At that time, magic was a scarce resource that pushed him to do what he did, so magic was a main cause that corrupted him. But at Earth Land, it's like an everyday occurrence for anyone there. Mystogan (or Edo Jellal of course), has been around magic when he was young but wasn't corrupted by it. Both from Edolas, but one was corrupted by it while the other wasn't. Each had a different kind of magic environment that they experienced through and lived him.

But wouldn't it be possible if the Edolas world was completely discarded and so many people go to Earthland that they just end up sucking up all the Earthland magic due to overpopulation.

And they just end up destroying both eventually?

Especially when Earthland is still recovering "RAWR wizards are bad!" Thing?

And it honestly seemed that Edolas was doing alright without magic. They just had political trouble. (Which Earthland seemed to sort of share as well until Phoenix Wing busted everything)

No mention of actual food crisis, or anything. Just people. Which will always be a problem. Plus, after a hundred years with no magic, by then no one would even know how to bloody use it and would have to relearn literally everything.

Gen's logic kinda confuses me xD minus opposition to monarchy.

Mhm only thing I can compare that feeling is when I was little and couldn't sleep by myself. So I either snuck into my grandparents bed or shared with my parents.

Never slept by myself really until maybe ten or fifteen.

Especially since we only had like one bed most of the time xD

Then I got my own room and my mom got a boyfriend and I was kicked out. But I at least have kitties to cuddle
