It takes awhile to die, and you have basically 3 strikes before you really do die, but the first two will give you a permanent debilitation based on your wounding. Although stick it out and you'll get a chance to "fix" it. For example you lose an arm? Maybe in a chapter or two you get a chance to get a bionic limb which you can upgrade or put to use for combat.

But generally though it's one new character per chapter per player, so only one for now. I may make a max per player depending on how many players we end up with, but we don't have too many so it should be fine.

I also urge that if you do make multiple characters, try and have them group up with others, otherwise you just multiply my workload. I have limits.
@EnterTheHero Look fine to me, since it's more or less been discussed elsewhere and not too different from previous RP. He should be fine to be added to the list.
It'll still happen, but more players would be a bit more motivating. Few players as long as they stick with it is fine too.

This is the discord by the way. discord.gg/YkMEt42
Still waiting on those characters.

That said I think I'll get the discord going again. I'll link it soon.
Vega Ashcroft

@Reflection@Hitman

Vega stopped in his tracks and looked back at Muko incredulously. Seriously? That's the best he can think of? Give the two of them a glance, and you can tell they're not tourists, hell they're both big names as far as some guilds were concerned. He just wanted to get this job over and done with,

"The hell makes you think they'll buy that? Look at yourself, look at both of us", he pointed out. Given Vega himself looked fairly normal without his cloak, which was formed from his magic, same with his scythe, but Muko with the armor... No one was going to buy 'tourist' from seeing that, more like... Mercenary, or you know, mage, like most people would. Why would it be strange if a mage hunter came asking questions anyhow? Isn't that their problem right? He gave it a bit more thought...

"Well how about this wise guy, you go on in ahead of me, you play good cop, I play bad cop, works out right? That's what we basically are anyway, between us two, huh? We're here to hunt some troublesome mage bothering this guild anyways, what difference does it make if they know we're here hunting a mage or not, if anything they'll probably spill it gladly if it means their problem will go away", to Vega this seemed a good idea, at least he didn't have to act halfway nice to get some words, and just let Muko do the talking, and step in if things get a bit fuzzy. Still... That should not be a problem, if the job is everything the old man had described it as, or if this guild hasn't done anything or have some troublesome people in it. Though as that thought passes through his head it's not as if he can say much if there is someone like that, but one man's problem is another man's opportunity so it goes.
@CaptainSully For them to inflict their status effects, they require... 3 Limit Points for Fire Bolt, and 5 for Rain of Fire. Also regarding 2nd class skill, the defense buff only comes into play while wearing any kind of armor, so do keep that in mind. Otherwise looks good.

@Todd Howard Understood, looks good to me then.

I think it's safe for you two to add your characters to the Character section.

Hopefully, we'll have more people rolling in soon enough.
@CaptainSully Most gear is just either minimal benefit like the frost resistance or no stat benefit, but they do play a part when playing out combat and will affect some things, otherwise there's no major benefit to regular gear. In your case, heavy armor will mean you'll be better at staying standing when sustaining heavy blows.

As a result your second class skill should be more like, zero penalty plus 10% added defense whenever using heavy armor. Up to you.

In regards to your Wyvern, it's skills will simply be as-is, as in it will not scale off of your stats. They'll be regular attacks your dragon can do, so you can assign it a number, but not a stat. I would maybe suggest making them Limit skills instead.

Next is your Restoring Light skill, that's pretty strong for a skill with value of 4, even if at the start you'll debilitate yourself using it (as per the system), because later on you'll basically be able to spam it. I suggest simply turning it into a healing skill. Revives are not common in this RP and usually reserved for the healers and high casters.

@Todd Howard I am assuming Flash deals no damage, so that does pass in that state.

Hoop is a movement impairment like Heavy right? If so then the same rules of Poison/Seizure/Bleed apply to it, just not for damage, but movement impairment.

Party Panic will require 5 Limit Points for instant Seizure infliction, but otherwise it will mainly be damage that scales when you use it.

I am assuming while singing and dancing, your ability to evade is worsened, but you are instead buffing your team mates. That is acceptable, but it means during this, your Quirky Movement will only benefit you by +2 instead.

Otherwise your character doesn't seem to have any other problems.
Well would you look at that.

Following a brutal 20 year long war, ending the use of a now identifiably volatile and unsafe energy nicknamed "Dogma", the world has entered a scientific age of industry, the Industrial Age as scholars have noted it for now. With the emergence of airships as a common form of transport, the invention of the cartridge for firearms already well-known at the time, and the birth of Magitek, has caused society to make leaps and bounds that even it's population fears being left behind. Many however recognize these rapidly changing times as the time to get busy, or truly be left behind.

Your story begins at the cusp of a new age following this era that is about to end. The individuals that will forge the era to come, as heroes, or villains, out of interest, duty, or the thrill of adventure and battle. From the bottom up you will elevate to the levels of legendary heroes and gods, the final frontier of fantasy. Become revered, for your power, for your deeds, or become feared beyond compare.

This is Final Fantasy, Reverence

(Note: It is not required to be allied or from a country to use these classes,
you simply need to have an explanation why you would have them otherwise.)

(More are being added or descriptions are being added)

STRUCTURE

The RP will be structured in parts, separated by the different nations. For example the first part will all take place in Raelin, and then Escain, and then so on. Each part ends when the major story segment ends, and everyone's characters must be moved to the next nation for the start of the next part. After the major story arc for each nation ends, there will be a grace period for everyone to wrap up business or start business that links them to the next nation. Near the end of the each story arc I will inform everyone what the next nation will be.

Though I should not yet worry about that, each story arc is while short in structure, will be expected to last a decent amount of time.

I want to stress the fact that each new nation we go to will be a great chance for people to join, or for you to create a new character.
