Whoever's late to arriving to the shrine should pick up poor Obariyon at the foot of the stairs.
@Hero Looks pretty good to me. The summons work too. Ravana being the dark god of Escain though would normally not be okay, but considering his relationship with Escain, he's not looked down upon or shunned as much as other dark gods are. Just keep that in mind when using his summon.

Finally, I'd like to note that everyone still making their CS now, keep doing so. Even if the limit is 8, I may let you in anyways over the limit, if your characters will increase the variety, or are good characters with proper longevity.

But everyone who is considering or has not yet started, I'm afraid I cannot accept you, so this is a notification to tell you to not waste your time.

Though that may be the case, it's not uncommon for players to drop either which I completely expect. You can expect entries to open up periodically depending on this.

Thank you.

The summer holidays were nearing their end, it may be an interesting school term to come too. It seems by sheer surprise they're getting a few more onmyouji, it appears they stumbled into this kind of realm of work by coincidence, and today they were going to be briefed on what this job entailed. This many onmyou at once was a little unusual to him though, for awhile it was mostly just him and Niko, which was fine, and manageable. Up until he arrived it looked like it was just Niko doing most of it, and considering her he's surprised she managed to do her job all this time.

For today he largely just idly sat around and played video games like other days in the summer holidays. He'd also only recently took care of all the summer homework, having chosen to do it late in the break, so at least he doesn't have to worry about that.

Well in any case, he showed up on time today, it would not do to have a terrible showing as the senior and by extension teacher. They were here to learn after all. But it also seemed they'll be matched with some yokai too, which surprised him at first... When he joined the agency back in Kyoto, they had pretty much only powerful yokai, so anything he was doing was focused strongly on improving his own powers, until eventually he'd be able to handle one of their yokai. Speaking of which... Where was Kazumi? Well knowing him, he should be here very soon.

"Well whatever, he comes through when it counts", a bond of trust existed. The two were quite similar in some ways, both aloof and took a distanced approach, but stepped in at the right moments. It was quite fitting for a detective.

As he walked up the steps following Niko's introduction to no one as she was quite early, he called out to her as he continued on up the steps,

"I see you're as lively as ever Niko. So, how were your summer holidays?", he inquired. He also saw Kyorinrin and Yukine on the way up, it was rare to see Yukine anywhere you would expect yokai to be, so she was probably also excited to see the new hires, while Kyorinrin was a little worked up, as old men do, and by no coincidence over the same things old men would. He also recalled seeing Obariyon on the way here but it seems the curious little thing would be arriving after him...

Regardless at the moment it was just him and Niko with her shikigami, Tsugu, waiting for the newcomers. None of them have arrived yet, but they were early anyways, so all there was to do was wait.
Deadly Aim will simply ignore defense rather than reduce it on the target, same values. This means this particular bonus will only affect you.

Window to the Soul is... While a cool idea, the max for a Limit Break is 25, and there's no reason your character can break that limit, plus I have no idea where this move came from. There isn't sufficient evidence for it's existence so to speak, and it also seems to designed to kill you but also likely kill another character. While such a move is cool if played properly, the problem here before that is that there's no indication your character would've learned such a thing.

Shadow of the Mountain will initiate immediately once you escape the sights of your opponent, so maybe have a flashbang handy for such a time.

Otherwise this is a pretty interesting high utility type character. That said while all those tools and such don't feel like they'd be Spells, they're also not really techniques... So I guess I'll let you keep them in Spellbook.

So seems mostly fine. Show me again after some changes.
@MysteryBroom Please post your CS here to be approved first?

@Hero I see I see, well I'll look at it again soon as you make the changes. As for summoning, Summoners in general aren't limited to any one, as long as they fulfill the requirements for the god, then they can summon them. In your case, the main gods of your country are the safest bet, most summoners are devoted to only one pantheon, or even a single god. It's really up to you, as long as it's explained properly.
@Queentze Yeah looks good, roll it in.
It'd make us pretty much the A team. If you're set on it, we'll discuss the Kyoto thing.
Oh right, as a previous onmyouji I should already have my shikigami. I was originally matched with Kazumi, which is fine, a formerly incredibly powerful snake yokai that has weakened over the desire to no longer consume and devour actually sounds like a perfect match for Keito as a partner, both morality and character type make them a hard-boiled duo, but I also notice no one else has really properly decided on their pairs either. Given Raging Fenrir's notes on Yukine, she's also a likely candidate, but usability-wise, Kyorinrin's ability to store knowledge in such a manner is useful for a detective.

Hmmmmmmmm. Well those are the strongest matches for me. Waniguchi can weaponize noise, but there's not much synergy besides tangential combat synergy.

But Keito's meeting with them would've been years ago in Kyoto while learning at the Narumi Detective Agency, so I guess whoever is most compatible with that story would be best.
@EnterTheHero Everything's fine, but probably add the formal name for your cross class. Otherwise looks fine to me.

@Queentze I actually have very little to say, there's not much that needs changing, and the dance mechanic is interesting. Fire Sword would actually count as a Technique, Iaido Cutter would count as a Speed/Dex skill, Asura's Riposte should apply when outnumbered by 2 or more instead (so 1 to 3 odds), and Wandering Swordsman's Challenge should apply to anyone else who uses a sword, not just other Samurai.

Otherwise it looks fine to me. No problems with backstories either.

You both are in soon as those changes are made.

Don't forget to join the discord either. There's a link on the first page and this page. If they don't work just PM me.
@Sen Looks okay to me. You can throw it in now.

@Hero I'll start with the combat stuff. Devout is an actual advanced White Mage class name, not a WHM SMN cross, could benefit from a different name here. Regarding Angelic Voice, I think a better trait may be... "Enhance curative and supportive spells by singing". Casting more quickly benefits an offensive mage more than a defensive one. Perhaps your class could be something like "Divine Songstress" instead? Just make your title your class.

Everything in Techniques belongs in Spellbook also, just for being magically-inclined. Techniques are almost entirely physical, or if they're a hybrid skill that has more basis in being a martial attack (eg. A sword slash with fire buff would be a Technique, but a spell that summons a sword to swing would actually be in Spellbook)

You can have multiple Limit Breaks in each level of it, not to mention they also apply to your stats (10/15/25 in strength/cost, respectively LB1/2/3), so be careful on using LB3. So you can be a little more specific about Limit Break 1, Summon, and describe how each would turn out.

Otherwise the spells look okay, and the Opportunity Skills are acceptable. Just regarding revival spells, there are a few rules regarding that. First, it can only be used very recently to when an ally gets incapacitated, and it will prevent them from taking a strike (I'll have stuff on this mechanic soon, but basically everyone has 3 strikes, they take all three and their character will be either killed or permanently unable to fight and be played).

Now the last part is lore side of things. Summoners are a class of faith in the gods they summon, and the human experimentation is more of a thing for Escain than Songdae. Songdae is also Korean as the base for the nation, so your family name doesn't suit it, however you can actually just change everything to Escain and edit around the Summoner thing (perhaps they were trying to make artificial summoners, or mechanical summoners to summon Alexander and so in this case, they'll have ties to the Alexander cult in Escain). If you change those then it should be fine.
