I am an adult, though I don't usually act like it. I'm a voracious reader, and not overly picky about books. I am artistic in a variety of areas, including music, drawing, writing, and sculpting. I have a minor obsession with dragons, and love the color violet. Fantasy is my preferred genre, be it past, future, urban...as long as it has a fantasy flavor to it. I also like scifi, mystery, and some horror. I am crazy, and I like tormenting my characters. But I don't bite...much. ^.~

@TheUnknowable Mm, true. I often end up doing research when I want to be accurate for things, and even then I know I get stuff wrong.
I think the biggest difference here would be how the character feels about the fight, though. Then again, Americans didn't really know how bad things were under Nazi rule until after the war was over, in many cases.
And you can spell Chanukkah about a dozen different ways in English. =P

@TheUnknowable As a Jew myself, I would not be offended and in fact encourage this, as it will allow better exploration of the world they're living in.

Right, so how about this: during whichever mission ended up being their last, Bel and Izkry split off because sniper and not the best at meshing with the team. Bel makes them uncomfortable. Sparks is her spotter. Anyhow, when the muck hits the fan, they're not with the rest. They do what they can to help, but...something something, maybe an explosion that takes everyone in a certain radius? *shrugs*
With their team eliminated and no good way to proceed, the pair are called back to base, but it's not easy to replace stuff like that on short notice, and they're left at loose ends. They were already permitted to leave Switzerland to join the British venture, so perhaps they are either requested or it is suggested that they go help with the American one.

@Oak7ree I figured. It'd fit still, with some doing...or perhaps my two were separated because reasons -- fluent German and being originally German might play into that. As I said, I need to think on it. Been wanting to yy em, and not getting a ncr, but I might be able to do the possession of objects idea, or one of a couple loose others.
@Oak7ree Surviving the previous mission sounds like a good way of getting their creds vetted. And if the Westminster League had high losses and ran out of funding, they might be invited to the American effort. What do you think?
@Oak7ree It is my belief that since they had only a handful of posts, they count as "new" still.
The fact that they're based/modified from previously played chars is beside the point. But that's true of /most/ of mine. New characters don't happen constantly. ^.^;;
