I wanted Sparks to be hybrid originally, but I remember being talked out of it. *shrug* Hunter is traps, right? And hybrid is a bit of everything? Actually, I think he's a better hybrid than a hunter. The only problem is that he totally lacks desire to kill. He will, but he doesn't like it. And if you're not at /all/ silencer, then you can't be hybrid. This is why the personality stereotypes throw me off.

I dunno if I want to change 'em , though. It's very important to who Bits is, what her specialty is. And Sparks wouldn't be the same without Dancer and his electrical stuff. Not to mention I'd need a new name for him!

@Grif of Hearts Love the specializations. Man, I know I prefer using characters I am familiar with for an rp like this, but I'm wishing more than ever I'd made new chars because everyone is coming up with clever specializations and I'm just using basic elements. ^.^;;

@Rtron Ooh, clever specialties! I would like to point out, once again, that it's very unusual for partners to have consecutive numbers, as old numbers are recycled as their owners die. I mentioned this with someone else, don't know if they changed it, though. Also, I don't know how fine a line Xodus is going to draw between shadows and darkness -- darkness is kind always caused by a shadow, at least on earth, because when it's night it's the earth's shadow that we're in, blocking the sun's light. However, I imagine a darkness user could actually extinguish light, whereas it seems your gal can only modify existing shadows. ^.^

I am slightly concerned about the collars. It seems that any other Asylums around -- and since we're going to be doing a group operation, this would be an important consideration -- would be adversely affected by this, since it doesn't seem to have a targeting capacity. Maybe make it so she can adjust for an individual or wide range? These are just thoughts, of course. It's up to Xodus and Ryver in the end. *may be entirely too eager*

I think Sparks will like Kiara. A LOT. This should be very fun!

@Seeker Hey, the molecular deconstruction/reconstruction is actually banned, at least as a specialty, though in a past rp I've seen something sorta similar used to modify clothing.

@Xodus Might want to clarify manipulation of ferrous substances for those who don't know that means iron and essentially means that character's a metalbender. Don't know if you'd allow another metalbender who can do any metal, for example, so simplifying it might be wise. Also, since we have a pyrokinetic, probably any sort of firebender/fire affinity/whatever is out. Magma/lava might be interesting, however (though I'm not sure how /playable/ that would be...). Additionally, thought manipulation...isn't that some of what Angel does? So it's reserved, not banned, right? With time/space, teleportation is a manipulation of space. We can 'port ourselves...can we 'port objects? I could have sworn you froze time somehow last go 'round, but maybe it was a mental effect and I'm misremembering.

@Vena Sera @Scout You guys have my interest. Scout's someone I know elsewhere on the interwebs, and he linked me. ^.^ I have a bunch of questions before I decide on a character, though. Many of these focus on how magic works, what types of magic are available, and what restrictions there are. Additionally, I'd like to know about playable races/species, and what kinds of creatures are found in the world.
