The young adult has a lot of growing to do, but he is always wanting and willing to do whatever he can to do just that. He likes to experience as much as he can and is often times found doing things he is really uncomfortable with but knows that the feeling will pass once you make it a routine or habit. Trying everything once is one of his mottos, as long as it doesn't kill you.
One of the defining traits that Sam has is that he is extremely stubborn. Once he thinks he is right there is no real way to make him change his mind. He knows that it is something he needs to change, but in due time it will come. With that he also hates admitting that he's wrong, and it is hard because he always believes he's right. One other major flaw about Sam is that he can't commit to a relationship. Becoming serious with another person in an intimate way is something that scares the hell out of Sam, but again it all comes with experience and growth, something he knows his mother wishes he gets soon.D E F I N I N G M Y P A S T
History:Sam was born in California, his parents had immigrated from South Korea to open a now very popular Korean barbecue and restaurant. Both his parents are professional chefs but now have taken a bigger managerial role within their restaurant. Growing up Sam was always expected to take over the family business in managing it. They groomed him in every aspect but the cooking and artistry of the restaurant. His parents wanted him to run the restaurant from the top of the chain, not the kitchen. Sam has an older sister, Rosie, who was given a different role and path in becoming a doctor. As a teenager Sam was always kept busy in sports and extracurricular activities, along with a job at the restaurant right after whatever he had planned. There was never a second to himself, which was hard as he didn't every really have time for anything else. During whatever time he could spare on his fifteen-minute breaks or weekends he wasn't working, Sam drew and painted. He found a way that he could output his creativity in, which was drawing and painting. He joined an art club in high school and began a bigger interest in the arts.
The time he spent at the restaurant was always in the office managing the payroll or accounting, not being able to learn how to cook. His time at home though was spent differently. He was able to learn how to cook by his parents at home, but those meals were more casual and nothing crazy. He knew he wanted to cook like his parents, but they expected something different from him. They didn't want him to spend his time in the back of a restaurant, bossing and ordering around a kitchen. They wanted him to manage the business as a whole. He graduated high school with top honors and went off to college. His parents argued that he needed to obtain some sort of business degree and Sam wasn't having it. He did mention becoming a chef, but again his parents brushed that idea out of the door. So the next best idea was to become an advertiser. It was something he could picture himself doing, being able to express his creativity through the arts of drawing, painting, and design instead of the culinary arts.
During his college years Sam kept up with his busy schedule, becoming highly involved within many clubs and organizations around campus and also picking up many internships. He also began taking up part-time jobs as a bus-boy or waiter. He eventually found himself as a line cook at a few hot spots and it wasn't until after he graduated that he found some more free time for himself. Now with a more lax schedule and experience of freedom away from his parents he has spent more time soul-searching. He currently has a job as an intern at a local advertising agency and also works as a part-time line cook at a newly popular restaurant. He dreams of becoming a chef, obviously with his parents having no idea as they would automatically disapprove of his choice. Not living too broken down under his parents thumb he has more time to himself.
Sam is currently trying his best to make life simple, but obviously when you try to make things easier for yourself, life likes to throw things into the bowl to make things interesting.M I S C .

In Depth Appearance:At 6’1 and 162 lb wet Feliks is a bit of beanpole. One might describe his skin as porcelain, or just plain pasty. He has brown eyes and brown hair- which is meticulously styled to look effortless. Five fingers,five toes, he does deviate slightly from the standard human in that he has a tattoo… of a butterfly… on his lower back.

It’s pretty rare for Feliks to get a chance to dress in accordance with his own style. If he could he’d always wear jeans, a funky tee shirt, and a cool jacket- with the possible addition of a choker necklace. But most of the time he has places to be and things to do and he picks his outfits based on what he needs to look like to get paid, or sneak into an event. Personality:♦ Bold♦ Insensitive ♦ Perceptive♦ Risk Prone ♦It’s hard not to notice Feliks. The guy is like a whirlwind in human form. He loathes inactivity, and this coupled with inhibitions that are few and far between leads to some wild adventures. Also some fun times in the emergency room, but all’s well that ends well! Long term isn’t Feliks’ strong suit. If you need someone who is going to take action and solve a problem, he’s your man. But if you want someone who can focus on the bigger picture, or debate abstract concepts, he is not your man. He has abundance of street smarts, but his intelligence doesn’t translate well to the classroom. Nor does his abhorrence of strict scheduling and social hierarchies.
Feliks is the go to if you want to know where to go for a good time. He is very sociable, and is always willing to show a friend some new ways to have fun. He is incredibly perceptive, and takes note of the smallest details about a person. But, he’s not the best at using the information he gleans. He is blunt, honest, and doesn’t deal well with intense emotions. Tiptoeing around the issue is not something he is capable of. He’s also prone to teasing and sarcasm, which some find amusing and other find annoying. Feliks can befriend a room full of strangers in ten minutes, but it takes him far longer than most people to form a close bond with someone. History:Feliks’ parents are traditionalists in every sense of the word. As a child he was unruly and unmanageable. It was recommended that he be tested for ADHD but his parents didn’t believe in the concept, and chose not to medicate him. A choice for which he is incredibly grateful. His parents own and run a large farm in southern Nebraska where he grew up. Feliks has five siblings, two older and three younger. Their small clan was well renowned for stirring the pot and getting into trouble. Feliks broke his arm 3 times by the time he was twelve, sprained his wrist 5 times, and broke his leg once. He exasperated his parents, and they fought frequently- from the moment he learned first to talk all the way up to present day. But, it wasn’t too serious and they made up quickly.
Then high school happened. Feliks got by fine grade wise in middle school. But in high school natural IQ couldn’t make up for a lack of hard work and an attention span worse than that of a gold fish. His grades had tanked by the end of the semester freshmen year. Suddenly, fights with his folks were more serious, and didn’t reach a conclusion quite so quickly. Feliks found solace outside his family. He made and dropped friends and girlfriends quickly. When he got his drivers license he used it to excess. He would terrify his family by disappearing for entire weekends with the car and coming back with stories of cities across the country. Their relationship only grew more strained.
At 17 Feliks kissed a guy for the first time. Several trips to queer social events later he chose pansexual as his go to label. He didn’t tell his folks. After high school Feliks, much to his dismay, ended up at college in Nebraska. To please his parents, he started off trying to study engineering. But that didn’t last long, and he is currently undecided. College only served to make him more independent, and at the start of his junior year he decided to tell his parents that he’s queer. It didn’t go well, and now he’s working a bunch of random jobs and contemplating what he should do when his last paid for semester of college ends. His friends don’t know, and Feliks isn’t inclined to share. He isn’t hiding it from them, he just doesn’t feel the need to seek solace.M I S C .

In Depth Appearance:5'11" and skinny, Benji was never the athletic type. More the stay-indoors-play-video-games-and-troll-people-on-the-internet type as evidenced by his pale I-have-never-seen-the-sun complexion (he dislikes spending time outdoors due to being especially susceptible to sunburn, but thoroughly takes advantage of overcast and rainy days). Suffice it to say almost anyone could beat him in a fight (unless it was a battle of wits, in which case he would totally slay). His thoughtful brown eyes give character to his otherwise ordinary face, and he tends to be very expressive and dramatic. He's got a couple of tattoos, including a raven on his chest, the Tree of Gondor on his back, and an anatomical heart on the inside of his left forearm. Both ears are pierced and he has a small silver nose ring. His dark brown hair is thick and unwieldy, the fact that he cuts it himself just makes it look all the more scruffy and wild.
It's important to note that Benji is fairly meticulous about his appearance, though does his best to pretend that he doesn't care (in fact he cares quite a bit about making others think he doesn't care). In spite of being a nerd to the core, Benji likes to think of himself as a rock star, and definitely tries to dress the part. Not over-the-top punk or glam, more edgy-with-a-hint-of-grunge with the occasional fandom T-shirt. Not that everyone wants to be friends with, but the sort of person you feel like you can count on to give you a ride home, hold your hair while you vomit, or help you hide a body immediately after introducing yourself. He's always got a joke, a story, or bizarre philosophical interjection for any occasion. The sort of person everyone likes and trusts because, even though he's kind of weird, he's got a good heart and a genuine love for everyone he meets, whether they're a random stranger or lifelong friend. He has the ability to make everyone feel at ease, always trying to keep the peace.
While Benji's comical personality might seem a bit flakey on the surface, deep down he is a very emotional individual who experiences drastic mood swings that may be a symptom of undiagnosed bipolar disorder (it runs in the family). However, his natural tendency to never impose on other people keeps him from always expressing what he truly feels, for fear of being a burden or appearing weak. During his low points, Benj tries extra hard to be a people pleaser--always finding some consolation in his ability to brighten someone else's day, even when his own is shrouded in gloom. The greatest downside to this escapist mentality is that no one realizes just how needy he is, and his refusal to open up even to his close friends has caused his past relationships to be rocky and end badly. He wants to be strong and reliable all the time, and someday he'll have to learn the hard way that it's just impossible to be that person 24/7.
In addition to all that deep stuff, Benj is astoundingly disorganized and painfully forgetful. He may always have the best intentions but remembering things like birthdays, important dates, the day of the week, and even holidays are far from his strong suit. No amount of planners, calendars, or alerts on his phone can completely cover his horrible tendency to simply forget. It's made him more than a little paranoid to the point that a simple phone call will send his stress levels through the roof because more often than not it's his supervisor wondering why he didn't show up to work, again. History:Benji grew up in a loving household that was probably not strict enough. His hippie parents home-schooled him up through his sophomore year, but due to financial circumstances he was forced to go to public school for his last two years of high school. Still an introvert at the time, and not one who was used to keeping a schedule, it was living hell for him. His homework, while exceptionally correct, was always turned in late and he never seemed to be able to finish timed tests. Even though his grades suffered drastically, one good thing did come out of the whole experience.
At the beginning of his senior year, Benji hooked up with a handful of band geeks and found himself thrown head-over-heels into the music scene. He'd taken acoustic guitar lessons for a few years, practicing intermittently, and while not especially talented at least he'd found someplace he could belong. By the time graduation rolled around his band had become school-wide famous. The teachers tsked their tongues at him, shaking their heads and saying that he would never amount to anything, being such a poor student as he was. But Benj had found his calling, and after his high school band broke up he continued to pursue his dream as a musician. In college he forsook his studies to form a punk rock band called "Attempted Murder" consisting of himself as the lead guitarist, his best friend from high school on drums, and a college girl who was both their vocalist and bass player.
While he's sure his parents had harbored higher hopes for their son, they had always been loving and supportive of his choices. He doesn't hesitate to talk up his folks to anyone who will listen, because everyone knows it's much easier to pursue your passions with your parents' approval.M I S C .

In Depth Appearance:Fit and athletic, Bryant is a large man. He’s exactly six foot, six and a half inches tall, and around two hundred and thirty-five pounds in weights. He takes care of his body, and exercises every morning, and afternoon with the result easy to see. He has thick, dark, reddish brown hair that goes down to his shoulder, curling at the ends slightly. His skin is slightly pale despite the time he spends outside. His eyes are a silvery blue, and very soft and easy to look at. Due to an obsession with dental hygiene, his teeth are particularly white, perfectly straight from braces, and never have anything stuck in between them.
When at his apartment, the man is shirtless as often as he can be, claiming that if everyone were as fit as he, they’d go shirtless too. For pants, he wears felt pajama pants around the house, unless he’s in his own room, then… who wears pants in their own room? Outside of the apartment, he wears expensive jeans, and collared, well fitted polo shirts. His shoes… that is where he really begins to care. He owns six different pairs of expensive Air Jordans and other Nike brand shoes, and takes meticulous care of them.

Failure has never been seen as an option by him, it was always either succeed or die trying. Failures are torturous to remember, and he does his best to forget them all. A bit of a womanizer, he spends every Friday and Saturday night trying to bed a new woman. He’s never had real relationship, and to a certain extent, he fears the commitment that comes with it.
He’s competitive and fuels this with sports: College football(almost a full scholarship from it), Ultimate frisbee on his off days, track, and weightlifting on the side. Though only officially on a team for football, he keeps track of his own records for track and weightlifting, constantly trying to beat his own records and comparing himself to the past records of famous runners and lifters. This also translates to his hobby of video games, which he takes far too seriously, and whenever he loses repeatedly, he’s known to freak out, in almost destructive fits of rage. There have been many a smashed controller and at least one shattered glass desk in his lifetime.
Though not stupid, he has struggled in mathematics and a few of the finer scientific classes. He tries to keep his grades above average in those classes, and it’s the only section of his life that he’ll accept being a ‘B- player’ in. Still, it frustrates him to no end when tests are returned with scores like 70% and 69%. If a person goes through his blog, they can find many entries about his anger with math and science.
When he eventually took a class about architecture, he finally found a section of math that clicked with him, and he decided then and there that he would pursue it, if only to prove to whatever part of the world that had decided he would be poor at math that he could still use it to support himself.
His backup option is the NFL, which he thinks he may get drafted to out of college, after all he’s the star player of his team and the captain. The sport and his studies are his two priorities, with the pursuit of women coming in a close second, the third is taking care of the people around him.
Though he has few off days, he likes to spend them traveling, hiking, mountain biking and enjoying the local scenery and lovely weather. He frequents a few parks in particular, where he has made a name for himself playing Ultimate Frisbee. He’s decently charismatic, and a fun guy to be around. He’ll make jokes, and tell stories aobut his life(sometimes exaggerated for comedic effect), but he gets antsy if he isn’t the center of attention.
Connor is not close to his family, in fact, he almost hates them. He’ll happily tell his friends that the only benefit his parents have ever given is the way they try to buy his love. The older brother by a year, his sister was the star child, despite his success in academics and sports, it was always about her. This frustrated him, and he grew angrier and angrier that even though his best was far above average, it would never prove to be good enough for his parents. No matter what he did, they always told him that they expected more. A single B on a report card? They wanted nothing but A’s. Second place in the state championships? Why couldn’t their son bring home the gold? Tantrums were frequent when he was younger as a result of constantly letting down his parents.
He’s obsessed with himself, but not his own self-worth and esteem. Instead, he cares about the image other people have him. This is a result of his parent’s treatment of him throughout his childhood. This has lead him to often put other people in front of himself, doing what he can to make people think he’s an amazing guy, and one worth having in their lives. He has trouble saying ‘No,’ as a result of this. The only time he finds himself able to deny someone is when their needs conflict with his two main priorities.D E F I N I N G M Y P A S T
History:A native of New York, Bryan was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. His father is a lawyer, and his mother a paralegal, which was how they met. Throughout his entire life, up until age ten, he was raised by a nanny, with both of his parents working full time still. At six years of age, his sister was born. It seemed that she was all her parents had ever wanted, and they channeled all their love to the girl, spoiling her even more than they did him. His parents still made it to parent-teacher conferences, though they made the discussions about themselves, and did everything they could to make school harder on the boy. He was required to bring back weekly progress reports, and was yelled at if they weren’t sufficient. He grew close to the nanny, and as a punishment for failing to get a perfect grade on an assignment, they fired her, when Bryan was twelve and his sister six. They told other people in their life that the nanny was let go because his mother had decided to step in to raise their children.
Bryan grew less and less fond of his sister as he grew up, and by the time she was ten, she knew the game: she could go poorly in school and their parents would still love her, but if he faltered, they would make it no secret how disappointed in him they were. It was around this time that he began to suspect they were narcissistic. Despite claiming that they were nothing more than completely disappointed in him, they still showed Bryan off to their friends, bragging about his academic and, as he broke multiple local and then state level records in football and basketball, athletic achievements as if they had accomplished them themselves. Popular and wealthy, in highschool he slept with each member of the cheerleading squad(and some of them multiple times in groups), though he didn’t keep a girlfriend and slowly went through, leaving a wake of heartbreak behind him.
At age 18, he left town and moved across the country to go to college, finding an apartment with the endless funds of his parents rocketing him along the road of comfort. He happily and generously paid for tons of additions to the apartment, including the titanic television, the wall mount that keeps it on the wall, the large library of video games hooked up to it, and the home theatre surround system setup, and the Netflix account(though he also has a PC attached to the TV with a variety of movies, moe animes, and TV shows obtained through less legitimate means). After four years there, his mind has been made up: he’ll never go back to his family unless he absolutely needs to. His parents have assured him that no matter what, so long as his grades remain the same and they can continue to happily speak of him to their high class friends, then the money will never dry up.
He hasn’t spoken to his sister over the span of the four years, and he doesn’t plan to any time soon.M I S C .
