to know you" or "flavor text" posting isn't going to hurt matters any. May even let our benevolent GM understand that we're still in play, active, and ready to move. Doing nothing says the opposite of this.

I think it's a bad thing if we're to flavor text and "getting to know you" too much. I've seen people expend all of their character development very quickly very early into an RP, and it's like, "bitch this shit just started, I don't need your life story".

I would prefer characters grew by a combination of responding to new developments, and their own musings in their own time. I'm going to post though since our black knight's appearance would be cause for Sigurd to check on what's happening.
Jack Orpheus | Brewing Storm

"That would be best", he answered. He was steadying his breathing, what was he doing... He was trying to think earlier, but that only cost them. Having the survivors carrying Priscilla would free up more man power for them.

"Also we should at least apply first aid, staunch her bleeding so she can last a little longer. The medical supplies are still a ways off, so we need to do what we can... Next, if we're all to survive this everyone needs to work together...", he ordered, but he wasn't done.

"Can you survivors tell me what talents you all have? Perhaps they can be of use", he inquired. They were scientists and workers to be sure, but even if all they had was information of this facility, that was still valuable.

I don't see you posting, so kindly don't point the finger unless you don't mind pointing three more back at yourself.

Because Sigurd's just sitting outside waiting for everyone to get moving. I've basically been waiting for you guys. And don't give me the control Gerik thing either, you literally used Gerik to tell him to stay put until the contingent moves out, so you actually tied my hands here.
As am I.

If you're making a head count this early in the RP, maybe we should start moving faster.

"Surrounded...? But I don't see anyth-", Kami's senses flared and screamed out to him, a familiar sensation, it was the instinct to sense danger. Immediately Kami raised his weapon, he expected nothing to hit it, but there it was, a chipped, sharp blade, held by a bony assassin skeleton. The shadows in front of him unraveled, until finally it was seen in full. The party was already surrounded, as the rest jumped from their shadows and attacked the party. The first order of business, repel the attack.

He summoned forth Zeus and surrounded the party in a Mazio. It didn't seem to do any significant damage, but it kept them from attacking for the moment... Five...? No, six... Seven of them? Before anyone in the party could retaliate, the shadowy assassin skeletons jumped back and disappeared, only their red eyes remained, and in moments even those were gone...

"Ayano, let me know when they approach. We'll intercept them", he requested.

On Ayano's screen the shadows were moving impressively fast... Although she got another reading. It had the same signature as the party members, but she looked around, and no one seems to have run off into the dungeon... So who was it? Still, the battle ahead was what mattered most. She can see the shadows movements, though they were quick, all she had to do was say when one was approaching.
@Sho:

Sorry mate, I have not posted in a long time. Just been procrastinating and drawing out what I need from Alexei. I seem to stick out like a sore thumb in this RP but I promise to read back on what I have missed over the last few weeks and give you my answer in two days. If I am unable to post with this deadline, consider my character an NPC or dead. Whatever suits you.

Send me a PM on what you're feeling honestly. I could probably help out.
