Shogunate of the True Inheritors
(Izuno Shogunate to Outsiders)

Type of Government: A fusion of Absolute Monarchy and Oligarchy, The Shogun, or the "True" Emperor is the supreme authority within the Dominion, below him however is the Council of Nobles, the Clans that once allied with Clan Izuno centuries ago, and as such, these Nobles hold special reign over the Shogunate's realms, and are tasked with it's maintenance and security.

The Humans of the Mainland were among the first to be subjugated by the Exiled Clans, and by far make half the population, and as such, make up a large portion of Shogunate's Armed Forces.

Descendants of Mesulid Refugees during the Great Shame, thousands of Mesulid had flocked to Izuno to escape their then-colonial masters. Now towards the modern times, the Mesulid people that remained after maintain a sizable population in the Shogunate.

Trolls.

Formerly of the Setran Isles, the Trolls of the Izuno Shogunate were descendants of slaves captured by marauding Orc Slaver Ships, centuries before the arrival of the Exiles, and after the Izuno Conquest, the Trolls were freed, much to the distaste of the then slavers. Now in modern times, Orcs and Trolls are now equals among themselves.

Three Centuries, during the Age of Strife, the Izuno Clan, the third faction in the war, had been suffering the most losses in the conflict, it and it's allies being slowly pushed to the shores, to the point that the loyalist Clans managed force the remnants of the Izuno Alliance to flee the shores, taking their fleet of boats far from the fighting, forever exiled from their home.

Climate: The overall climate of the Shogunate are relatively cool in the Summer and Spring, and border onto frigid in the Winter to follow. 

The Izunese "Colony" of Pskovgorod is quite similar in climate, ranging from moderately cool to deathly cold.

The Dominion Military is split between the Shogunate Army and the Shogunate Navy, and like their Fusan counterpart, have an Air Command Branch of which both share command. Like such, the Shogunate Military share some similarities with the Imperial Fusan Military, but of course, have glaring differences. 

The Shogunate Army follows more traditional doctrines and equipment. Uniforms of the Army's foot soldiers taking on a more ancient and traditional look, soldiers appearing like the Samurai of old. None-Zensen races make up a large bulk of the military, with actual Zensen making up a mere 10%.

The Very core of the Shogun's Army, the Shogunate Ashigaru differ greater from the Imperial Ashigaru. The Shogunate Ashigaru are seen as more disciplined and regimented soldiers, lacking the fanatical zeal of their imperial counterparts. The Ashigaru, as per the Shogunate's admiration of the warriors of old, are equipped with combat armor similar to what was worn centuries ago, with some exceptions of course. Often the none-zensen members of the Ashigaru, mainly Orcs and Trolls, are assigned as Heavy Weapons Specialists, donning heavy encased armor.

Mesulid Samurai
The Samurai once the Fusan Nobility, leading the armies of the feudal lords during the Age of Strife. Today, the Samurai under Izuno serve a new purpose, rather then Noble Lords, the Modern Samurai serve as elite shock troops of the Shogunate Army, with training and equipment on par with the Imperial Haiyagaru.

The Shinobi are another of the Shogunate's examples of holding onto old military traditions. In the Days of Old, before and during the Age of Strife, the Shinobi were and continue to be a class of master assassins and spies, their Clans serving the True Imperial Line faithfully to this day. They serve the Izuno Clan as its personal Enforcers, who are to keep the peace from the shadows, by any means necessary. In wartime, they serve as a Black Ops, going where others can not.

The Shinobi are also known to be the only group in the Shogun's Military to have women serving among their ranks, an exception made specially for them.

A recent addition to the Shogonuate's Army, the Uingu Samurai are an Elite, and often described insane, uit of the Shogun's Aviation Service, their suits created and unit formed as a defense and counter to the Imperial Arashi Kami. The primary weapons of Uingu Samurai are their blades, rarely do they bring firearms when deployed.

The Shinsengumi are the Shogun's personal guard unit and, like the Shinobi, act as the Secret Police of the Shogunate. The Shinsengumi are a force to be feared throughout Izuno, both from civilians and military alike, no one is safe from their grasp. The signature dark uniforms and Masks of the Shinsengumi bring a sense of dread wherever they walk, the Shogun's Faceless Enforcers enacting his will.

I'd imagine there would be some tension on account of the fact that you have a minority ruling over a majority human population, and the Imperium was almost entirely human (The present-day PRK has a lot of immigrants, but it's still like 80% human) as well as due to the close proximity of our nations to each other. I'm not sure if you were aligned with Moravia before the RP's start, but if you were that would be a serious concern as well.

Yup, Izuno has had relations with Moravia for quite some time. So yeah, I'd imagine relations then and now wouldn't be too good. Although if it's alright with you that is, that probably didn't stop the eventually wave of refugees pouring into Izuno during and after the Civil War.
