Just a heads up, but I am working on the lore of each region.

As I'm writing this post, only the entry for the Lothian Empire has been made.

Lore of Alba
Of course.

Now before I forget, here is the weapon arts and spells, along with the rp mechanics. Affinity will affect the spells you can learn so keep that in mind. The same goes for weapon arts, but I have yet to make those.

And just about everyone else, it's right here.

Character Sheet/System

Class List

Don't worry too much about weapon arts just yet, as well as spells. There's not much you can do about those just yet.
I've sent it to you.

In any case there's enough here to complete a character so if you wanna get writing, feel free.
I have completed the general mechanics. Or rather this is the first draft, so please if you have any questions or input I'd be happy to hear it.

This includes Spells and Weapon Arts.

I'll perhaps be opening up to allowing people to make their own weapon arts as well, under the right conditions.
Assassin is an Expert class. Although your route looks more like it should be Page > Thief or Myrmidon > Assassin > Trickster.

Thief and Myrmidon are both Basic level classes, Assassin is Expert, and Trickster is a Master class.

I'd also like to take the chance to note that you can deviate from this as long as you obtain the Talents to do so. For example you have Sword and Axe as a Mercenary, but also pick up Riding talent somewhere along the way, Cavalier or Paladin becomes open to you as well.

Obtaining your first class of any tier is free, but reclassing is not. However, you get to keep the Abilities you learn from all the classes you have used before, so if there's a class ability you really want or need, it's not a bad idea to reclass for it.
Definitely.

I'll be working on the lore soon starting with the most relevant locales, so if you have questions of either the neutral territories like Zion or Dinas Afaraon, or the overseas areas like the Kingdom of Dyfed, Themyscira, or Suddene, feel free to ask.

Otherwise for Lothian, Reynes, and Lyonesse, those will be coming shortly.

The player count for this RP is pretty flexible given the plan is as we go along, more types of backstories become possible depending on where we are in the story. Death is also a thing. I'll have the rules around character creation and death up later as well.
Short update. All starting classes and basic classes have been decided and written up.

I may complete the Expert classes later, because what's important may be the Spells and Weapon Arts system and how I will be handling it, so I will get to work on that very soon.
They can be from anywhere, but it requires you to have answered the call to arms. It's not just a chance for citizens to fight for their home, the Lothian Empire, but also a chance for mercenaries or soldiers of fortune. So if you're not a citizen of the Empire, then you're likely a mercenary, either from the empire, another one of the other nations, or even overseas in say Dyfed or Themyscira.

Your character can also be one of the soldiers stationed at Garleton, be they Lothian or Reynes.

Naturally though there are limitations, such as being a Lyonesse soldier is not possible... At this point in the RP at least.

As the RP goes on, there will be chances to create characters of different backstories. For example, once the story reaches Lyonesse territory, you can make a character who is a Lyonesse soldier, that has chosen to defect.

So to answer. Yes. They can be from anywhere, within reason.

The ice giant did not falter as the ball of chains smashed against his shin, shattering away an icy armor. As Mesmund rose up to swing away at the titan, he would begin to notice that the ice upon the giant's body was not only active, and regenerative, but also like a kind of armor. The regeneration was not quick, but it could pose some trouble in a more dragged out attack. Thankfully being the kind of fighter he is, he was well-equipped to just smash his way through.

As he was in the air, the ice giant staggered back in response to his strikes, only to come back in again, swinging while Mesmund was suspended in the air. It would not be the only attack mounted against him however, multiple more wide swings of the arm, open clawed palm, attempting to swat him out of the air and then some, before raising his leg up, heaving himself for a gigantic stomp, that would raise pillars of ice around him.
