►In Depth Appearance◄

The first thing people notice about Krista Hale is her bright curly strawberry-blonde hair. It reaches past her chest in messy tangles and depending on the style it's left in it can touch her waist just as easily. Her hair is usually left down but unless she's being active or busy, her hair can be seen up in ponytails or braided buns. If you move past the hair, the next big thing to be noticed - quite literally - is Krista's full, pink lips easily comparable to the models on the runway. Despite not having much money , whatever little income she saved through babysitting or tutoring other children in the neighbourhood is either used up for varying shades of pink and red lipsticks or it goes to the family saving's pot.

If her bright orange locks weren't eye-catching enough, then her body sure as hell is. A petite size of 5'2" (1.6m) and weighing in the lower 100lbs, Krista's body is pear shaped with little muscle or fat. Krista, while too young for a tattoo, has contemplated one for a while though has been quite unsure of the commitment to a permanent mark or the design. Krista's fingers are calloused, and she has a scar on her wrist and elbow after a really bad fall around the age of four. Krista's eyes are a shade between hazel and green - something she's been told that she inherited by her mother but from the lack of pictures around the house, Krista can't verify the claim.

Clothing-wise, Krista remains simple. With little money, she doesn't chase after the expensive brands or the bold colours, instead satisfied with the simpler designs. Most of her clothing consists of oversized sweaters (most being hand-me-downs from siblings and parents), a few skirts, some ripped jeans and some blouses. Krista only owns two pairs of shoes, none of which are heels. Boots and converses are simple, and much more effective for daily use than heels, no?

As mentioned above, make-up is simple. The most Krista owns are various shades of lipstick that she keeps changing on a daily basis. Only rarely does she wear eyeliner or anything dramatic, unless its a special occasion and even then she's not too fussy.

At first glance, Krista looks like a feisty red-head that is popular and often the head-bitch of the school, however this is the opposite way one can describe Krista as an individual. Instead of the popular one, Krista is a shadow. Despite her bright as fuck hair, no one really knows much about the youngest Hale other than two things:

A) She's the youngest sister of Luka and Christian Hale - two biggest pranksters of Fremont High School.

B) Krista Hale is probably smarter than you.

Krista isn't intelligent, nor is she a natural genius when it comes to education. She simply crams and crams information into her brain until it sticks and refuses to leave. That's the secret behind the Hermione of High School. Krista doesn't have a huge ego either, so no matter how many times she's complimented, she'll simply brush it off as nothing more than hard work and dedication.

Speaking of hard work and dedication, her role model is her father. Krista looks up to him, blinded by his work ethic and would do anything to be like him when she's out in the working world - and what better way than starting now? Her dedication to success and helping her father out with the household finances mean that Krista is highly competitive and refuses to take a loss. One way to get under Krista's skin is to lose something - whether it's a match, or score less than someone in a simple class test.

Krista's ambition as a lawyer, a goal that she's working towards for the benefit of her family, means that Krista doesn't dabble in anything that can lead to teenage drama. That means no relationships, no drugs sex or parties either. Hell, Krista's only had one crush in her life, and that had been Caleb until she realised it was too... odd.

►Background◄

Ever since Krista could remember, it had always been her, her father and her two brothers. Being the youngest of the Hale clan, Krista was often doted on and babied by her mother and (over)protected by her brothers. She was the baby girl of the family, and Krista knew it. Krista's mother left the family, running away to live her life with her younger lover on the sunny beaches of California, barely keeping contact with her living flesh and blood other than the occasional birthday card every two or three years.

Despite that, Krista never felt her mother's absence. Instead, her father overworked to keep the roof over the children's heads to the best of his ability as the janitor of the local high school nearby and worked at a Chinese restaurant during weekends. Even though there was little time for her father to spend with his three children, Mr Hale worked hard and Krista appreciated the dedication of her role model greatly. It's safe to say that Krista ended up growing up at Daddy's Little Princess.

When Krista joined middle school, she met a quiet loner by the name of Jenson (Caleb) in her math class. Sitting together, the two eventually developed a working relationship, eventually becoming good friends and sticking togther like glue ever since. Rumours spread that Krista and Caleb were a thing, but as much as Krista liked him she knew that they could be nothing more than siblings for the other. It was because of her friendship with the quiet boy that helped her and her family's financial situation - often chipping in whenever the bills weren't paid on time or helping out with babysitting whenever Mr Hale wasn't able to check on his children.

And it was also because of Caleb that Krista ended up packing her backpack for the summer to stay with him at the camp he always disappeared off to for every summer since the age of thirteen. It's her first year at camp, and since Krista only knows Caleb, it won't be a surprise if Krista sticks to herself for most of the time.

Michi’s appearance isn’t really as memorizing as a model but she tries her best to keep her looks up to par. She doesn’t try to impress anybody with her looks. Michi has brown locks of her that cascade down well past the middle of her back. She doesn’t tie her hair up into a ponytail or anything – She likes to keep it straight with the little curls at the end of her hair strands. Michi also has hazel colored eyes and her pupils are well rounded. She usually covers her eyes with a pair of shades though. Audrey stands about five foot six with a weight of one-hundred and ten pounds. She is very toned and lean with a sculptured body. Her skin is fair and sun kissed from her time of sun bathing on the beach and even at the camp from the previous years. She actually doesn’t have any tattoos but has her two earlobes pierced along with industrial piercings within both of her ears and a belly button piercing. She however does have a scar on the back of her calf muscle from trying to climb a fence. Michi’s style isn’t exactly girly girl. It’s more tomboyish than anything else. She doesn’t really own any dresses or skirts, much more of a blue jean shorts and jean type of girl. She doesn’t even have a pair of heels, she’d rather wear her Chuck Taylor’s, which she has a color of every pair.

Audrey’s personality is a little strong and if you do not know how to take her then her words and actions may come off as a little wrong to certain people. She is a very straightforward person when it comes to just about everything as she doesn’t bite her tongue for no one. Audrey tries her best not to offend anyone though but if she does, she won’t even apologize because she feels that people shouldn’t wear their feelings on their sleeve. Although she is very blunt towards people, she can also be very caring towards them, as well. If they really need someone to care for them, of course.

Audrey is very ambitious when it comes to her goals in life and just about anything in general. She is very encouraging towards people who want to go after their dreams and actually make something of themselves when they’re older and ready for the real world. She can easily adapt to any setting that she is in. She can be very flirtatious towards any human being that crosses her path but she isn’t flirting just to get inside someone’s pants – No. She flirts to see how intelligent and clever that said person is.

Overall, Audrey is a very special person to be around – Especially if you love video gaming since it’s almost an obsession for her. She will befriend just about anyone but better be ready for her straightforward ways.

►Background◄

Audrey grew up to a wonderful mother, who raised her all by herself. Her father unfortunately left shortly after her birth and was never heard from or seen again. Her mother raised Audrey to be and do whatever she wanted with her life and to excel better than the next person before her. Throughout her life, she signed up for beauty pageants within her hometown and even went to other states to compete, as well. She won a few times but other times she was either runner up or in the top five. Her last competition was right before she started middle school and became somewhat of a rebellious teenager, which was rather typical for her. She became rather defiant and not even thinking about the consequences for her actions. Audrey at this time use to get into a lot of fights with other females and even some males. Her mother don’t know what caused this type of behavior and threatened to send her to a juvenile center but thought that’d be harsh. Instead, her mother sent her to a summer camp at the age of fourteen.

She started her days at Camp Liberty and hated being there. She honestly told her mother that she’d rather be at Juve then some camp full of happy campers. But during her time at the camp, she met a guy that she really liked and he liked her back so she decided to stay there with no complaints. Audrey started dressing back to normal rather than her rebellious look. Sadly, after her first year at the camp, the guy stated that he was moving to New York City. When she heard that, she didn’t even want to go back to the camp but in order to avoid the detention center, or juvenile, she continued going anyway.

As the years progressed, Audrey was growing into a mature, young lady and the summer camp was doing the trick, it seemed. She always had a story to tell her mother whenever she returned home, her grades improved drastically in school and she even started becoming more of a daughter than a rebel. Her mother loved her excellent progress and Audrey was even accepted to the college of her dreams and hopes to start there after this year’s camp. She’s was even handed the team leader position for Team Red.

►In Depth Appearance◄

At first glance, no one will ever suspect Aisling to be the daughter of a fairly wealthy Orthodontist, who would rather gamble and be with his new wife than his daughter, and a bestselling romance novelist, who cares too much about upper class society. Compared to other girls of a similar stature, Ash is levelheaded and down to Earth, not using her inheritance as some sort of leverage against others. Naturally a brunette, her dark brown, Bohemian and wavy hair has light brown highlights, which compliment her fair and sensitive skin. Her exes have complimented her eyes on various occasions and love her chic makeup style. With a little touch of allure, Ash absolutely adores dark colored lipstick.

Her height is 5'5" and she weighs around 115 lbs, depending on the day and how much she eats. For those who care to know, her bra size is 32C. What her parents do not know is she has a small tattoo under her stomach and around her waistline that says: Love me for who I am. Her ears have a standard ear lobe piercing, but that's as far as she'll go.

If Aisling isn't wearing exercise wear and doing physical activity, which she loves to do, mind you, her preferred style is her leather or jean jacket(s), a decent top that compliments her assets (or a baggy tee), and jeans, all types and shades. Sometimes her clothes can come off as promiscuous, like midriff tops that showcase her flat stomach and abs. Other times they look comfortable as hell. The best thing she wears is confidence, knowing very well her face and body is nice to look at (Don't worry, she isn't a vain bitch _sometimes).

For starters, Aisling looks like a bitch and if someone doesn't know her, she might rub them off the wrong way. Outgoing and assure of herself, she's a woman, who won't take anyone's crap and comes off as strong and fearless. Not even the closest people to her will get away with murder. It doesn't matter where an individual came from or who their parents are (were), if Ash does not agree with them, she will tell them straight and with a sharp tongue. A great listener at heart, she will take in everything someone has to say and respond accordingly, with little to no filter. Making the best of situations, Ash won't let others ruin her time and if she can make someone feel better about themselves, even better.

Her mysterious nature is up for interpretation. Aisling is not one to share personal issues with anyone, bottling many things up and dealing with her issues alone. Always. Ash stands firm and keeps to her guns, which makes her a bit intimidating and unapproachable. However, once someone passes that threshold, they soon discover she's a caring intellect and impressively observant. Some people have known her to be their personal guardian since she shows up conveniently at the perfect time and intervenes in hazardous situations.

Her keen eye is one of the things she takes pride in. Aisling is capable of reading a situation, sizing any person up, and throwing a wrench in people's plans. If she is in her own world, like archery or going on a walk, it may be best to leave her alone. There's times that she needs to be by herself to clear her thoughts and just... not be around anyone. She enjoys dark humor and the fickle nature of being human and those interests usually influence her speech. People watching might be one of her favorite pastimes. Her steps are quiet, her breathing is steady, and her fighting is agile. She can slip in and out of a building without anyone being aware of her presence. Not because she's hard to see, any attractive woman walking around would be noticed by at least one person, but mostly because people tend to be too distracted by themselves and their personal dramas to notice her.

Using her time to her advantage, Ash observes her surroundings, looking at people's expression, actions, and the individuals they associate themselves with. This may help later on when she needs to predict how certain people react to a situation. One can say Ash has the potential to be quite manipulative and conniving if she truly wanted to ruin someone's life, but most of the time, she doesn't see the point in interfering in anyone's business unless it's absolutely necessary.

One of her most appealing features is her tendency to be a playful tease when she's out to have a good time. If you're capable of approaching her without letting her hawk stare get to you, you'll discover she is a kind and adorably spirited person, who looks out for the people in her life. A mother in that sense, she's great at taking care of everyone but herself.

Due to her inability to run to others for help or to rant to them about the lingering thoughts in her mind, she can abruptly close herself off and avoid people entirely (disappearing for long periods of times).

Born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, Ash was surrounded by socialites and debutantes. With Danish and Scottish decent, she considers herself a full fledged American, having no knowledge of her relatives outside the country. Something about breaking ties? Either way, Ash has never been able to travel the world, even if her father had, and still has, a decent salary. Her parents got a divorce while she was in middle school and afterwards, her father ran away to Los Angeles, California. Why? Probably because his mistress, who he met at New York during a business trip, lived in that general area but traveled frequently. Hence, how they met in NYC. From that point on, Aisling spent her summers with her father.

►Background◄

What's there to say about a rich girl's life? Aisling is more fortunate than most. A roof over her head, food on her plate, and money to spend for luxury. All her life, (to this day) she was surrounded by snobs, spoiled princesses, and show offs. From when she was small until her mother forced her to become a debutante, Ash was a blossoming girl who got everything she wanted and more. Never wanting much but her parents' time, she was given gifts galore and experiences that not many kids could say they had before their 18th birthday. Ash was allowed to do things like rock climbing, scuba diving, cliff jumping, and etc, but never with her parents, always with a single friend of her choosing. Even then, she wasn't very close with these so-called "friends".

Approaching high school and during the time her parents were going through a nasty divorce, Ash started giving back to the community and taking control of her own life. She hated rich people. Many of them acted like they did so much for the greater good but all they did was wipe their own asses with their money. She wanted to be better than them. She needed to be better.

Drowning herself in articles and books, Aisling found her curiosity and passion for the world around her. She decided in 7th grade if she was going to be stuck in these circumstances until she could break free from her parents, she might as well make herself better as a person. After her father left to Cali, her mother grew more aggressive in terms of finding her darling Bella a suitor, truly believing she could get her daughter to marry before her 21st birthday. Her mother and her fantastical ideals were truly something that the young woman would never be able to understand.

Ash's hatred only grew more when she was surrounded by girls her age, with similar lifestyles. They were incredibly ignorant, it kind of hurt her mentally. At least during the summers, when she was with her father she had a temporary escape from her mother's control. During the summers since sixth grade, Aisling was given enough freedom to adventure around Los Angeles and discover herself, get to know people, and explore her love life. She had a couple of secret rendezvous that neither parents were aware of, losing her virginity when she was 16. Her first love was a dreamboat of a man who was a striving musician. Unfortunately, Ash started to learn fast that 'love' was not what it was cut out to be--especially young love. Becoming like the prissy girls she couldn't stand, who were too focused on having a man make them feel better about themselves, the dark-haired girl took a step back and tried to grab a hold of her strength once more. After the summer when she was 16, her mother introduced Samuel Miller, a top dog lawyer's son. For one year, Ash tried to give this guy a try for her mother's sake. No more heated romances, just a committed relationship but... she just couldn't. Great in bed but terrible to talk to. Patiently, she waited to break up with him right before she was sent off to Los Angeles, right before she would attend Camp Liberty for her fourth consecutive year.

Her mother made her study Danish and Gaelic growing up so she could know her roots and where her family came from (but not actually the members of her family). Ash use to know how to speak Danish but then she focused her studies elsewhere like current issues and literature. Learning languages was never her cup of tea. Note: She's still able to understand it to some degree.

Aisling is known more for: her observant skills, her capability to fight and protect herself, her ballsy risk-taking, and her unexpected and silent presence (catching many people off guard).

Ariels style is described as Grunge or borderline Emo. The young woman dresses selectively in all black the majority of the time, though will occasionally wear white or other dark colors. Skinny jeans are her favorite things for bottoms, though she can be found wearing shorts that are considered perhaps a little too short. Her hair is a dark brown, sometimes confused for black, and can be seen worn down or in a braid, perhaps in a ponytail when doing strenuous activities. Her bangs are what some may call choppy, and have no particular form, constantly swept to the left side of her face.

Makeup is something that Ariel is not a stranger to. Of course she isn’t going to spend four hours on the task in the morning, but eyeliner is practically one of the girls best friends, along with her mascara.

On the outside looking in, Ariel is one of the most happy, socially awkward people that you could ever meet. Always saying something goofy, and having a way with words, the girl is the type to almost always have a smile on her face and is not quick to get angered. Having slight social anxiety is perhaps the reason for her social awkwardness, which causes her to say really random things. Ariel is the type of girl that may come off as a bitch, but she's the blunt kind of girl that when she says something mean, it's funny. Some may say that the girl is violent, with her outbursts of random, crazy, violent sayings but she probably won't choke you with a marshmellow. However, that's the coverup that she puts on.

The truth is, Serafina suffers from depression. The girl tends to keep her emotions bottled inside and simply do her best to release them through her blogs,videos,and music. She simply don't take any medication for it because she is to ashamed to talk about it, causing her to put on an act. Being socially awkward, it is hard for Ariel to express herself unless she is behind a screen, and, in fact, is shy when it comes to meeting new people. Of course, you may think how is she brave with all of this going on inside of her, but she's brave in a different way than you think. Ariel is brave enough to face the day starting out with a positive attitude no matter how bad she knows it's going to be.

The young woman hates drama, gossip, and any other thing of the sort. She can typically be seen hanging out with the guys at school, because she considers females to much drama. Of course, if you ask her how she is doing, you will receive a great and a goof thumbs up. Not being able to express herself truthfully angers her to no end, though, just like her true feelings, she doesn't let it show. In short, the girl is a half read book. To know her, you must first know the whole story.

Serafina Ariel Gray was born in a city located in Illinois to the parents known as Marianna and Trillian Gray. Marriana was a surgeon and Trillian was, and is, a respectable member of the community, and one of the best lawyers around. However, just like with Ariel, that is not the true story about the man. Marianna thought that the man was great, they married just two years before their daughter was born, and the two were madly in love at the time. Trillian was a loving father up until the time that Ariel was five, and then something inside the man just... changed. When Ariel came home from school on the bus, she assumed that her father was just upset shouting about a case, just as he usually did at times. What she walked in on was horrible. Her mother was in the floor, her arms shielding her face as her father hit her over and over. There was various holes in the walls, and many of the families pictures had fallen to the floor, the glass broken. Not understanding what was going on, tears started to wet the little girls face. "Mommy," she said, her voice scared and shaking. Both of her parents turned to look at her, her mother getting up with a tear soaked face as well, rushing to her and wrapping her in a hug.

These episodes went on until Ariel was the age of nine. Fed up with her father's ways, the little girl did her best to get in between her parents. The man instead unleashed his anger on her, and this was the first time that Ariel felt her fathers wrath. Her mother did her best to stop him as well, and in the end, he did, but not before bruises had formed on Ariels skin. This happened on and off until the age of 12 -perhaps every three months or so-, when Marianna was killed in a car crash. It was this night that the girl seen that side of her father once more, multiplied.

It was at the age of thirteen that she tried to break away, and find a release for what she was feeling inside. Turning to her music more and more, Ariel also created a blog and a youtube channel with her dancing and singing. She started to draw and climb trees, staying outside of that dreaded house as long as she could. She took up baby sitting jobs and began to save her own money to do things. It was at the age of fourteen that she realized she was truly depressed. Her school life was horrible and filled with bullies, and most of all, she couldn't understand her father. How could he function and be so normal outside of the home, but yet a monster within?

It was at the age of fifteen when Ariel officially stood up for herself. When her father hit her that night, she simply pulled a knife on him. "So help me, if you lay one more hand on me I will make sure you never do it again. You may be my father, but you haven't earned the right to do this to me." Just as usual, tears were running down her face. Trillians facial expression changed from anger, to fear, to sorrow. "I'm sorry," he mumbled. Disgusted with what she seen before her she slammed the knife down on the counter and ran to her room.

Getting on her blog once more and talked to a person who had messaged her with a similar problem. This was how she found out about Camp Liberty. Running back downstairs, she shoved the laptop at her father. "I want to go. I want to go to this camp." Reluctantly, the two had the longest conversation that they had in years, and her father agreed.

oliver has a very androgynous face, with slightly chubby cheeks and a pixielike, upturned nose. he's been slow to develop, and as such doesn't quite have the strong jawline or square face that most other young man do. his eyes only help to babify his facial features, peering out glaringly cerulean and are almost unsettling in all their brightness. he seems to be wearing a permanent frown, not exactly a grimace but still too grieving to be a neutral expression. while some people have a 'resting bitch face,' oliver suffers from 'resting frowny face.' not very original, if you ask me.

his body is equally genderless. he doesn't have very strong shoulders, but they are straight-set and not as curved as a biological girl's. he is fairly skinny, weighing in at about one hundred and thirteen pounds, paired with a diminutive height of five foot seven. he has no muscle mass in his arms or legs, and the only thing that keeps his body from complete shapelessness might be the natural pocket of fat over his stomach. he's particularly annoyed by that - he'd prefer to be on either end of the body shape spectrum than have some weird bit of pudge from out of nowhere.

- probably off-putting to others, oliver picks at his skin, mostly around his nails and knuckles. it makes the most annoying noise and likely doesn't look all that pretty, either.
- ollie pulls his hair from his head - a classic, albeit minor, case of trichotillomania. he'll twist the locks mostly from behind his ear around his finger and use that as leverage to rip them out.
- whenever he's sitting or in some leaning position where it's possible, oli will shake his leg and tap his feet on the ground. he's heard from somewhere that it "burns, like, twice as many calories as sitting still does."
- this could be considered a bad habit, as oliver isn't necessarily always doing it: slouching. he can't square his shoulders or straighten his spine to save his life. if someone reminds him, though, he'll likely shoot right back up and correct the issue.
- people from his team tend to be calmer, one might find, but oli seems to run everywhere he goes instead of patiently walking.

most of the time, oli's personality is both passionate and composed. he has an innocent curiosity that when combined with his creativity yields a character that is fascinated with everything, and fascinating in itself. he has a vast (or, rather, random) array of knowledge, which helps him to piece together ideas that would not often be associated with each other. in terms of emotional sensitivity, oliver is unsurpassed, with a specific talent for empathizing with other people's pain. despite his addictive personality, he remains very independent.

though oli is capable of being charming when he wants to be, for him it's just a tool. he is not an especially warm and intimate person, and his native stand-offishness is likely to have been a big contributing factor in his lack of closeness with others. even the few times he's opened up to close friends, personal revelations have often been shrouded in levity.

he radiates an aura of mystery, and his insightful observations and original ideas enable him to push change through with sheer willpower and force of personality. at times it will seem that he is bent on deconstructing and rebuilding every idea and system he comes into contact with, employing a sense of perfectionism and even morality to this work. anyone who doesn’t have the talent to keep up with his processes, or worse yet, doesn’t see the point of them, is likely to immediately and permanently lose his respect.

oliver kind of tends to act without conscience, and his distaste for acting on emotion can emphasize that fact. he seems almost emotionless, deemed by others as cold-blooded and insensitive living by the mantra that emotions are for the weak. in fact, this isn't the case, and isn't ever going to be. while he will never be comfortable with a truly public display of emotions, tommy tries very hard to use them, to channel them alongside his creative approaches to issues to help him achieve his goals.

it is not easy to become good friends with oli. rather than traditional rules of social conduct or shared routine, oliver has exacting expectations for intellectual prowess, uncompromising honesty and a mutual desire to grow and learn as sovereign individuals. he is gifted, bright and development-oriented, and expect and encourage his friends to share this attitude. anyone falling short of this will be labeled a bore – anyone meeting these expectations will appreciate him of their own accord, forming a powerful and stimulating friendship that will stand the test of time. he does however, develop the odd delusion about people he meets... that proves to be a deal breaker for most, who don't like being unable to contact their newfound friend or be ghosted for weeks when oli grows suspicious or paranoid of them.

oliver's household started out loose from the beginning. his mother was a relatively wealthy woman, inheriting money from her father, a designer; his father was a relatively broken man, spending his own resources on nothing but alcohol day after day. thankfully, oliver senior didn't exactly fit into the violent cliché that's placed upon most alcoholic fathers. in fact, the man spent his days half-comatose on the couch, barely paying attention to the rambunctious kids he'd gotten stuck with. after having oliver, they got to work with a sibling that turned into two little twin girls. thus, oliver's job went from taking care of himself and his father to taking care of four humans all while attending school and otherwise. he went so far as to make personal rules for himself, obsessing over routines to keep the house afloat.

as a toddler, his intelligence was blossoming. he loved to draw and paint, but not on walls or with crayons on printer paper like other children. he drew on books, colour-coding his words like a natural synesthete and helping the illustrators fill in their sketches (obviously, mother didn't take all that well to her novels being desecrated like that). he picked up dictionaries early on and started learning the words and dictating them to his sisters. mother was rather unimpressed when his first word was not 'mom' or 'dad' or any variations of those terms, but 'obsess.' he claimed to relate to it quite well.

when he reached later childhood, the aforementioned responsibilities were placed on him. his mother, just reaching promotion to the CEO of a major fashion designer's company, left the house for months at a time to network. he realised his family didn't pay very much attention to him and took it hard. oliver turned to impressing his teachers, if only for a few moments, and bringing his fellow students to jealousy. when he got home, however, dad was always asleep on the couch, and the twins had gone at least six hours without food - it was always that way, after all. he ensured they all ended up fine by the end of the night, typically, but oliver himself remained malnutrited for the majority of his life because of the physical and mental stress.

camp liberty came to him by word of mouth. supposedly, it was a promising escape for kids his age. obviously oliver begged his mother to hire someone for at least the summer to take care of the family while he was gone, and with enough mindless pleading, she reluctantly agreed.

Something of a DJ Couture - or, well, nah. That's not a good term for it. Really he just looks kind of out there with his ratty hoodies and frayed jeans; grey Henley and worn leather jackets. With a pair of headphones always wrapped around his head or hanging from his neck, Holden's slouch and penchant for staring at his feet make him seem a lot smaller than his 6'0" height affords him. Having spent most of his life dancing, however, gives Holden a lean, very flexible form that his posture hides in it's reclusive form.

If anything, Holden blends well into the background until he starts moving - drifting away from his wallflower, unappealing posture as he does so. His steps turn deliberate, fluid in motion and every part of his body takes steps in tandem, lets the movement take control of form and body as his mind follows. Efficient and graceful when he desperately wants to be, Holden has impeccable balance and a kind of bob to his form that syncs with the beat of whatever song he's moving toward. Walking, dancing, maybe sitting, when Holden wants to be, he steps out of the shell he often hides away in to let every part of him sing the words he can't put into sentences.

Not to say that he doesn't talk, Holden just doesn't know how to express himself beyond what he knows - music. His tone is a tad quiet with an airy quality to it that's a humming baritone. It's smooth, evident that he doesn't talk often and when he does, it's usually in clipped, efficient sentences.

A real 'Do it Yourself' kinda guy and not because Holden's a prickly individual either. He just doesn't like acknowledging the fact that there are people around him, there to help. It's likely some deep psychological thing, but Holden's not the type for introspection. He's kind of the type to let things go on and on until whatever's ailing him ends up serious.

You know the type. Snuffly nose turns into hacking cough turns into a 108F fever and extreme dehydration.

If someone were to delve deeper into that aspect of Holden's personality, they'd find a boy that's often too scared of digging himself into a hole and having all of these options to reel himself out, but not taking them. It's almost a pride thing, but more so, it's a generation of conditioning for a family that's holds independence to an insurmountable standard. Often, if you find yourself in a hole and you can't get out, maybe that's where you belong. It's a scary thought and, among other deep, scary thoughts, it's one of the things keeping Holden from ever looking in to fix his problems. In turn, it holds him back from looking out to find a solution.

Thus, Holden lives in his own world, not even his own head. Music provides both an outlet and a means of success for him. It's the only thing he's feasibly good at and Holden clings to the concept like a lifeline. He's paved a path for himself solely relying on his talent and the skills that he accumulates through it. And he'll dive head first into whatever project he's currently attempting, making that the sole focus of his entire being and effectively shutting out the people around him. The world itself remains, but the people that hold their hands out and offer kind smiles aren't there. Better to think they aren't then face the guilt of having to cave in to his need for some form of assistance.

That makes Holden a very solitary individual, especially when he's tasked with anything that's not his music. It's a recurring problem, people melding into the background, and he often has to rip himself out of his own world before he gets lost wandering himself. Subconscious thinking tends to leave Holden on the precipice of healthy thinking and plummeting into a fierce burnout. If he doesn't take the time to reevaluate his surroundings, he has a deep tendency to completely drive himself into the ground, exhausted and lacking any form of coherent thought that's not negative. He's still looking for something that has any effect in grounding. So far, nothing's really worked in his favor as a long term fix.

Living with a family like his, well, that's kind of a trial of will and determination.

In Holden's home, it's the typical Lawyer Mom and Doctor Dad combo and that really just cinches anyone in a bind that's really, really hard to get out of. Oddly enough, they didn't expect any of their children to follow in their footsteps. What they did expect, however, could probably have been the worse option out of the two. They expected both independence and lack of failure. Summed up, the Fields children were kind of screwed from the beginning.

What didn't help for the youngest of three, Holden, was that his two older siblings successfully jumped the hurdles their parents set for them. Especially when one of them became a rather successful fashion designer who'd settled in Manhattan. And then the sister decided she'd like to become a writer and, whilst she doesn't have movie deals, she found enough success to live a comfortable life without invoking their parent's ire.

Things didn't and wouldn't look up for Holden who'd found his niche in music. And really, it was all kinds of music and an absolute plethora of career options that he didn't know what to do with. The older Holden got, the more passionate he got, the less willing he got to come out of the shell of a world he'd created with a pair of giant headphones and an iPod with hundreds of songs.

Eventually, Holden found himself drawn more to dance than the numerous things he'd dove headfirst into. Unfortunately, that meant his parents expected him to solely stick to those guns and provide for himself. He'd somehow squeezed a number of dance lessons out of the two and from there he tried his best to take off without tripping. However, that didn't mean Holden ever came out of his shell outside of recitals or practice or tutors, it just meant he had another outlet that he could potentially turn into something more.

Which was the likely reason he'd landed himself in Camp Liberty for four consecutive years, though he's certain not many people could remember his face beyond the same introduction three years prior.

Ever since his first year, Holden's been successful at smuggling his music into the camp to the point he'd walk around with his headphones without much care. He always somehow procures another one if the first is taken - they stopped taking them after the fifth pair where it was threatening to become a running gag.

'Pizza Man', That one she got simply because like any good pizza delivery person she was always on time when making deliveries. Though she wasn't delivering pizzas. But a call to her was colloquially known as 'calling the pizza place' so the name just stuck. Don't call her that in public. Or around her sister.

If one would could describe Hana that word would be fabulous. There's a running gag in her family that Hana got all the attractive genes in the family, no one really appreciates that particular gag but then, no one really appreciates the oldest sibling that made the gag in the first place. Regardless of one's opinions on her family, Hana knows and acts like she is a looker - and for many people she knows in person she certainly is, thanks to the combination of her ethnicity in the midst of a not so diverse corner of the world, and from the care she puts into making sure she always looks good.

Her hair has to be on point, and it's more difficult than one might realize to make black hair shine, but Hana finds a way even if that means less time in the bathrooms for the family back home. Since wearing designer clothing and dresses at a summer camp is a good way to ruin them and make the summer miserable (something she learned the first year - but how was she supposed to see that big puddle of mud that utterly ruined her favorite summer dress?) so while at camp she makes do with eye catching but functional attire, your skirts that might be a tad too short for the high schools, the shirts that don't have sleeves, the shoes that she so wishes were heels. Functional, but flirtatious all the same. Just because she's around people she might never see again is no reason she shouldn't dress to impress.

Her skin is porcelain and she frequently wears lipstick to draw attention to her face, and considering she stands at just shy of five foor three, often that attention is aimed downwards from those taller than her. She's glad that in recent years she's really started to fill out those curves, which in her eyes only adds to the appeal that should have already been there. Hana does hate the birthmark on her arm, though, it just...it looks weird and she hates when people try and make it sound cute.

To an outsider looking in, someone like Hana Park seems like the absolute sweetheart. She's got a smile that is damn near infectious, a stride that exudes confidence, and a rapport with pretty much everyone she interacts with. And while that much is true on the surface, there's a little saying about wolves in sheep's clothing. Hana has a way of wrapping people around her finger because she knows what people want, what they need, and how to give it to them. It's a matter of supply and demand, she's the one to look up when it comes to supplies. Her part is played well, but the face she presents to her peers is a mask that is increasingly hard to hide behind.

Hana is a bit conceited, that much is true, but she's able to back up her talk with results. She might tell someone their answer is wrong or their piece of art is shit but when challenged she'll accept and come back swinging. She's not exactly competitive, just one who has a tendency of speaking boldly and refusing to back down whatsoever. She got that from her sister, whom she idolized for much of her youth.

Hana's charms come not from the subtle gestures or the too-perfect pick up lines, but from her way with people. She treats everyone with a varying amount of like, though the more slovenly and lazy sorts she has to really stretch her positivity, and that makes her likable to the right crowd of people. While less outright gossipy as some of her friends and allies, Hana is no less devious and judgy, but hers is far more subtle. Getting to know people in the way that she does leaves her privy to a lot of secrets that are better left in her head or on the backburner for a rainy day.

Because of this, Hana finds it best not to trust anyone other than herself. People are liars. She's one of them. But at least she'll never lie to herself.

Hixson, Tennessee

►Background◄

When down in the small town of Hixson, it's hard not to hear about the Park Family. The patriarch, Lee, is a pillar of the community, having turned a rundown produce farm into something profitable by selling his goods to the various markets and restaurants in town at more cost efficient rates for the small stores. The matriarch, Tiffany, does good work as hair stylist. But it's the Park Children that the community is far less willing to talk about.

There's the oldest, brother Ken, who dropped out of high school and spends his days getting high with his burnout buddies and thinking they're going to become the next big rap sensation. There's the older sister Abby who was expelled from high school for fighting bullies for the bullied thus being a bully herself, though she's since turned herself around by getting her GED and joining the police. There's the youngest, Jeremy, who is only in kindergarten but has a real shot at being the good Park.

But of course, there's Hana. On the surface there's nothing truly outrageous about her, not on the level of her two older siblings anyway. Sure she dresses rather...provocatively but she hasn't done anything that her parents vehemently disapprove of. That they are aware of, anyway.

Hana's childhood was spent idolizing her cool older sister, Abby, up until Abby started coming home bloody and angry after fighting some asshole or another. Abby became less cool to the young Hana and more...crazy; it only takes one instance of your idol coming into your shared bedroom covered in blood for an opinion to change. It was at this time, with Hana in middle school, that she came to the conclusion that people are never quite who you think they are; and that has applied to Hana as well.

Hana's popularity in high school has nothing to do with her looks, though they certainly don't hurt, and everything to do with why they call her Pizza Man. Having a brother that is involved in shady practices and a sister in the police gives Hana access to a variety of...party favors for her classmates. There's always some problem in public high schools, and in the case of Hixson High it was students using and Hana providing. Why? At first it was a way to buy something that her allowance wouldn't cover, but she grew addicted to the popularity and status it came with, and she got to keep the moral highground by never using herself. She could judge others for their vices while staying clean.

The Park Siblings have gone to Camp Liberty for years now, though Ken stopped after one year while Abby was a regular camper. Hana initially had no interest, but came around in her second year if only for the much more positive memories. It's nice for her to escape from the absolute tedium of living in Tennessee and deal with more civilized and cultured people who appreciate her for more than her promptness and forking over a bottle of cough syrup. Her parents always saw the camp as a learning experience, a way for their kids to build character, though considering how they siblings have all turned out so far, perhaps their character has been built incorrectly.

All Hana knows is, at Liberty no one expects anything from her and she can just be her cute, cunning self for a couple of weeks.

Abby Park, sister. Hana idolized her so much that when she was drawing regularly, she had an on going little series with a character based on Abby.

Hana is an artist at heart and would much rather be known for her comic doodles and sketches than her looks or 'pizza deliveries'.
